Japan Travel - Okinawa (沖縄) Trip Day 4 Naha City (那覇市)
From Marriott hotel we took a bus back to Naha city. After checking in International Youth Hostel we went for a walk to the city center. We loved browsing the gift shops at vibrant Kokusaidori. We finished a day with a tasty dinner accompanied by live okinawan music at a local izakaya. Another memorable day!

The best way to go around Naha city without driving is traveling by monorail, which gives you a superior access to famous sightseeing spots in Naha city!

This video is from Kokusai Dori, the main shopping street in downtown Naha, and a popular tourist destination.
Filmed on a hot weekday in August 2018 with a Asus Zenfone 5Z in 4K resolution, using a DJI Osmo Mobile 2 handheld gimbal.

Tsuboya district is associated with traditional ceramics like shiisa (lion-dog figures). Lined with shops, bars, and restaurants, Kokusaidori is Naha's main street.

A look at Airport operations in Okinawa. We see a Storm blow through drenching the area. Sometimes the camera is facing towards the City.....

It is Japan's seventh busiest airport and the primary air terminal for passengers and cargo traveling to and from Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, and handles scheduled international traffic to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, and China.

???? Here's a mini feature of the Naminoue Shrine in Naha, Okinawa, located on a small cliff, overlooking the ocean and Naminoue Beach.
It was founded in 1890, and due to its seaside location, the shrine came to be associated with protection of the trading ships coming from mainland Japan, Korea & China.
This video, is a perfect example why I made my new channel - for the little extras. As I didn't plan making this video, and I was almost out of space on my (spare) SD card, which is why it's a little short. But I still thought it would be a shame not to do a video of this nice little place. I hope you'll like it. - Enjoy!
