HONG KONG & A CAT CAFE!
Luke leaves the country while I hangout with cats **not clickbait**
Hong Kong Cat Cafés | Ah Meow Cat Cafe and Meow Mi Home
There are several cat cafés in Hong Kong and I visited two to compare.
Ah Meow Cat Cafe is more like a cat themed café that has a few cats. They serve cute dishes, and all their cups and bowls are cat themed. They seem to try to take better care of their cats as well. They give you a 'rule book' with the menu, and tell people off when they break the rules. Overall, it's well decorated with the added bonus of having cats.
Meow Mi Home is definitely not short on cats! This, however, probably makes it more difficult to take care of them. This is a great place to go if you just want to spend time with cats, but not if you also want a good meal. The food is overpriced for what it is, and everything comes in disposable containers. The service isn't the best as my order took over an hour to arrive and my friend had finished eating ages ago. The decor isn't anything special compared to Ah Meow Cat Cafe.
If you want to be surrounded by cats, try to get a sofa table. Remember to bring socks as well as you have to take your shoes off at the door, and wearing socks is mandatory.
Ah Meow Cat Cafe (阿貓地攤):
Po Ming Building, 2-6 Foo Ming St, Causeway Bay
Open Mon to Sun 12-10pm
Meow Mi Home (貓咪貓咪HOME):
Kiu Kin Mansion, 號 2 樓, 566-568A Nathan Rd, Yau Ma Tei
Open Mon to Sun 1-11pm
It's best to book a table before going and to try and visit when it's less busy.

Hong Kong Cat Cafe: Cat Store 阿貓地攤 可愛かわいい貓 2019-3-16
Hope you like our video, please share it and SUBSCRIBE!
Hong Kong is one of the most exciting international cities in the world. Despite the energy-sapping heat and humidity, it teems with vitality, from ultramodern Hong Kong Island and its architectural skyline to mysterious Kowloon with its lively neighborhoods and street markets.
Hong Kong is distinctly Chinese, but feels more global with a large expat population and British colonial era infrastructure. But the melting pot of crowds and hot climate aren't the only reasons Hong Kong gets your pulse racing. Now, you can add cat cafes to the list.
Just like the city, these feline emporiums are diverse and often crowded- full of people, cats and unexpected discoveries.
Again, Hope you like our video, please share it and SUBSCRIBE! Thank you for your watching.
Hong Kong Park & a cat cafe!
We wander Hong Kong Park and Jessica has a conversation with a strange bird. Then we wander around Central, stumble upon Shepard Fairey, and go to a cat cafe. YASS KATZ. Finally, we take the Star Ferry and admire HK at night. This was a jam-packed day, which is why I split this day's vlog in half.

CE starts Beijing visit (24.10.2018)
Chief Executive Carrie Lam started her visit to Beijing today by meeting CPC Beijing Municipal Committee Secretary Cai Qi and Beijing Mayor Chen Jining in the morning.
She said she was pleased that another plenary session of the Hong Kong/Beijing Co-operation Conference had been organised, thanks to the joint efforts of the governments of both sides.
Mrs Lam noted the Belt & Road Summit is held in Hong Kong annually, and invited Mr Cai and Mr Chen to attend next year.
After the meeting, Mrs Lam and Mr Chen co-chaired the conference, during which the two cities reached consensus on eight co-operation areas.
They also witnessed the signing of the memorandum of the Fourth Plenary Session of the Hong Kong/Beijing Co-operation Conference by Financial Secretary Paul Chan and Beijing Vice Mayor Yin Yong.
In the afternoon, Mrs Lam attended the opening ceremony of the 22nd Beijing-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Symposium.
Noting that the theme of this year's symposium is collaboration between Beijing and Hong Kong in the Belt & Road Initiative, Mrs Lam said Hong Kong has firmly established itself as the prime platform and a key link for the initiative.
The city will build up its pivotal position by leveraging its strengths to meet the country's needs, she added.
She also expressed hope that Beijing and Hong Kong will fully advance their exchanges and collaboration in various areas.
Mrs Lam then met Finance Minister Liu Kun and thanked the Ministry of Finance for its support for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
She will visit Hebei tomorrow.(

CE attends delta conference (25.9.2017)
Chief Executive Carrie Lam led a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government delegation to participate in the 2017 Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Co-operation Chief Executive Joint Conference in Changsha today.
Mrs Lam said the Pan-Pearl River Delta provinces and regions can go global with Hong Kong by utilising the city as a platform for two-way opening up.
She said: In participating in the development of the Belt & Road Initiative, Hong Kong has niches in professional services and geographical advantages.
The current-term Government will integrate Hong Kong's own developments with the Belt & Road Initiative, with a view to consolidating traditional priority industries of Hong Kong and opening up potential new areas of economic growth.
She said Hong Kong can contribute in four areas, namely serving as a platform for investment and financing, building a transportation and logistics hub, being a platform for professional services, and taking forward the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area.
Noting the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's emphasis on innovation and technology development and its commitment to promoting re-industrialisation and developing high value-added industries, Mrs Lam said it will encourage universities in Hong Kong and research and development institutions in the delta to undertake more co-operation projects.
She hopes to nurture people-to-people bonds in the delta by enhancing co-operation in youth work and the implementation of measures to help Hong Kong people study, work and live on the Mainland.
Officials from the delta provinces and regions witnessed the signing of two agreements on customs and tourism co-operation.
Mrs Lam later spoke at a consultative meeting involving officials from delta provinces and regions and the Central Government.
She said Hong Kong, as a regional transportation hub and a major asset management centre in Asia, will complement and support the establishment of the Express Rail Link economic belt and a co-operation fund, under the framework of one country, two systems.
Mrs Lam also met officials from Hunan, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Yunnan and Fujian to discuss co-operation on the Belt & Road Initiative, the bay area's development, exploring the ASEAN market, innovation and technology, youth and tourism. (
Mr & Mrs Tree 2016 - Bangkok Hotel Lotus Sukhumvit (Accor Hotels)
Performance of Bangkok Hotel Lotus Sukhumvit at the Mr & Mrs Tree 2016 competition. Our theme was Treevolution
A boy lost in the wilderness, is accepted with love and kindness by the forest and the animals. However, things take a drastic turn when the ‘ax’ man starts exploiting the forest for his selfish needs. The aftermath of the destruction kindles a ray of guilt in the ‘ax’ man. Realizing what he did was wrong, the ‘ax’ man sets on a journey to regenerate and revive the forest; because humans and nature, are meant to coexist with one another.
