RIDING VIETNAM'S SCENIC NORTH WEST MOUNTAINS Adventure Oz
Day 8 on the Top Gear Tour with Vietnam Motorbike Tours! Epic riding in the remote north west of Vietnam, and its corners, climbs, corners, descents and more corners as we explore the Moc Chau plateau. It's pure bucket list riding and the best way to see the real Vietnam. There are thousands of beautiful valleys across Vietnam and we stayed in one of them last night. But no rest for the wicked, it's time to endure the daily commute as our slave driver issues the order. And what a way to commute. Mist covered mountains, terraced rice fields, cool mountain air. Tough life for Vietnam Motorbike Tours, but someone has to do it. This is the perfect way to see the real Vietnam.
Alrighty then, day eight. What's on the agenda? According to our itinerary, we leave the green embrace of Mai Chau valley in the morning. With the mists rising off the paddy fields, we hit the road and head higher into the northwest mountains. Check. What else? As we arrive on the Moc Chau plateau the trees fade away to reveal acres of tea plantations. This area is famous for its excellent brew. Okay, well I coffee but I don't mind riding past tea plantations. What else? The temperatures drop as we ride higher. The landscape becomes barren and bare, making it appear isolated and remote. Indeed, this part of Vietnam was a special semi-autonomous zone until the late 20th century. It's certainly a day of elevation changes with Vietnam Motorbike Tours and I suspect we are riding up and down this plateau throughout the day. Exceptional views, picturesque valleys. Loving it. And now yet another word from our culturally inappropriate sponsor. Lets see if the guys are happy with the trip so far or plotting a class action lawsuit.
Plenty of water in Vietnam. And there are plenty of dams too, many of these generate hydroelectricity and around 70% of Vietnam's electricity is generated that way. And somewhere around here is the biggest hydoelectric scheme in Indochina. We are riding in the dry season with Vietnam Motorbike Tours but it still rains occasionally. Over the 10 day trip we just got some light rain for one morning. Apparently they guys get asked a lot about when is the best time to ride Vietnam, and it actually doesn't matter that much. Weather patterns vary a lot from north to south, and the guys based themselves kind of in the middle at Nha Trang because it offers the best year round riding. And they vary the destinations to suit. For example the monsoonal storms up north mean tours like ours that finish in Hanoi are only run for a few months of the year. Corners, corners and more corners. I figure we are climbing the plateau again and it's hard to keep your eyes on the road with views like this. Another awesome day with Vietnam Motorbike Tours and we pull into another classy hotel in Son La, a highland town with a real buzz. Stick around for more adventures in the real vietnam.

Vietnam Travel Guide: Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ho Chi Minh
Gorgeous beaches, fascinating and complicated history, incredible food, lush nature; Vietnam is a country that truly has it all. Whether this country is first or fiftieth on your list, our travel guide has all the information you need to know if you’re planning (or dreaming of planning!) a trip to Vietnam.
Leave your expectations behind if you’re heading to Vietnam: here, you’ll eat noodles for breakfast, do your shopping in the middle of the night, and discover a country with a new story around every corner.
Hanoi more than delivers on urban excitement. If you’re looking for unique and mouth-watering food, the night markets of the Vietnamese capital should be your very first stop. You can enjoy a zippy ride on a scooter, all the street-food you can eat, and a night exploring the rapid development of this modern city. From trendy clubs to traditional puppet shows, experience a nightlife that’s all Vietnam’s own, and eat and drink the night away with locals and visitors alike!
Of course, Vietnam isn’t all fast-paced cities and rooftop bars. For a slower pace, head to Ha Long Bay and sail alongside limestone islets, with their lush rainforests towering above your head. The water is emerald-green, matching the vibrant greenery, and a sailing excursion here is like nothing else you’ve experienced before! A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the islets of Ha Long Bay are said have been thrown into the bay by a dragon protecting the people of Vietnam. Take a junk boat tour for a close encounter, or try scuba diving or snorkelling in the bay!
You’ll find a new adventure around every corner in Vietnam. From breakfast in the Bình Tây Market and a secret tunnel system in Ho Chi Minh City, to sailing along the Mekong Delta in a traditional basket boat, you can find your perfect trip - no matter what that looks like - somewhere in Vietnam.
There’s no time like the present to start planning an adventure of your own in this majestic country, so why not start today? Head over to TourRadar to explore the range of tours available, or watch more of our videos exploring Vietnam if you still haven’t gotten enough of seeing the beautiful views and incredible adventures you could be having.

