Mont Salève - Balcony of Geneva
The Salève is a mountain of the French Prealps located in the departement of Haute-Savoie (France). It is also called the Balcony of Geneva.
The Salève offers a magnificent panorama over the Geneva agglomeration, Lake Geneva, the south of the Jura mountains, the Prealps, Lake Annecy and the Mont Blanc. It is used for leisure time activities by the inhabitants of Geneva due to its proximity to the city (for this reason it is often called the mountain of the Genevans).

This film features a cable car ride up the mountain, which covers 1,100 metres in less than five minutes. Climbing Mont-Salève, Views of Geneva Switzerland [4K]
Some of the views from (almost) the top of Mt. Saleve in France looking over the city and lake of Geneva, across the border in Switzerland.
Geneva’s home mountain lies around 900 meters above the Jet d'Eau, on French terrain, yet at the heart of Geneva. And the mountain has been connected to mountain rail since over 120 years. Impressive views over the canton of Geneva as far as the Jura - and Mont Blanc on a clear day

Geneva sits at an elevation of 325 meters (1,2370 feet) and it is situated along the banks of Europe's largest lake, Lake Geneva (Lac Léman), at the mouth of the Rhone River. It is bordered by the Jura Mountains to the west and the French Alps in the east.
It is the capital of the Republic and Canton of Geneva.
Geneva is a global city, and a worldwide center for diplomacy due to the presence of numerous international organizations. Geneva is the city that hosts the highest number of international organizations in the world.
With a population of about 200,000 inhabitants it's the second largest city of Switzerland after Zurich.
