Mount Madonna Miller Ruins - Ghost Town
I was out hiking at a park I've never been when I unexpectedly came upon ruins in the woods. Scouting around I eventually found information markers describing the location as the summer home of Henry Miller and clan. Down the hill from the site was some kind of empty pool. Leading to the pool is a set of stairs with an interesting red rock embedded in them. I thought the rock was significant but found no reference to it being special. When looking up information about this site online I discovered that the area is said to be haunted by Henry Miller's daughter, Sarah. This was a very cool experience. I was very happy that I brought my camera to capture it. Enjoy

Good morning Trucking Divas & those inspired to be Trucking Divas! What's up to all you Road Warriors out there? By now you know that I left my assignment with Ellco Transportation & for those of you who didn't know, I work for an agency that sends me to drive for various companies. I was on a long term assignment with Ellco and didn't like the fact that they didn't take care of their equipment.....the way that I'm used to! I'm used to driving newer trucks, working with companies that care about their drivers, company meetings, etc.
Not to bag on Ellco because I liked working with the owner of the company & I'd work for him any time, as long as I felt safe in the equipment provided. However, twice on Tuesday the truck door popped open while I was on the freeway, after it had supposedly been fixed, I was over worked & always cutting close on my on-duty hrs, and there were numerous problems with trailers.....not being able to slide tandems, etc.
With that said, Tuesday after work, I took all my stuff out of the truck and made the decision that I wasn't going back after getting ready to go in the following morning. So this and a couple more trips I will load up took place prior to that decision.
Thanks so much for watching! I will definitely keep you all posted as to future endeavors.
