Monastero di Santa Lucia is an architectural complex in the city of Adrano, near Catania, Italy. The former monastery currently serves as an elementary school. Attached to it is the high school, Giovanni Verga. An eastward extending piazza faces the garden of the Villa Comunale, which fronts the Church and Monastery of Santa Lucia.The monastery of Santa Lucia was founded in 1157 and was rebuilt in the 15th and 17th centuries. The church adjoining the monastery was erected in 1596 and was rebuilt in the late 18th century. The façade has three orders. Two bell towers rise on the sides with quadrangular domes. Inside, the choir is in the Rococo style, and continues to the first altar. A painting depicting Saint Lucy is attributed to Giuseppe Rapisardi. The apse paintings, the decorations of the vault, and the paintings on the first altar on the left and on the second altar on the right are attributed to the school of Olivo Scozzi.
