This isn't a whole day of our trip, it's actually just a little continuation of our last day in washington. I don't know why we didn't stop anywhere planned in virginia, but lily wanted a break from driving in traffic so we did stop here and alex took the boys for a little hike. :)

Madeline Delp visits the North Carolina Museum of History
Madeline Delp graduated from UNC Asheville in May 2017 with a degree in business and foreign language. She used those entrepreneurial skills to found the nonprofit organization, Live Boundless, which funds educational projects for those with disabilities. Along the way she won the title of Ms North Carolina Wheelchair and then was crowned Ms. Wheelchair USA in July 2017. Madeline’s vision is to film a video series that educates wheelchair users on how to adapt to each area of life - meanwhile inspiring people from all backgrounds that no matter what their disability may be, they too have the strength to overcome.
With a collection of more than 350000 artifacts that spans more than 14000 years of history, the N.C. Museum of History highlights North Carolina culture and offers plenty of things to do in downtown Raleigh.
