The Muay Thai Diary starts now | Bangkok Travel Experience | LeoNiLeo in Bangkok
From a Muay Thai training center in Berlin to a professional Muay Thai Camp all the way in Udon Thani, Thailand. This is going to be my travel agenda. This trip will be packed with loads of Muay Thai practice, but I'm hoping to get the chance to indulge in Thailand's culture and cusine. I am looking forward to tasting fresh off the tree Mangos and other delicacies that Thailand definitely has to offer.
After a night session of attempting to pack smart, I have reached the point of no return with the challenge I set for myself.
With 20 hours of travel ahead of me and a six hour stop over in Doha I have time to internalize what is about to happen:
Training twice a day, six days a week for three weeks straight in Udon Thani, Thailand.
I only started training five months ago and now I am head over heels obsessed with Muay Thai Boxing. The last two months I started stepping up my workout, by training up to five times a week in group and individual sessions. Additionally I also started running on the treadmill to achieve a better cardio.
I have been told that regardless of your level, it will feel like you are starting your training from scratch, when you practice in Thailand, because their approach and technique tend to vary from how we practice in Europe. I have also heard a lot of pleasant things about the Thai hospitality and I am looking forward to eating loads and loads of healthy and fresh food.
Since the spring/summer is still frontin’ in Berlin I cannot wait to barely having to wear anything but either swimwear or gym clothes.
With no further delay I’d like to present to you the first episode of the Muay Thai Diary by LEO NI LEO.
Feel free to comment and share if you ever made a similar journey, or maybe plan to do so soon? I am looking forward to hearing from you, about your experiences with Thailand, martial arts or just traveling and working out in general. I realized
that there is never a perfect time to take a leap and make a bold step out of your comfort zone. Setting yourself a deadline and sticking to it is a good way to manouver yourself to another level, be it fitness wise, diet wise or in a professional context.
Start with what you have. Start where you are- but start.
LEO NI LEO - seize the day the self growth enhancing way
Yours,
ShaNon

The Muay Thai Diary is a channel about my newly discovered passion for martial arts, and most of all as the name says it...Muay Thai boxing.
Only five months ago a friend of mine, also my trainer to be, introduced me to Muay Thai boxing and I got hooked straight away. This YouTube is about sharing the process of learning from scratch, expanding your physical and mental horizon, outgrowing yourself and evolving in order to become a better version of yourself. Of course you can get fit, lean or even shredded through training, but for me personally the fact that my ability to focus and discipline myself and achieve a much better inner balance is the biggest benefit so far. Soon after starting my trainer challenged me to travel to Thailand as a team in order to train at a traditional Muay Thai Camp. I´d like to take you a long to my journey and training experience through Bangkok, Udon Thani and Chiang Mai.
