Our City, Our Story - Museum of Osteology
The Museum of Osteology, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is a unique educational experience. Focusing on the form and function of the skeletal system, this 7000 square ft. museum displays hundreds of skulls and skeletons from all corners of the world. Exhibits include adaptation, locomotion, classification and diversity of the vertebrate kingdom. The Museum of Osteology is the only one of its kind in America.
The Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum
The Oklahoma City National Memorial is a memorial in the United States that honors the victims, survivors, rescuers, and all who were affected by the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995.

Oklahoma City is the capital of the U.S. state of Oklahoma. It's known for its cowboy culture and capitol complex, surrounded by working oil wells. The reflecting pool and empty glass and bronze chairs of the Oklahoma City National Memorial recall the victims of the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. The Survivor Tree, an American elm nearly destroyed in the attack, is also part of the memorial.
Oklahoma City is the largest city in the state, as well as its political, cultural, and economic engine. The city is the nation's third largest city in land area (608 sq miles), just behind Jacksonville FL (759 sq miles) and way behind Anchorage AK (1698 sq miles). The city is the 29th largest city in population in the nation (506,132 in the 2000 census), and the largest city in the 5 plains states (Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and North and South Dakota).

America's Only Human and Animal Skeletons Museum
This is video we took recently from the Museum of Osteology in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This museum is so incredibly cool! It houses a huge collection of animal and human skeletons (yes, they are real). It is the only museum of its kind in the United States. It's definitely worth visiting when you are in the Oklahoma City area. It's located about 10 miles outside the downtown area. They have an awesome gift shop too.

The Oklahoma State Firefighters Museum
The Oklahoma Firefighters Museum, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is a museum owned and administered by the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association. The museum is financed by the dues collected from more than 8,000 firefighters. Groundbreaking for the museum building was performed on April 6, 1967 and was completed in 1969. The building houses the museum, the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association, the Oklahoma Fire Chiefs Association, the Council on Firefighter Training and the Oklahoma Retired Firefighters Association offices.

45th Infantry Museum
A spectacular collection of military artifacts is housed at the 45th Infantry Division Museum in Oklahoma City. Exhibits in the museum present these fascinating objects to narrate the military history of Oklahoma's own 45th Infantry Division of the National Guard, also known as the Thunderbirds. The museum highlights other aspects of American military history as well. Outside on the grounds of the 45th Infantry Division Museum is Thunderbird Park. Some of the larger artifacts of Oklahoma's military history are located there, including tanks, aircraft and large guns.
