The Norman Bird Sanctuary is listed on the National Register of Historical Places and has seven miles of hiking trails.

In this video I take you through the amazing hiking trails of the Norman Bird Sanctuary in Middletown Rhode Island. The sanctuary offers amazing views throughout all of their family friendly trails. This is in my opinion a must do when visiting Rhode Island.
(There are some rocks to climb to get to where I filmed on the cliff)

NBS is looking for volunteers to greet visitors, answer phones, ring in sales, and help with administrative tasks in their Welcome Center. Junior Achievement of Rhode Island (Providence) — JA Inspire Volunteers
JARI needs volunteers for JA Inspire, a career exploration event at the RI Convention Center on November 20 & 21 from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. They need greeters to board busses, provide an overview of the event, and assist with disembarkation. They also need exhibit hall monitors to prevent students from congregating, as well as individuals fluent in Spanish and Portuguese to translate for students if needed. Attempted murder in a Welcome Center off I 295 in Rhode Island! While this inquisitive black snake may look harmless as it slithers into an open window of a rest stop, it was actually looking for a way to enter the portable air conditioning unit on the wall. Apparently, there was a bird's nest in the unit with newly hatched eggs. ATTEMPTED MURDER IN A WELCOME CENTER!
