The video is not perfect, that's because I mainly wanted to focus on the conference and not on the filming.

Russia: Putin says most important task is to strengthen the armed forces
Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed military officials and graduates of the military academies at an official reception ceremony at the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Tuesday.
SOT, Vladimir Putin, Russian President (Russian): Today we are solving many large-scale national tasks but the most important is undoubtedly the strengthening of the Armed Forces. A modern and well-equipped, mobile army and navy guarantees the sovereignty and independence of the Fatherland. The security of our citizens is a weighty argument against any attempts at provocation, blackmail or pressure against our country.
SOT, Vladimir Putin, Russian President (Russian): We understand that the combat power of the army and navy are based on the highest professional skills of the personnel, their ability to work effectively with the latest means and methods of warfare; and first of all we need officers who are capable of skillfully managing the troops.
SOT, Vladimir Putin, Russian President (Russian): Our strategic course towards the modernisation and improvement of the Armed Forces remains unchanged. The operations of our Aerospace Forces and Navy in the Syrian Arab Republic proved that this course was right and was carried out efficiently. We will continue optimizing the structure and the numerical strength of the army and navy as well as bringing the system of military governance and coordination of military units to a new level, including our interaction with our allies.
SOT, Vladimir Putin, Russian President (Russian): Traditionally, officers who will soon join the law enforcement agencies and special services are here today in this hall. They have achieved good results in many areas of their work during recent years. But it is important to move forward, to eliminate terrorists and extremists as well as fight bravely against crime and corruption. Your duty is to ensure the rule of law, constitutional and public order, and the rights of our citizens.

10 Best Places to Visit in Russia.
Russia, once the largest and most powerful member of the former USSR, nonetheless remains a fascinating country to visit. It is a country of contrasts, from great subtropical beaches to bitterly cold winter regions in the north. The east may have fewer people, but its lovely cities are among the most popular places to visit in Russia and can hold their own against the west. Russia is steeped in history everywhere a traveler goes, from vicious battles to great classical music and literature. And almost everywhere visitors can see examples of magnificent art, not only in museums but also in its churches.

Ukraine ‘Decommunisation’ Deadline: More than 160 villages and towns to be renamed
A decommunisation deadline is approaching in Ukraine. By February 21 all Soviet symbols have to be dismantled and cities named after Soviet-era leaders changed. This is in line with a package of laws which bans communist and Nazi regime symbols and propaganda. But critics are skeptical this will done in time.
((GRAPHICS))
The Ukrainian parliament passed a law which will see more than 160 villages and towns renamed. In many areas work to dismantle symbols and statues of Soviet leader Lenin has already begun.
((V2,V3,V4)) Last month the head of Ukraine’s state Institute for National Memory, tasked with the process of decommunisation, said more than 900 towns and villages need to be renamed. That’s more than three percent of the country’s settlements.
((V3,V4)) Over the past year more than 800 statues of Lenin had been removed as part of Ukraine’s efforts to break away from its Soviet past.

The National World War II Memorial, which honors the spirit and sacrifice of the 16 million men and women who served overseas and the more than 400,000 that perished, opened to the public in April 2004.
A perennial visitor favorite, the Lincoln Memorial stands at the west end of the National Mall as a neoclassical monument to America’s 16th president. A 19-foot statue of Abraham Lincoln sits overlooking the Reflecting Pool and the Washington Monument from his permanent seat on America's front yard.
This memorial honors members of the U.S. armed forces who fought, died in service or were listed MIA during the Vietnam War. It is divided into three separate parts: the Three Soldiers statue, the Vietnam Women’s Memorial and the well-known Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.
The Korean War Veterans Memorial was dedicated in 1995, on the 42nd anniversary of the armistice that ended the conflict. The memorial consists of 19 statues of soldiers representing a squad on patrol, drawn from each branch of the Armed Forces.
In honor of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's four terms in office, the memorial is divided into four outdoor rooms, where statues and murals stand to represent issues from the Great Depression to World War II.
Frequently ranked by visitors as their favorite piece of architecture on the National Mall, the Jefferson Memorial serves as the site of many annual events and ceremonies including memorial exercises, an Easter sunrise service and the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
