Nerja, Spain
Nerja is a municipality on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain.
Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing.
Nerja has an amazing average of 300 days of sunshine and the sea temperature is often over 20°C even in November.
Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums.
The heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa the Balcony of Europe, a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below.
Nerja's most spectacular attraction its caves, located three kilometres from the centre of town. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other pre-historic remains.

Marina Del Este and Nerja - Diving on the Costa Tropical
The Costa Tropical has a number of protected bays to satisfy both beginner divers and the more experienced. Lying at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, this rocky shoreline hosts a variety of marine life. Huge rocks protrude from the cliff face. Of particular interest is the rich marine life on the vertical walls, where sponges and soft corals show off their colors.

Hej alla! Till att börja med så ber vi om ursäkt för den dåliga uppdateringen. Det har varit mycket i skolan, vi har inte haft någon motivation och det har varit strul med att få upp den här videon. Men nu har vi jullolv så då ska vi försöka uppdatera mycket. I den här videon så åker Iris till Nerja i Spanien och filmar även där.
