Tenerife is the largest of the seven Canary Islands, captivating, mysterious and vibrant, the ‘island of eternal spring’. It is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and located just three hundred kilometres from the African continent.Santa Cruz De Tenerife, north east of the island, is its capital, port and commercial metropolis. The Capitania General, which once served as the seat of the island’s military governors, recalls the time of General Franco’s rule. In addition to the Canary’s flora and fauna, the abundant remains of an extinct culture is particularly interesting, the islands’ indigenous people, the Guanches. Well-preserved mummies, which have been found in numerous caves, document their mummification ritual. Puerto De La Cruz is located on the splendid north coast, a city where both old and new combine and with a fishing and harbour district that were founded around five hundred years ago. With its Neo Classical bell tower, the Francia De La Peña Church dominates among palms, oleander and hibiscus. Teide National Park contains solidified boulders of lava and pumice fields that originated from volcanic activity. A huge crater formed around five hundred thousand years ago when the primal Teide Volcano erupted repeatedly. An island born of fire and water where remarkable weather, mysterious volcanoes and deep blue sea determine everyday life and where vegetation and moon landscapes capture the attention. Tenerife is most certainly the priceless pearl of the Canary Islands.

Personal Travel: Siam Park, Tenerife (Canary Island, Spain) 2015!
On our 2nd day in Tenerife, we decided to check out Siam Park which is the most spectacular water attraction in Europe.
It is also considered the the largest man-made wave in the world (about 3 meters (9.8 ft)).
For security reasons & the strict policy of the water park, I wasn't able to film us whilst on the slides as nobody is allowed to use GoPro device without the following accessories: Chest mount harness or Head strap mount.

A New For 91 Days: Tenerife - Our Flight From Valencia To Tenerife South Airport: Ryanair - 737-800
Goodbye Valencia and hello Tenerife, our new For91days location. This is our 21st location we visited for our For 91 Days Travel Blog, which is kind of hard to believe. 21 locations times 3 month = Over 5 years on road since we started in 2010. That's not bad at all.
In this video I captured our flight from Valencia Spain to the Tenerife South Airport flying Ryanair on a Boeing 737-800. A no thrills flight but I made sure to book us exit row seats with a window. The flight was over 3 hours, so we wanted to have a tiny bit of comfort on that low budget flight.
Highlight was definitely when the Teide Mountain of Tenerife appeared at the horizon. The highest mountain of Spain and extremely impressive. Spotting it, poking out of the clouds got us really excited and made us think of all the amazing hikes we will do and all jaw dropping landscapes we're going to encounter.

Excerpts from the DVD from Bob Hodges Transport DVDs, available from bhtransportdvds.co.uk. There are 3 chapters on the DVD, the first follows the Metro Tenerife trams from Santa Cruz, the capital of Tenerife up to the university town of La Laguna, plus scenes from the Line 2 branches to La Cuesta and Tincer. The other 2 chapters are buses on Tenerife and the Mount Teide cable car which climbs almost to the summit of Spain's highest mountain.

The sound on the videos is not as clear as I wanted it to be because the guards put me near the speaker - you had to remain seated all the time (you will see the sitting audience in the end of the video), it was strictly prohibited to stand, but I found a way to remain standing. Regardless the low sound quality you can hear Rhino's and Richie's voices perfectly. They both did these two songs absolutely brilliant. Enjoy! ❤

A taste of the celebration on June 19, 2018, as we ushered in the most exciting era yet at our luxury resort on Tenerife. June 19th and 21st provided the first glimpse of this spectacular new future with two unveiling events held, respectively, in London and Antwerp. These fêtes, well-attended by owners, brokers, journalists, and prospective buyers, revealed new communities as beautiful as they are well-planned, and the response was tremendously positive.

COSTA ADEJE TENERIFE: Best Kept Winter Secret - GF VICTORIA *****
Wow! What an incredible place to visit during winter!!! Here's a quick video and some moments captured from our 2018/2019 Winter and New Year Holiday at the Newly built GF Victoria Hotel in Costa Adeje, Tenerife.
The hotel was amazing, facilities incredible and sitting on the balcony in your shorts watching the New Year fireworks is a memory which will last a lifetime!
Some useful info:
- Don’t book all inclusive. There are so many great restaurants within walking distance that you won’t struggle to eat out a different place every night.
- Beaches are great, sun beds available for hire and a couple of beach bars for drinks and snacks
- The shopping is great. Plaza Del Duque has 3 levels, some high-end designer shops and some more general shops. Few little snack places to eat in their too.
- In Winter the weather was great. Sunbathing all day from 11am until 5pm-ish. Evening was very warm. Easily get away with wearing shorts and t shirt.
I never wore anything but a t shirt on the night and shorts or jeans.

Das elrow Festival auf Teneriffa in Spanien War ein grandioses Erlebnis. Das Techno Event ist orientiert an das Bollywood Thema. Die Party ist bereits ein großer Erfolg auf Ibiza, Mallorca und in Barcelona. 2018 ist das elrow Festival zum ersten Mal auf Teneriffa und ich bin mir sicher das es in 2019 ebenfalls wieder sehen werden.
Das Event hat stattgefunden Im Magma Kunst und Kongresszentrum Auf Teneriffa. Das liegt dierekt bei Playa de las Americas, Tenerife. Im Süden wo alle Hotels auf der Insel sind. Die Tickets werden deutlich teurer je später man bucht. Ich habe mich für das VIP Ticket entschieden. Das hat sich dafür belohnt dass man damit schneller auf das Gelände kommt. Dazu hast du noch einen eigenen Bereich der nicht so überfüllt ist und über dem Gelände liegt. Also so eine Art Aussichtsplattform. Dort gibt es dann noch eine eigene Bar an der man nicht zu lange anstehen muss. Wer sich den Aufpreis sparen will hat aber auch genug Spaß mit dem Standard Ticket.Der beste Teil der Party liegt einfach im gemeinsamen Bereich. Die Party lief von 12:00 Uhr bis 24 Uhr nachts.