Diamond Princess Cruise Vlog: Nha Trang Vietnam
Hey cruisers!
The excursion featured in this vlog was booked through ShipMate App. Don't forget to check out reviews, tips and photos with our wonderful sponsor:
Today we are visiting Nha Trang Vietnam on our Diamond Princess Asia Cruise vlog series. On this Diamond Princess cruise we'll cover 2800 nautical miles and visit Tokyo, Shimizu, Osaka, Taipei (Keelung), Hong Kong, Nha Trang & Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Vietnam, and Singapore.
Nha Trang is a tender port, so we start off this vlog ... you guessed it, boarding a tender. The trip ashore was quite scenic, and indeed fascinating. We got a peek at the tram that takes guests to Vin Pearl amusement park. From the crazy ship traffic to the mesmerizing tram overhead it's a jaunt that's unlikely to bore you. We booked our own excursion through ShipMate App on this visit to Vietnam, so we weren't part of the usual stream of cruisers heading for buses. Instead we wandered off into what seemed like a deserted harbor. Happily we were able to regroup and gather enough information to get where we needed to go. We met our friendly guide, and traversed the storm damaged streets to rendezvous with our speedboat captain. The speedboat trip was very cool, and gave us a unique view of Nha Trang. Our first stop was La Ixa, a fun little place for all kinds of water activities. We were happy just jumping off the dock, because the current was too strong to snorkel. The next stop was Mini Beach. Mini Beach is a beautiful little resort. We had the place to ourselves for the first part of the day. We had a terrific time frolicking in the waves, swimming and generally just enjoying being together as a family. A delicious Vietnamese lunch was provided at Mini Beach, and I must say it was just fantastic. It was simple, but fresh and so satisfying. After lunch, a few more guests arrived, and brought the parasail adventures with them. We had fun watching people parasail, but decided early on that we weren't going to partake in the fun this time around. This was a beautiful day, and will long be a time we'll look back on and remember as a special family adventure. From the thoughtful conversations with our guide to the family races on the beach, it was another remarkable adventure on our Princess Cruises voyage to Asia. Thanks for joining us for this cruise vlog as we travel to Japan for our Diamond Princess Asia Cruise. We've got much more Asia cruise adventures ahead. We'll have some Asia cruise tips, more cruise vlogs from Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Singapore.

Vietnam's First Capital & Cycling Adventure in Ninh Binh ???????? (English Subtitles)
When getting a chance to visit Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam in Ninh Binh province, visitors in Vietnam tourism should take time to visit Dinh and Le Temples where Kings of Dinh and Le Dynasties are worshiped. These two temples in the shape of Chinese character were built in 17th century.
The mountains and sea combined to make Hoa Lu ancient capital’s picturesque landscape. Hoa Lu lays in a flat valley surrounded by the Trang An lime stone mountains, which form a natural wall protecting the old citadel. The city’s northwest is bordered by the Hoang Long River, the tributaries of which run through the capital, cooling the weather within the city and serving as convenient waterways.
Certainly, you’ll find a lot of Ninh Binh cycling tours on the internet. A quick search reveals that bike trips depart from Hanoi for around 750,000 VND ($32.50/£25) per person. This is for a day trip. For around that price you can also get a dorm room, bicycle hire for 2-days and bus tickets there and back from Hanoi. I’d rather have the time to explore the area than be rushed around on a tour, but it’s a personal thing.
Train Ride in Vietnam | Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to Nha Trang Train Route Transportation Journey
In our latest travel video we board a train from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) en route to Nha Trang marking our first train ride in Vietnam. Naturally, given our passion for train travel over all other modes of transportation, we were on edge with excitement. At first we were quite confused which cart to board given that numerous carts had the same number as ours. In Vietnam, there are a number of carriages reserved for private companies, such as ET Pumpkin and Eastern Oriental, which added to our confusion.

