A quick fly over the large steel truss rail bridge over the Wilsons River in South Lismore, in which we explore the huge steel spans, some 100 years old.
Unfortunately the bridges all steel structure meant it messed up the drone's GPS positioning system and compass. This meant we had to terminate the flight early for safety reasons. Attempting to take off surrounded by steel sleepers also did not help the cause.
In accordance with CASA regulation, the drone did not exceed a height of 45m at any point during both filming or flight. The aircraft was grounded after experiencing interference from the surrounding structures.
