Busan (Korean pronunciation: [pusan]), formerly romanized as Pusan and now officially Busan Metropolitan City, is South Korea's second most-populous city after Seoul, with a population of over 3.5 million inhabitants.[3] It is the economic, cultural and educational center of southeastern South Korea, with its port—Korea's busiest and the fifth-busiest in the world [a]—only about 190 kilometers (120 mi) from the Japanese islands of Kyushu and Honshu. The surrounding Southeast Economic Zone (including Ulsan and South Gyeongsang) is South Korea's largest industrial area.
Busan is divided into 15 major administrative districts and a single county, together housing a population of approximately 3.6 million. The full metropolitan area, the Southeastern Maritime Industrial Region, has a population of approximately 8 million.[5] The most densely built-up areas of the city are situated in a number of narrow valleys between the Nakdong and the Suyeong Rivers, with mountains separating most of the districts. The Nakdong is Korea's longest river and Busan's Haeundae Beach is also the country's largest.
Busan is a center for international conventions, hosting APEC in 2005. It is also a center for sports tournaments in Korea, having hosted the 2002 Asian Games and FIFA World Cup. It is home to the world's largest department store, the Shinsegae Centum City.[6] Busan was added to the UNESCO Creative Cities Network as a City of Film in December 2014.
Busan Station is a train station in Busan,[1] southeast South Korea, and the southern terminus of the Gyeongbu Line, the most important railway line in the country, which links Busan with Seoul in just under three hours,[2][3] using the KTX line (Korea's high-speed rail system).

Mr. Leo Demay had kept his father’s grave for 10 years until he went back to his motherland on May 31.

We have prepared various programs such as the memorial ceremony to express gratitude for the participation in the Korean War, Waeguan Railroad Bridge Parade where you can participate in person, and Virtual Nakdong River Battle.
We are inviting all of you from the US Army to this year's event at the Chilgok Ecological Park from September 22 to 24.
Free World's soldiers who blocked the world communism making their last ditch effort to defend the liberal democracy at the Nakdong River Front!
Without your sacrifice and support 67 years back, the Korean Peninsula must have become the red territory of the communists.
We hope that the Korea-US blood alliance will be much more consolidated at this opportunity of the Nakdong River World Peace Culture Festival.

Goodbye Seoul, Hello Busan!
Film production studios are relocating from Seoul and the Metropolitan area to Busan. Among them, the expansion of Myung Film is capturing the spotlight as a symbolic change. Myung Film, which was established in 1995, is Korea's major film production studio that has been leading the trends in Korean film industry with blockbusters like [Joint Security Area: JSA] and [Architecture 101]. And the company has established Myung Film Culture Foundation Busan Branch within Busan Film Venture Center. Although it's not the relocation of the company's headquarters, this expansion took place after an MOU with the Busan Film Commission for promoting Busan's film industry and it is expected to have very significant influence. Also, the production studio Secret Garden, the company behind [Re-Encounter] - a film that was invited to be screen in Busan International Film Festival last June - also relocated to Busan as they are preparing to begin a new production.
Some production studios have established detailed plans for relocating to Busan. Ozone Film, which produced [The Virus], which attracted 4.51(million?/Hundred thousand?) movie-goers to the theater early this year, and Hit Box, the joint producer of recently hit [Neighbor] based on original comic book by the cartoonist Kang Pool, will also be relocating to Busan.
Young Film, the producer of [Detective K], Saram Entertainment, the producer of [Fortune Tellers] and Eight Ball, the studio behind [Pacemaker] are all promoting a relocation to Busan to produce films in the city.
The distribution company M-Line, which led the overseas marketing of [Scandal Maker] and [Everything About My Wife] is also planning to set up a distribution office in Busan.
Busan, the city that hosts Asia's leading film festival, is now soaring to greater heights as a film production city that represents Korea and the rest of Asia.
Daegu, South Korea - City, Tower and Seomun Market
This is a video of my trip to South Korea I did in August 2012. Daegu (대구) is the fourth largest city after Seoul, Busan and Incheon, and the third largest metropolitan area in the nation. The city is the capital and principal city of the surrounding Gyeongsangbuk-do province, although it is not legally part of the province. Daegu is located in south-eastern Korea about 80 km from the seacoast, near the Geumho River and its mainstream, Nakdong River in Gyeongsang-do. The Daegu basin, where the city lies, is the central plain of the Yeongnam region, making the city the natural center of the region's politics, economy, and culture.
