Aaron Sagers travels to Hawaii to visit the sets of Jurassic World on Oahu to discuss the production, and the impact on the island. Along the way, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jurassic World production coordinator Jess Cole, Honolulu Zoo director Baird Fleming, and Kualoa president John Morgan weigh in.
Kualoa ATV Tour Movie Route, Oahu, Hawaii, USA
During our stay in Hawaii in September 2015 we decided to explore the spectacular landscape of the Kualoa Ranch (known from the Movie locations of Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, Godzilla and a lot of other movies) by an ATV tour called Movie Route at Kualoa Ranch, Oahu, Hawaii.
Sorry for some raindrops on the lense. Keep on - the most interesting parts of the tour are without rain.
You drive through the very scenic landscape and get some breaks on different movie sets and spots. Your tour leader shows and explains anything.
We liked it very much and would recommend it to everybody who likes to drive by ATV. There are other different options by bus, boat or horse riding as well. The Kualoa team was very professional and friendly.

If this place looks familiar to you it’s because Kualoa Ranch is most famous for being the movie location for over 70 Hollywood movies since the 1950s – Jumanji, Kong Skull Island, Pearl Harbour, Godzilla, 50 First Dates and of course … Jurassic Park!

Hawaii is my happy place. I feel overwhelmed and lost in the beauty of the islands. This time I ventured to picturesque corners of Oahu. I tied to spent more time away from the city and visit some secluded areas. There is so much to discover and weather is always perfect. Even when it rains - I love it .
Recorded in 4K on GoPro Hero4 Black Edition with Feiyu Tech G4 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal. Edited in Sony Movie Studio 13.

Getting #LOST On Beautiful Oahu Island, Hawaii - 2016 (HD 1080p)
What starts out as a typical vacation on Oahu turns into an adventure into the TV series #LOST. Thanks to Thom at Hawaiian Escapades for the tour and special thanks to Gayl Hardie for help with filming all these scenes.

Established in 1850, Kualoa is a 4,000-acre working cattle ranch, spread from the steep mountain cliffs to the sparkling sea. Located on the northeastern side of Oʻahu in the Hawaiian countryside, it is 45 minutes from Honolulu. The ranch terrain varies from dense rainforest to broad open valleys and from beautiful white sand beaches to verdant cliff faces. It is truly a paradise for outdoor recreation with many places accessible only by horseback, on an all-terrain vehicle, or by hiking. -
Finding the Jurassic Park Gate in Hawaii 4K

The location of the Jurassic Park gate is on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. It requires an off-roading vehicle and some serious patience. The gate is not actually there anymore, but it is still so amazing to see how deep into the jungle they went to get the perfect shot for the 1993 film. This adventure has been on my bucket list for a few years now and I’m so glad I finally had the opportunity to do it. The trail was much worse than we expected and was nearly impassable. We made it, though!

THE DIRECTIONS:
1. On the island of Kauai, put the Keahua Arboretum in your GPS. Go there.
2. You should now be at bridge. Cross over this and continue straight until you get to a fork. To the right should be a sign for the Powerline Trail. You are not going that way. Go left at this fork.
3. You will eventually reach a large, very obvious spillway. You will need to cross this if the river is low enough. Disclaimer: be mindful of the possibility of flash flooding!
4. Drive for a while on this path. There comes a point where you can only make a left or a right. Go right.
5. At the next fork, make a left. (You should see a sign about hunting posted on the tree in the middle of this fork).
6. Eventually, you will pass a rusty old yellow gate on your left. If you see this, you are on the correct path. Congrats!
7. Keep going straight and you will arrive at the two poles that look like they could be the old posts that held up the gates. This is NOT the location. Drive through these poles another 300 feet and you will be there. There’s nothing to indicate this, but you can find some pictures online with good side-by-side comparison shots to confirm this. As of 2018, it is a very dense, overgrown area.
8. BONUS: if you keep driving, you will eventually reach a large area for parking. This is the location of the T-Rex paddock (not featured in this video).