Even the ticket attendant had us shuffling around from cart to cart until we finally settled on the proper one and sat down at our seats. The train was packed and aside from a European couple seated next to us were the only foreigners on board. One thing we instantly noticed was that the trains weren't maintained as well as some of the others we've been on in Asia. Our seat cushion was frayed and the reclining option was broken. Regardless, we were still thrilled to be taking a train trip as opposed to being on a bus.
The journey itself was one of the most scenic I've been on in a long time.
The diversity in landscapes was quite impressive as we passed through regions that were covered by lush jungle, farmland, arid desert, flat and mountainous terrain. At times, I would get out of my seat and head outside of my carriage so that I could just feel the wind blowing in my face as I captured footage with my camcorder and just spent moments enjoying it with my naked eyes.
We loaded up on some local snacks at a small bakery in Saigon; however, we found ourselves eating plenty of Vietnamese options served on the train. Vietnamese Attendants pushing carts of various snacks and coffee were a frequent occurrence throughout our journey.
One of our favorite snacks in Vietnam is iced coffee and spring rolls. The process of serving the iced coffee was rather fascinating as condensed milk was first poured into the cup followed by coffee/sugar and finally crushed ice. It's a far more meticulous process than I ever imagined; I must say I have lot more respect for the process of preparing an iced coffee in Vietnam.
Overall the journey took 7 hours to complete; however, we didn't find it nearly that long as we spent a good bulk of the journey nodding off:

Nha Trang Vietnam - Bikini Mud Bath
Our first time in a mud bath was in Nha Trang Vietnam. During our Vietnam bikini mud bath experience we soaked and played in a mud bath to relax after a long day of exploring the province of Khánh Hòa Vietnam. We motorbiked around the Nha Trang countryside and drove along the most amazing beaches in Vietnam.
First we rented a motorbike and left our hotel in Nha Trang beach. Getting outside of the main tourist district in Nha Trang was important to us, so we decided to drive up the coast and see what local life is like here in Vietnam. We stumbled upon a small fishing village about 20 minutes north of Nha Trang Vietnam where we could observe local fisherman and life in the town. Our favorite thing to do is witness local life while traveling, but it’s not always possible.
In Nha Trang travel by motorbike is the best way to get around. Traffic isn’t as bad as Saigon or Hanoi, but it’s definitely enough to slow you down. We suggest doing what we did, rent a motorbike and get out of town if you’re looking for different things to do in Nha Trang besides parties and beach life.
After a long day on the bike, we were so excited to try a Vietnam spa experience so we went to the Nha Trang mud bath! We chose the original mud bath spa in Nha Trang called Thap Ba Spa. It was both of our first time in a mud bath, so we didn’t quite know what to expect. We’ll take you through the entire Vietnam bikini mud bath experience and tell you how much everything is in the video. This was easily our best day in Nha Trang!
If you’re looking for the best places in Vietnam, I would put Nha Trang on your list for a beach holiday. It’s a great place to relax, as Nha Trang has one of the best beaches in Vietnam. We genuinely thought the Thap Ba Spa should be on the Nha Trang best attractions list and can recommend it as an affordable, fun time off the beach. If you’re looking for different things to do in Vietnam, a mud bath is a great experience that we suggest highly. We hope you liked this Nha Trang travel vlog. We have more Vietnam videos on the way so make sure you subscribe!

VLOG IN OU, Nha Trang - Vietnam - vlog de calatorie ep. 53
E asa frumos in calatorii!

Ha Long Bay: Vietnam's Paradise | Travel Vietnam
Ha Long Bay is Vietnam's paradise. It's the number 1 toursist destination in this country. When you travel to Vietnam, this has to be on your list. Halong Bay is littered with limestone islands that form a landscape unparalleled in its beauty and uniqueness. You will want to take a boat tour to see all these islets and islands scattered across the ocean. Also, a bonus: I found the absolute best spot in Ha Long Bay to take a photo of an amazing view. The place is called Poem Mountain, and I take you there. Just watch.

