Skopje, North Macedonia: when mom heard that I was going to Skopje, she had one request and I was forced to do it / obey her: make a vlog of the Memorial House of Mother Teresa.
Apparently, some guy made didn't speak so good of Mother Teresa in his vlog at the Memorial House, so mom said that I should be the one taking care of this business and do a proper tour of the Memorial while speaking greatly of Mother Teresa.
It's my mom, so I had to make her happy. I hope you'll enjoy it too!

The Mother Teresa Memorial House is dedicated to the humanitarian and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mother Teresa can be found in her hometown Skopje, in North Macedonia, where she lived from 1910 to 1928.

Mother Teresa was born in Skopje, on 26th of August 1910 in an Albanian Catholic family. The place of this museum was not randomly chosen - Mother Teresa, born Gonxhe Bojaxhiu was baptized in the old Catholic Church, Sacred Heart of Jesus that was right here on the same place that this museum was built in 2009. She used to spent most of her days in her youth here in the Catholic Church. She received her first communion here. She started school in the church school. She also sang in the church choir and she practically spent most of her time here in the church until she was 18 and she left Skopje and she went to Dublin, to Ireland.

This church is linked with Mother Teresa because many pilgrims and other believers visit this church, including Mother Teresa who together with her parents visited this church not only for the big celebrations but also during the whole year. STORYLINE:
Ahead of Mother Teresa's canonisation by Pope Francis on Sunday, celebrations are also being planned in Skopje, Macedonia, the place of her birth.
The Vatican ceremony is expected to draw tens of thousands to honour the tiny, stooped nun who was fast-tracked for sainthood just a year after she died in 1997.
Although she's best remembered for her work in India with Kolkata's destitute and ill, Mother Teresa's religious awakening began in the Balkans.
Born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu on August 26, 1910, in Skopje, Mother Teresa spent much of her childhood at the Sacred Heart of Jesus church, now a museum honouring her life and work.

Macedonia holds ceremony in St Teresa's hometown
(4 Sep 2016) While top Macedonian officials attended Mother Teresa's canonisation Mass at the Vatican, a modest ceremony was held in her hometown of Skopje.
About 50 people gathered at the chapel in the Mother Teresa Memorial House to express gratitude and joy for her sainthood.
Snezana Hristrovska brought her two young nephews to visit the memorial house in the Macedonian capital.
The 66-year-old said she was proud to be Macedonian and that the day's happiness would probably stay with her for a long, long time.
Saint Teresa was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Skopje on 26 August, 1910, the youngest of three children of an Albanian builder.
