Amazing Møns Klint (Visit Moen, Denmark) 2017
Møns Klint is an amazing place in Denmark. It is recognizable by white cliffs. There you can enjoy with your friends and family in a picnic, nice walks or go hiking. Place offers a parking lot, restaurant and a museum. Three staircases lead to white cliffs. Nearby there is a tent camp and climbing school. Summer is the best time for a visit, but in September and October it's also very nice. As you can see in the video it was windy, but it's normal for Denmark. Enjoy the video.

MØNS KLINT ~('.')~
Right after getting back from Scotland, Emily and I had a chance to go on an overnighter together somewhere local. Møns Klint is a small park in Denmark we picked so we could explore it's chalk cliffs and see some beech trees (they really are the oldest in the country :). There are close to 15 miles of trails in the forest and along the beach, and we nearly saw all of it on our trip.

Weiter geht es auf der Tour durch Süd-Dänemark: heute besuchen wir die spektakulären Kreidefelsen von Møns Klint auf der Insel Møn.
Zuerst schauen wir uns die interaktive Ausstellung im Geocenter an bevor es mit einem Ranger über fast 500 Stufen hinunter zum Strand gehen, um nach Fossilien zu suchen.
Daraus wird ein Rundspaziergang mit mehr als 1.000 Treppenstufen.... aber seht selbst!

During my trip to Denmark I visited the impressive Møns Klint. Before releasing my drone on the beach, I hiked through the fall colored forest to get from the cliff top to the shore, enjoying stunning views of the Baltic Sea along the way.
Møns Klint are a 6 km stretch of chalk cliffs along the eastern coast of the Danish island of Møn in the Baltic Sea. Some of the cliffs fall a sheer 120 m to the sea below, the highest cliffs in the country. The area around Møns Klint consists of woodlands, pastures, ponds and steep hills. The cliffs and adjacent park are now protected as a nature reserve.

Geocenter Møns Klint
Geological Museum, Moens Klint, nature resort, island of Moen, Denmark.
Møn is a lump of chalk, and 128 m above the sea, you are at the same time on top of the Danish chalk foundation. Denmark is entirely built on a platform of chalk hence the Cliff of Møn bears witness of the enormous forces that have created the country and the unique flora and fauna of the area.
The museum exhibits the fossil findings of the area.
