Beauty of Decay
...
Alex Sliozkin, an architectural historian, a member of the Society for the Study of Russian manor: «And now we enter the temple through the altar. This frame of the iconostasis. Everything is saved, that is something the church is closed not too long ago, 66 years ago»
Enthusiasts of the Society for the Study of Russian manor in the record books and photographs, as destroyed the last nest of the old Russia, carrying tourists and - shrug. Palace Marshal Chernysheva, one of the finest monuments in Russia XVIII century, the century XXI - a hair's breadth from death. Corinthian columns collapsed, family vault hacked, Plate «protected by state» rusted, and the former owner - the Moscow Aviation Institute - from the manor and the church disown:
Andrew CHEKMAREV, an architectural historian, a member of the Society for the Study of Russian manor: «These are the half-and in general the general solution of the church hall echoed with the interiors of the Great Kremlin Palace».
It is not surprising: after all, for the Senate of the Moscow Kremlin replied Matvey Kazakov. And for the church at Yaropoletskoy estate: his teacher - Vasily Bazhenov. Only there, in Moscow, the State Prize is awarded now, but here, in Yaropoltse today - the temple of hip-hop.
Andrew CHEKMAREV, an architectural historian, a member of the Society for the Study of Russian manor: «The saddest thing that overfly the palace of the last vestiges of real scenery - stone, carved, molded. Girlyandochki with keystones, lion masks ... Of these, there are only three of them ».
The fact that you can still see in reality, except that the obelisk to the arrival of Catherine the Great. All the rest have to imagine. And the regular park, a luxury comparable to Versailles, and the system of fountains and terraces, and the sculpture park .... All this in a patrimonial nest Chernyshev exist until the Bolsheviks came to power, yet there is not a spa to them. Pavlik Morozov. It would seem that those days are long gone, but it Pavlikov is alive and well. And, alas, not only here but all over Russia.
Ivan Sinyushkin, the Proprietor: This is on the poster is written: «The Executive Committee of Workers 'and Soldiers' Deputies: Citizens! The old owners are gone. After they left a great legacy. Now it belongs to all people ».
This - the last thing the owner of a private hotel, of Rostov Ivan Sinyushkin, hung in his merchant's mansion. It's no joke, write a three-star hotel in the monument of the XIX century?
Ivan Sinyushkin, Proprietor: «As the old roof was already completely unsuitable, we fully reconstructed».
Correspondent: «At first, a Jacuzzi set, and then the roof?»
Ivan Sinyushkin: «Approximately so».
...
Palaces and manor houses go under the hammer. But where is the guarantee that the new owners do not turn them into modern replica, not obnesut fence? According to the consultant, the first 15 suburban estates of the surviving 600 are already sold. And almost everything - at a private auction.
Natalia Belova, Head of suburban real estate agency rielterskogo: «It is really very upsetting. Previously, these same ruins could somehow see to it approached, then in the near future, if the legislation does not change anymore. Because it is impossible to go on private property ».
In wooden farmstead Leontiev, unique to historians, lived for many years Pionerlager until accidentally found a successor, who created the first precedent in Russia. And now a private mansion restore in partnership with public funds, and a few years here will open the museum and the Center for Russian estate culture. All this - the forces of France and Russia volunteers.
If a dozen of French volunteers did not want to dig a little deeper into the history of a foreign country, the Leontief estate may have suffered the same fate as hundreds of others. Their future in front of tourists is erased in the dust.
Irina Shcherbakova, a participant of the project «Russo-French volunteer camp»: «Leontiev, probably would have been difficult without the fund. Fund without Leontiev, in general, does ».
Correspondent: «And the state?»
Irina Shcherbakova: «State ... Well, what state? Well, do not reach him until all hands ».

Vozdvizhenka Street is one of Moscow historical streets. Between nthe 13th-18th centuries, the street was the site of the
Volotosk Road a trading route from Veliky Novgorod through Volokolamsk to Moscow and the Trinity Gate leading into the Kremlin...
During the mid 15th century the Monastery of the True Life-Giving Cross of the Lord and the church of the same name...
By the 16th century, the street was an important trade route connecting Moscow with Smolensk , while the road from Veliky Novgorod at that time already passed through the territory of modern Tverskaya Street.
Being close to the Kremlin, the street was popular with members of the Moscow nobility, close to the Tsardom.
In the 18th century , after the transfer of the capital to St. Petersburg in 1713 and the decline of trade with Smolensk, the street became less lively, but remained the seat of residence of Moscow aristocracy. During the Napoleonic fire of 1812, Vozdvizhenka was severely damaged, many buildings were burned. In 1814, the Holy Cross Monastery was abolished. Only the parish church of the same name has being preserved.
At the end of the 19th century, houses in the Art Nouveau style were erected on the street : the estate of entrepreneur Varvara Morozova (No. 14) and the mansion of her son , merchant and philanthropist Arseny Morozov (No. 16), made in the Moorish style.
After the October Revolution, the appearance of the street changed greatly.....

