Eastern Sierras [4k]
This video was filmed over the course of two weeks. Flying from Detroit, Michigan to Las Vegas, Nevada - renting a SUV then driving from Vegas to Death Valley (California), about a 2.5 hour drive into the desert. Once I arrived to Furnace Creek, Ca - where I'd be staying for the next three days, I linked up with fellow photographers Michael Shainblum & Erin Babnik and went over the plan for the next couple weeks. Every day we woke up at 4:00am PDT, drove to our location which was usually 20 - 40 minutes away. On average we would hike a mile or two, to our final destination. Our journey began in Death Valley, California where we made stops at Zabriskie Point, Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, Badwater Basin (Lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level), Saltwater creek ( where it rained most of the time, but Death Valley receives less than one inch of rain a year so it was pretty amazing to experience), continued to some insane Mud Tiles found about a mile off the road in the middle of nowhere. After we wrapped in Death Valley we headed to Bishop California - about 3 more hours of driving through the harsh desert, high mountains ( snow covered in some parts ) and spent a few more days adventuring around those parts of the Eastern Sierras, visiting long winding rivers, insane foliage landscapes that resemble brush fires when first light hits. ect. you can find anything you want out there, its amazing! After a few days in Bishop, CA we made the drive to Lone Pine, Ca (about an hour drive). Lone Pine is cool because it resembles an old school western town, its also where they filmed a lot of the old western films including The Lone Ranger, Django Unchained, etc. while in Lone Pine we visited the Alabama Hills & Whitneys Portal. Lone Pine is also home to the highest mountain peak in the United States, Mt. Whitney standing at 14,505 feet above sea level. 4k Time Lapse video captured in Death Valley & around the Eastern Sierras.

Landscape Photography - Death Valley 2016
In early January 2016, my buddy and I took an awesome 6 day landscape photography trip from San Francisco to Death Valley National Park. We saw lots of amazing things along the way and felt fortunate to experience some of nature's beauty. Death Valley can seem very drab and stark at times, but if you go at the right time with the right conditions, it can be incredibly beautiful. The peacefulness and solitude of these areas was a welcome change from the busy city life. Hope you enjoy it!

Death Valley Off Road Adventure by Simple Photo Tours
We just returned from our private tour of Death Valley and the surrounding areas, we spent 4 days in some of the most scenic places.
We drove through Randsburg but nothing was going on, so we went to the Trona Pinnacles, then stopped to eat in Trona and on to Ballarat where we met the one person that lives there. He said that truck was Charles Manson's, but who knows if it's true.
Since there was still snow and some of the roads were closed, we couldn't go to the Charcoal Kilns and ended up at the Mesquite Dunes, which have way too many footprints by the way. We then checked into our hotel in Beatty, NV and had dinner at KC's Outpost, probably the best restaurant in town, since there's not many choices.
We left for The Racetrack at 3:30am to get there for sunrise, luckily with my Jeep we were able to make really good time on the 28 mile washboarded dirt road. We spend a lot of time there looking for the moving rocks, seems to be less each time we go there since people move them and screw things up for everyone else.
We stopped by the Ubehebe Crater on the way to lunch at the Fourty Niner Cafe in Furnace Creek, then went to Zabriske Point, Devil's Hole and Crystal Reservoir in the Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. On to Pahrump for dinner at Chattai Bistro, a very good Thai restaurant, believe it or not. Worth the extra hour drive back to our hotel to get some good Asian food in the desert.
It was raining in the morning so we slept in and had breakfast at Gema's Wagon Wheel Cafe near our hotel, went to Rhyolite Ghost Town and Badwater Basin. We then had lunch near Furnace Creek on the Indian reservation and had Indian Tacos. They were about as good and half the price of eating at the Fourty Niner Cafe. Then off to the Golden Canyon Trail for some hiking and back to KC's Outpost for dinner near our hotel.
Our last morning we left the hotel at 3:00am to make the long drive to The Eureka Dunes for sunrise. We made really good time and got there too early, relaxed a while then made the hike up to the top of the dunes to wait for the sun. We decided to take the West road to Big Pine and encountered some snow, luckily it wasn't bad and the Jeep handled it with ease.
We stopped for lunch at Country Kitchen in Big Pine, then made our last stop at Manzanar. Then we dropped Jay off and had my favorite Big Wok Mongolian BBQ in Ontario before heading to the airport to drop Alexandra off.
Overall we had a great trip, lots of off roading, great scenery, as good food as possible since the choices are limited in the desert!

Furnace Creek To Badwater And Back, Timelapse
From my campsite in Furnace Creek (Death Valley National Park) to Badwater, the lowest point in North America, then a little beyond before turning around. On the way back I turn onto Artist's Drive (the one-lane road) where we see Artist's Palette (at the trailhead where you see a restroom). Then I drive back to the Chevron station at Furnace Creek. Shot with a GoPro Hero2. One shot every two seconds. The video is 10 fps, so you are seeing the trip at 20x speed.

Exploring Artists Drive in Death Valley National Park | Landscape Photography
Death Valley National Park was my 2nd stop on my 12 day photography adventure after explore Joshua Tree National Park.
On my 2nd morning in Death Valley National Park, I explored Artists Drive. The road was closed upon arrival, due to the National Park shutdown at the time. As a result, I had an interesting time and a couple of encounters. Although I didn't capture the images I had in my mind before the trip, I am happy with the photographs I was able to capture, even though I was limited to my long lens.

