Wow... the Arenal Volcano (Volcan Arenal) in Costa Rica hiking tour was amazing. We were greeted at our hotel at 2:30pm by Canoa Adventuras. Our driver and volcano hike tour guide loaded us into the van (we had a private tour!!! Nobody else was with us).
As soon as we got in the van it started POURING down, like can't see out the front window raining. On the way to the Arenal volcano hiking tour, we stopped on a side street and saw a sloth with it's baby. Still pouring, getting soaked.
We kept driving around to the black side of the Arenal Volcano (from our hotel we face the green side and it's always covered at the top by clouds). No joke, as soon as we turned into Arenal Volcano National Park the sky cleared up!!!
Here is a video documentary of our 2 hour hike to several lookout points highlighting both Lago Arenal and Volcan Arenal. We saw coffee plants, pineapples, a movie set from a Will Smith movie, beautiful birds, a seismograph, wildlife, and beautiful scenery.
After our Arenal Volcano tour they took us somewhere else, you're going to have to click the link here (once I get it uploaded)... super fun! Keep checking back, I'll get the video up as soon as I can.
If you liked the video, please comment and hit that like button. And hit up Canoa Adventura if you're ever in Costa Rica and want to see some cool sights (canoa-aventura.com).
Enjoy!
