Nagasaki Seaside Park | Day 3
The girls started working at their first school, but the guys and I still had some free time. So we decided to go to Nagasaki Seaside Park and play with a frisbee for a little while. Later in the evening, I went on my first grocery shopping run. Overall, it was an awesome day.

TAke a breather at Nagasaki Seaside Park, located in between Matsugae International Terminal, where the international cruise ships call, and the Dejima Wharf restaurant area.
This is a peaceful place where you can enjoy the fresh sea breeze and fine canals.
Located conveniently close to the downtown area, locals love to come here for walking, running, dog-walking, picnics, yoga and flying Nagasaki’s unique kites. When the international cruise ships cast off for their next destination, locals line up at this park after work to wave off the ship and say “see you again in Nagasaki” to their overseas guests.

Nagasaki Kunchi Festival | 長崎おくんち
October 6th was business as usual. Nothing out of the ordinary occurred. It's hard to believe that only one day later, all of Nagasaki came to life for a 3-day celebration: the Kunchi Festival | 長崎おくんち.
The festival dates back almost 400 years, and it celebrates Nagasaki's multicultural diversity.
After watching a handful of the first series of performances at Suwa Shrine, my friends and I went to try the street food at the Seaside Park.
After two more days of celebrations, business returned to usual. On October 10th, nothing out of the ordinary happened.

On the Mind of Hate and War.
10/03/13-10/06/13
War. Not peace.
Evil. Not good.
Enemies. Not friends or family.
Hate. Not love.
The boy has forced the man's hand. Eternal vendetta and obliterate everything our families have built over generations of blood, sweat and tears with more trauma and agony. Batten down on turmoil; exhaust raw nerve, rage from boiled insides and scrape away lifetimes of potential, until all is lost.
Absent superego, greed, narcissism and psychopathy have poisoned men's souls towards perpetual oblivion for ourselves and everything around us. Each and every disagreeable notion is interpreted in our toxin-tainted minds as an act of aggression. Any and everyone else around is just a waste of space, supplies and air. Care for nothing but our own cowardice and aggressive self-preservation.
... But once we've finally sabotaged the manifest nemesis of our own delusions, our greatest, worthy, equalizing opponent still lies in wait: It's the most relentless enemy you will ever face. It's the most alluring lust your bones will ever desire, the deepest chronic pain you will ever cringe, the most uncontrollable hunger and thirst you will ever crave... and it will never go away.
It's not the devil. It's not those you suspect oppose you. It's not an external enemy. It's not another person or even physicality. It's constantly working to destroy you and you will try to deny it exists until it's too late to even try to fight it. It will remain forever inside, and it will eventually kill you and everyone you have ever known- no surrender, no retreat.
When there's no one left to fight you will resort inside, turn on yourself and self-destruct.

Lol. The sign says no bikes. But where I entered there was no such sign. That's why sometimes you inadvertently break the rules even when you are trying not to. Anyway, felt a touristy place but the prices were shown so didn't feel it would be a robbery.
Unfortunately the uni was really average so it's just disappointing. It's still a good price comparatively but not good enough for Japan. Where are these cheap seafood places. Tabelog shows me these super expensive places. Am I really only waiting for those markets?
No videos for the rest of the day. Forgot to put the camera back on after lunch to the hotel and then went on foot for the rest of the day. A good change of pace tomorrow will be more hilly biking.
