We camped at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville AL and were very happy we did. The campground is on a mountain with a great view of Huntsville with awesome sunsets.
The park has lots of hiking and biking along with many other attractions like the Japanese Gardens and the Space Observatory.

Fun hike with my BEAUTIFUL BRIDE to the Three Caves in Huntsville AL! We started the hike from the Land Trust Parking Lot and took the Alms House Trail.

Enjoy a rare treat as we follow the swollen stream from the bottom of Monte Sano Mountain to where even the trails don't dare go. Just a mile (as the crow flies) from Huntsville city center, yet oceans away. Thank you North Alabama Land Trust!

Cabin Camping at Monte Sano State Park
We spent two nights in Monte Sano State Park which is right outside of Huntsville, Alabama on a little mountain. We also drove over to Helen Keller's birthplace in Tuscumbia, AL, since my younger sister had recently studied about her in school. I hope you enjoy this little recap of our time there in July!