These are not such a collection of historical photographs as the house and grounds had been turned into a museum soon after the death of Lenin in 1924. However, I like them very much as they have a soft glow about them and show how light and airy the rooms are…..
The estate of Gorki belonged to various Muscovite noblemen from the 18th century. Zinaida Morozova, the widow of Savva Morozov, purchased it in 1909, the year before she married General Anatoly Reinbot (later Anatoly Rezvoy) the Moscow head of police. She engaged the most fashionable Russian architect, Fyodor Schechtel, to remodel the mansion in the then current Neoclassical style, complete with a six-column Ionic portico.
After the Soviet government moved to Moscow in 1918 it nationalized the luxurious estate and converted it into Vladimir Lenin's dacha. In September 1918 the Soviet leader recuperated there following an assassination attempt. He spent an increasing amount of time there as his health declined over the following years. On May 15, 1923 Lenin followed medical advice and left the Moscow Kremlin for Gorki. He lived there in semi-retirement until his death on January 21, 1924.

Igor Morozov, Federation Council senator: The United States did all that it could to destroy the system, that we all used to rely on for arms control. In terms of politics, it's making its last attempts to hold on to its superiority in global politics and retain the unipolar world. For the Americans, there isn't any other way to structure their policies or military strategy.

Russian Anti-Corruption Campaigner Slams Putin’s Crackdown on Dissent
Russian anti-corruption campaigner and opposition blogger Alexei Navalny on Thursday slammed President Vladimir Putin’s increasing crackdown on dissenting voices with a law against “undesirable NGOs.” The legal measure follows 2012 legislation allowing the branding of any group that receives foreign funding as a “foreign agent” and is part of a Kremlin-fueled campaign that associates its critics with a so-called “fifth column” of national traitors. Daniel Schearf reports.

Putler Vladolf (putin vladimir): The Putin's Way (English Documentary)
The bombings of apartment buildings were a series of real estate explosions in the Russian cities of Buynaksk, Moscow, and Volgodonsk during September 1999. There is an apparent resemblance to the later American September 11 inside job.
Some observers have stated that the Russian bombings were a false flag attempt, coordinated by Russian state security services (fsb former soviet kgb and nkvd) to bring the serial killer putin vladimir, by any means necessary, into the Russian presidency. Such terror in post communist soviet Russia, is only possible to be carried out under the supervision of non less than soviet and atheistic putler vladolf and his circles.
In addition, despite the fact that the hypocrite vladolf putler (pootler) might be the richest man on earth (only straight after the owners of federal reserve banks system), yet the poor and misguided (yet murderous) putin vladimir is clearly driven by an unclean spirit which is working in him already for decades, evidently since the time of the tragedies and up to these tragic nowadays.
The Rooskey (White European Russian) citizens of Russia are constantly being watered down and therefore are lacking in integrity, solidarity and teamwork, over putin’s tyrannical rule. Thus all they have is atheism, whoredom, alcoholism and poverty, along with an artificial and putin made propaganda, which feeds them lies, hypocritical agenda and diabolical narratives, which allow a white European Rooskey male genocide to occur nonstop in Russia since the dawn of communism.

Corruption protests sweep Russia; Putin opponent arrested
Thousands of demonstrators across Russia marched Sunday protest of corruption in the government of President Vladimir Putin, and the opposition leader was among hundreds arrested.
Alexei Navalny was among about 500 people arrested in Moscow, police said in a statement. Navalny was charged with violating an administrative code regulating public gatherings and faced a fine, community service or administrative detention, the state-owned TASS news agency reported. Most of those detained were released within hours, police said.
Many people were detained today, Navalny tweeted, warning the thieves that We are millions.
The protests, promoted by Navalny and his Foundation for Fighting Corruption, (FBK), targeted Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, a right-hand man of Putin who served as the nation's president from 2008 to 2012. Navalny accuses Medvedev of amassing yachts, vineyards and country estates through a string of financial schemes and fake companies.
Protesters, some hanging from light polls, shouted slogans including Down with Putin! and Putin is a thief!
Navalny tweeted Sunday: 70 billion rubles stolen (by) Medvedev, and now there is a search in the office of FBK. That's why rallies across Russia. The equivalency of 70 billion rubles is more than $1 billion.
The Russian news website RT said local authorities had rejected the organizers' request to march along Tverskaya Street, the main thoroughfare in Moscow. Two alternative locations proposed by the city were rejected by march organizers.
In St. Petersburg, an unsanctioned opposition rally drew about 3,000 people, according to RT. Three people were detained. A rally in Novosibirsk, which was sanctioned after a court had ordered local authorities to overturn a ban, drew about 1,500 people, RT said. Another sanctioned event in Tomsk drew about 400 protesters.
Navalny was arrested while walking from the subway to the demonstration, the Associated Press reported.
Guys, it's okay with me, he tweeted. You do not have to beat me. Walk along Tverskaya. Our today's topic — the fight against corruption.
Several fracases broke out between protesters and police. One officer suffered a head injury when he was hit by a protester, police said.
“It’s scary, but if everyone is afraid, no one would come out onto the streets,” protester Yana Aksyonova, 19, told the AP.
“People are unhappy with the fact that there’s been no investigation” of the corruption allegations, protester Ivan Gronstein told the wire service.
