Nashua River Trail
More recent version:
From the official site of the trail:
The Nashua River Rail Trail is a former railroad right of way that travels 11 miles through the towns of Ayer, Groton, Pepperell and Dunstable. The trail offers a 10-foot wide paved surface for the entire length, and a five-foot wide gravel equestrian path for seven miles of the trail from Groton Center to the New Hampshire border in Dunstable. The entire trail is open to pedestrians, bicyclists, inline skaters, wheelchairs, and cross-country skiers.
Audio is from The Sumo Project (April 20, 2003, tacks 1 and 6) as found on Archive.
Camera was a Panasonic PV-GS80. Bike was a POS which has since been replaced. Original length of footage was about 55 minutes.

Kayaking the Nashua River (Petapawag Launch to Main St. Pepperell) Pt. 1
I'm putting you in the seat of my kayak as well paddle our way from the Petapawag Launch in Groton, MA to the Waterfall at Pepperell. I recorded these 4K videos just so you can experience what's it's like to be on the water. They are BEST viewed on a 4K Monitor. I also suggest listening to some relaxing music while viewing.
These videos were recorded by my HTC 10, using a Zhiyun Smooth-C Smartphone Stabilizer. Please enjoy and please comment. Thanks!
Protect our Aquifer at Spectacle Pond
This is unhappy hour in Ayer, Mass., to protest the paving over of a 26-acre aquifer that provides drinking water to two towns.
Ayer and Littleton lost a 10-year battle to block Pan Am and Norfolk Southern Railroads from paving over the aquifer. Pan Am has an abysmal environmental record. It cannot be given the keys to our aquifer.
Pan Am owns a similar parking lot 1/4 mile away, which they have leased to CSX, a competitor, until 2017.
We are asking Senators Kennedy and Kerry, Rep. Tsongas and Gov. Patrick and corporations in the region who use the water -- Aquafina, Pepsi, VeryFine, Nasoya -- to intervene and protect our aquifer from known polluters.

Pepperell Massachusetts (MA) Real Estate Tour
Tour Pepperell, MA neighborhoods, condominium developments, subdivisions, schools, landmarks, recreational areas, and town offices.
Pepperell, Massachusetts is situated northwest of Boston in rolling hill country at the junction of the Nissitissit and Nashua Rivers adjacent to the New Hampshire border. Once a thriving mill town and farming community, Pepperell boasts two paper mills and a braiding factory still in operation in the east village section.
Bypassed by major transportation routes, the town is more rural and less developed than other area communities and has become a predominantly commuter suburb. Uniquely among towns in eastern Massachusetts, Pepperell features large tracts of undeveloped land along with three 200-acre farms; residents take pride in Pepperell's unspoilt rual ambiencece and close-knit character.
Pepperell takes pride in its many unique attractions and annual festivities. Pepperell spring water, first place quality winner the 1939 World's Fair, continues to be sold by commercial bottling companies. The Warrant Veterans Fireman's Association owns and showcases antique firefighting equipment throughout New England, while the volunteer fire department hosts a firemen's muster annually in August. A day-long Fourth of July celebration, a 300-team soccer tournament that brings in over 50,000 people in October, homemade ice-cream and what residents boast of as the cleanest, best trout fishing river in the state are all enjoyed by Pepperell residents and visitors alike.
