Palma de Mallorca - Olivar Market - Mercat de l'Olivar
Fish Market in the heart of Palma de Mallorca. You can taste here the real mallorcian gastronomy (local food) with freshly caught fishes, fruits and vegetables. You can find it at the Olive Square, spanish name is: Mercat de l'Olivar.
Mercat de l'Olivar Geheimtipp Toller Markt Mitten in Palma de Mallorca Markthalle
Was meiner Meinung sehr viel schöner ist ....

Mallorca-today: Palma-Urlaubstipp Mercat de l’Olivar
Unsere Webseite:

Markets in Andratx, Palma and the rest of Mallorca
For more about markets in Mallorca visit
Almost every town in Mallorca has a weekly market, where you can buy everything from fresh fruit and veg, to cheap clothes, beach accessories, souvenirs and even livestock.
The Market in Andratx is fairly typical of the weekly markets across the island with flowers, fruit and veg, clothes and some slightly dodgy mis-spelt fashion ware.
There are markets all over Mallorca. Market day varies from town to town but the start and end times are fairly standard. The markets start at 8am and run until around mid-day.
For fresh friut, veg, meat and fish in Palma one of the best markets is the Olivar covered market. It's like a large bustling Harrod's food court just off Placa Espanya and is open everyday except Sunday from 7am-2pm.
The market is great for fresh food and there are stalls where you can have freshly made tapas. One of my favourite sections of the market is the area that sells fish it's probably not for the squeamish as most of the catches still have faces but you can get really good freshly made sushi here.
As well as food markets and general markets there are also artisan markets that sell jewellery, and hand made arts and crafts. Some of these markets like, Sa Bimbolla take place at night, and they a great place to pick up some gifts to take back home and even watch a show.
There are markets all over the island. They are on everyday and sometimes at night and you can buy everything from lunch to gifts to take home. Find the market day in the town near you on our Markets in Mallorca page.