Green Valley Ranch homes for sale (702)375-4082
Green Valley Ranch homes for sale!
Top 10 reasons to buy in Green Valley Ranch Las Vegas:
1. Green Valley Ranch Las Vegas has the Highest Per Capita income in the valley. The West side has the “flash” but the Median Incomes in GVR are actually some of the highest in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area.
2. Aside from its own Police Force it has its own Fire Department, Mayor & City Hall, Public Works, etc. And, unlike most municipalities it is aggressively growing and emerged from the recession with a budget surplus it utilizes to continue annexing and growing.
3. No Vacant Lots left in the Master-Plan which started in the late 80’s. So whatever you buy and own is likely to go up because they aren’t building anymore new homes in GVR.
4. St. Rose Hospital and the new Dignity Health Corridor are shaping up not only if you are a patient but this is a huge employment center that keeps values hopping.
5. Awesome Parks, Wide Sidewalks, Entry Monuments and the Multi-Generational Center, as well; as the Amphitheater all within walking distance of most staple GVR communities.
6. Mature Landscaping. Alright I will admit, most of what grows in the desert, like the Mesquite Tree for instance could be considered a weed anywhere else in North America. But, those desert trees are huge in GVR and literally provide full canopies over the streetscapes and there are even some deciduous trees with leaves that change color in the Fall.
7. Incredible Shopping at The District and on a more commercial level along the Eastern Corridor. Everything from Cafes, Whole Foods on up to Haute Couture.
8. Quick Access to the relatively new 215 Expressway from multiple on ramps. Meaning, Airport or Strip in 10 minutes or less.
9. Green Valley Ranch homes for sale offers “the best” Public Schools in the Great State of Nevada, with Vanderburg Elementary not only ranked the #1 Elementary School in the State; it is also honored nationally as a prestigious Blue Ribbon School.
10. Green Valley Ranch homes for sale are located in Henderson, Nevada which is listed as the 5th Safest City in America based on a ratio of police officers per citizen and crimes per 1,000 inhabitants.

Las Vegas Massacre Is The Worst Mass Shooting In History
On Sunday night a t least 50 people were killed, and more than 200 were injured in a mass shooting at a country music festival. This is the worst mass shooting in United States history, and one of the worst in the world. The gunman was identified by law enforcement officials as 64 year old Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada. Authorities are currently investigating the shooting. Paddock's motive for the shooting has not been revealed.

VIDEO THAT YOU DID'NT SEE-- LAS VEGAS SHOOTER
The man suspected of killing at least 58 people and injuring 515 when he opened fire on concertgoers Sunday night has been identified as Stephen Paddock
His dead body was discovered by police in a room at the Mandalay Bay Resort after he took his own life, with 'over 10 rifles' discovered on the scene
Paddock, 64, lived just 90 minutes outside Las Vegas in the city of Mesquite, where he bought a home in a retirement community back in 2015
The retired accountant and multimillionaire lived at the $400,000 property with girlfriend Marilou Danley, 62, who is currently in the
Philippines
Paddock had hunting and fishing licenses as well as his pilot's license and worked at Lockheed Martin as an auditor for three years in the late 1980s
He had no criminal record in the state of Nevada and officials said at a press conference early Monday that they are still looking into his possible motive
Paddock's father was a serial bank robber who was 'diagnosed as psychopathic' and spent eight years on the FBI Most Wanted list after escaping prison
Law enforcement officials said on Monday that the suspected gunman appears to have acted alone in the attack, despite early reports that stated there may have been multiple shooters on the scene.
Images of the Mandalay Bay Resort taken after the attack show two large windows on the 32nd floor of the building completely blown out.
Paddock had been staying there since last Thursday, arriving on September 28 to the hotel.
Multiple sources who knew Paddock in recent years also revealed on Monday that he spent a good deal of his time gambling, with law enforcement officials stating that in recent weeks he made a number of transactions in Las Vegas that were in the tens of thousands of dollars.
On some days he spent over $30,000, and on others over $20,000 according to an individual who had seen Paddock's Multiple Currency Transaction Reports.

Camping in Death Valley National Park - California 4K
Why would you want to go to Death Valley, California? See why you just might want to go in the stunning 4k video here:
#DeathValley, #California blew us away as we traveled there for our first trip. We set out to find the amazing Death Valley National Park. This place is known for it's world record breaking heat. On top of that, we planned to go #camping here. We arrived at night to the Furnace Creek Campground. The next morning we set off to see Badwater Basin, which is the lowest place in North America. Then we went to the Devil's Golf Course, The Artist Palette and Artist Drive. The colors in these rocks were like nothing we have ever seen before. Then we went on the Golden Canyon hike, which is the most popular #hiking trail in Death Valley. Later we went to Dante's View, which is the best panoramic view of this amazing valley. Finally, we raced to Zabriskie Point to catch an incredible sunset there. The next morning we went back to see this amazing place in the day. We then went to Saltwater creek to see the pupfish play. We stopped for a moment in hopes to find the super bloom, which is flowers growing road side here. Soon after, we went to the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. These are some of the most amazing sand dunes in southern California. Last but not least, we went to hike the Mosaic Canyon trail. The rock formations were like a work of art. There was so much things to do here that we have to visit this epic destination again!