Diamond Princess Asia Cruise Review - Shimizu
Don't forget to check out reviews, tips and photos visit our wonderful sponsor:
Hey Cruisers,
It's time to visit Shimizu on our Diamond Princess Asia Cruise. This is our second day of our 12 night cruise, during which we'll cover 2800 nautical miles and visit Tokyo, Shimizu, Osaka, Taipei (Keelung), Hong Kong, Nha Trang & Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Vietnam, and Singapore.
We start off this cruise vlog bright and early in the morning with a stunning view of beautiful Mt Fuji. Jet lag had us both up early, and we lucked out with a truly awesome vista of Mount Fuji. After coffee and a quick breakfast we were off to explore the charming port of Shimizu. We had some fun with the local vendors and townspeople that came out to greet us, and then we headed off to visit the S-Pulse Dream Plaza. S-Pulse Dream Plaza is a shopping center by the seaside where visitors can enjoy shopping, gourmet food and entertainment. It seemed like there was so much to do there. Of course there are the shops and restaurants, but there are other attractions like the Ferris Wheel. From the Dream Sky Ferris Wheel magnificent views of the World Heritage site Mount Fuji can be seen across Suruga Bay on sunny days. There are also fun rides and games for kids. After shopping, and making friends with shopkeepers, it was time for lunch. We were a little nervous about trying to order food in Japanese, but it wasn't a problem at all. Everyone was super nice, and very patient with us. Our port day went by quickly, and before long it was time to return to the ship. The lovely people on shore gave us a beautiful send off, and sadly our time in Shimizu was over. Some days, we like to do it all, but this day was all about NOT having a plan. As the Diamond Princess pulled into this friendly port city, we were immediately amazed by the friendly hospitality of the locals. Many brought their pets to port to greet us, and the send-off musical performance brought tears to my eyes. Despite a severe lack of sleep, this day was one of the sweetest on our Princess Cruises voyage to Asia. Thanks for joining us for this day 1 cruise vlog as we travel to Japan for our Diamond Princess Asia Cruise. We've got much more Asia cruise adventures ahead. We'll have some Asia cruise tips, more cruise vlogs from Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Singapore.

Nha Trang Day 3 - A Good Weather and End of Journey
Check out our Vlog for Day 3 - Nha Trang
+++++
20 November 2017 - We woke up to a very bright, sunny and clear weather. A total opposite to the weather on our second day.
We went to the beach before riding to a souvenir shop to look for souvenirs.
Since we had only limited time, we then rode to the cable car station to see the cable car that ferry people to Vinpearl Amusement Park. We were so sad that we could not go on our second day due to the bad weather. It is so easy to go to the cable car station. Just go all the way up from the main road and you will arrive at the cable car station after passing through some hilly area.
Then, we rode back to the hotel area and had our breakfast at A&M Fast Food, the only halal fast food restaurant and one of the four halal eateries that we found here.
After breakfast, we proceeded to check out (a special shoutout to Dzuliza Suleman) and went straight to the airport.
After we arrived at klia2, we went back home for me to pack some clothes and I continued driving to Ipoh for work.
Will I come back to Nha Trang if given a chance? - Definitely, yes!

Original Musical Score by: Josh Kopeček
“It’s a story of wild & exotic love. It’s a story of tribal kings and opium trade. It’s a story of kidnapping and loss. It’s a story of sexual discovery, of spirits and magic. It’s a story of government propaganda vs. the fascinating yet harrowing reality of the people.”
Far up in Vietnam’s remote mountains, once a year, a secretive Love Market is held. Delving beyond the ambiguous myths, this unique, independently produced adventure documentary discovers a reality much more fascinating, even if painful, than the legends told.

A Day in the Life Living in Vietnam
A kind of regular day of my life as an English teacher in Vietnam. I ran some errands, chilled at the beach, and taught my class from home. Hope this helps give you an idea of what your life might be like if you lived here.

- LIFE UPDATE -
After six months, at the end of February, we moved out of our awesome apartment in Saigon. We enjoyed living there very much, but we felt like we wanted to change things up. Jake and I both work online and are not tied down anywhere with our job. We wanted to take advantage of that opportunity while we could and have a new experience.
These past two weeks, I've been traveling the Philippines and that is the reason I haven't been posting videos lately. Sorry for the slacking, but I couldn't keep up! I don't understand how people travel full time, vlog, post videos often, and still manage to look like they're enjoying their vacation. I have A LOT of editing to catch up on. Expect to see some great Philippines vlogs soon!
For the remainder of the month, we'll be here in Da Nang so expect to see more Vietnam videos as well! Starting April, we are moving to Bali! And of course I will be making Indonesia travel videos and videos on expat life in Bali.
There's a lot to look forward to with all the new content. Even when I'm not living in Vietnam anymore, I will still be making videos about expat life here, because I felt I have learned a lot during my time here. I hope you guys will stick around to see what's next. I appreciate all the love and support I have been receiving from you guys so far and I hope to continue to make videos to inspire and help people!

Vietnam Tour VLOG 3 - CON DAO
