The Nundle Woollen Mill is on the search to find the Most Creative Yarnista in Australia. Go to our Facebook post at to register. In 25 words of less state what you would create and why you should win the 9 balls of Nundle Yarn and the chance to participate in our Most Creative Yarnista Challenge. Just 9 knitters will be chosen - those 9 with the highest number of LIKES against their comment will vie for the challenge.

Nundle Woollen Mill Search for Australia's Most Creative Yarnista winner is DELL NOLAN.
Nine finalists were chosen in an online poll to compete in the Nundle Woollen Mill Search for Australia's Most Creative Yarnista. They were given nine balls of Nundle wool and five weeks to come up with a creative submission. Fans were invited to vote and the nine super creative submissions. Dell Nolan's Tom Kat was the resounding winner. When asked to share the inspiration behind her submission Dell said....
Not one to stick to traditional colour schemes, patterns and ideas, I prefer to follow my heart and push the boundaries of what is perceived as normal crochet work. I do not follow any set pattern, rather create as i go. I was influenced to a degree by Alice in Wonderland, specifically Tim Burton's take on the novel in his film. As a result my art is vibrant and original. The resulting artwork in this case is Ruben, a colourful crochet Tom cat.
