YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK | GRAND CANYON OF YELLOWSTONE | LOWER FALLS | GRAND VIEW | RV LIFE | EP 81
NORTH RIM OF GRAND CANYON OF YELLOWSTONE, LOWER FALLS, LOOKOUT POINT, GRAND VIEW AND INSPIRATION POINT ALL IN WYOMING.
ℹ️About the episode: We took North Rim Drive along the Yellowstone River, which is a one-way loop that first hits the Lower Falls, then Look Out Point and ends at the Grand View. From there you can head further up to Inspiration Point on a two-way road. This is a scenic drive made in heaven.
The Grand View is a spectacular view of the Yellowstone River. It’s the force of this river that created the canyon and the falls, by water erosion rather than the result of glacial movement. It is the best location to view the canyon in BOTH directions.
Inspiration Point is a natural observation point on a steep cliff. This is on the north rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone…. just east of Yellowstone Falls on the Yellowstone River.
Don’t decide to “skip” walking DOWN the switchbacks to the LOWER FALLS. I almost did because I was “running on empty” this day. But knowing what I know now, this would have been a huge mistake. You do NOT want to miss seeing in person the power, and flow of this beautiful water. It is magical.

Hiking in Yellowstone - Artist's & Storm Points
Hiking in Yellowstone. First, an early morning drive on the Park Loop Road north from Bridge Bay to the Hayden Valley where bison frequently cross the highway resulting in some long traffic backups. Further north to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone area at the far end of the South Rim is Artist’s Point, an observation point offering a scenic view of the colorful canyon walls and the Lower Falls in the distance. In 2018 the South Rim trail is closed for a massive restoration project and Artist’s Point is the only access point on the South Rim. To the east of Fishing Bridge (and more road construction) is Storm Point trail to Yellowstone Lake and a rocky ledge providing great views of this lake, the largest high elevation (7,000+ ft above sea level) freshwater lake in North America.
Artist Point, Yellowstone National Park (Trip 3 Vid 8) United States
I stop at the very beautiful Artist Point along the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Beautiful view of the Lower Falls from this location.
Day 32 Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park & Beartooth Highway USA Road Trip Part 2
Today I visit 2 of the Best National Parks, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park (my opinion, not fact). And then we exited Yellowstone on the most scenic route which is Beartooth Highway. Nothing compares to it.
All 3 locations have amazing untouched nature that will blow your mind and make you wonder where all this beauty came from. With places like Jenny Lake Trail, Inspiration Point and Hidden Falls in the Grand Tetons, and then amazing places like Old Faithful,Yellowstone lake and the amazing bison, elk and bears in both parks you cannot go wrong.
Then Beartooth Highway takes you up and into the highest peaks of the country and you can drive all the way up to almost 11,000 ft and then back down the switchbacks. It is quite and experience. And you have to be sure to visit the [Clay Butte Lookout, Top of the World Store, Beartooth Lake, The Bear’s Tooth and the 45th Parallel. Beartooth is also part of highway 212 if you were wondering.
Let's start a movement. Traveling before or while in college should be commonplace and expected. The power of travel is life-changing and has the potential to enhance society overall. When you travel you learn AMAZING things about yourself, the people around you, the world around you and the opportunities there are.
Without travel I argue that you will never realize your fullest potential because there is so much that you are missing out. Traveling even the smallest of distances will change the way your mind thinks and lead to what society needs most, people who have found a passion, are pursuig it and discovering breakthrough technologies, theories, lifestyles, careers and more.
In Europe this is already commonplace to take a semester, summer, month or year off to explore the EU before or during college. I want to make it commonplace in the United States of America as well. It is possible to do it on any budget and I help people learn how to make it a reality. Find out more at:

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK | MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS | WHITEWATER RAFTING| HORSEBACK | RV LIVING | EP83
MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS IS A MUST SEE AREA BECAUSE IT’S SO DIFFERENT THAN ALL THE OTHER GEYSERS IN YELLOWSTONE! ℹ️About the episode: Many areas are connected by boardwalks, so viewing them is easy and safe. They differ from the other springs in the park because they are mainly depositing limestone. This relatively soft mineral allows the rock deposited from the springs to accumulate, grow and form much faster than other formations created by the harder minerals. The shapes of these formations are constantly changing. There are over 50 hot springs throughout the area.
Sue signed up for a scenic float trip on the Yellowstone River at Flying Pig Adventure Company, in Gardiner, Montana. When she arrived, there weren’t enough signed up for that trip, so she immediately jumped onto their most popular rafting adventure “The 8 Mile Trip”. She was assured it was the perfect beginner white water river rafting trip, and it was!
The next day, Sue was still hungry for adventure, so she went Horseback Riding at the Diamond P Ranch, in West Yellowstone, Montana. Her 3 hour trail ride up into the elevated hillside in the distance was $85.

Mount Washburn - Yellowstone National Park
#yellowstonehikes #yellowstonenationalpark #mtwashburntrail
The Mt Washburn trail in Yellowstone National leads to one of three lookout stations that offer sweeping views of the world first national park.
Beginning at Dunraven Pass follow the old wagon trail. Along the way enjoy the mind-boggling views of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Hayden Valley, Yellowstone Lake and the pine forests that dominate Yellowstone's landscape.
One a clear day, expect views of more than 90 miles. From the top, you'll be able to survey almost the entirety of the Yellowstone Caldera, the massive 50-mile wide scar, left behind by Yellowstone's prehistoric eruptions.
6.4 miles out and back and roughly 1400 feet of ascent, this hike is suitable for intermediate to advanced hikers. But warning, Yellowstone is prime bear country. Stay alert, hike in groups and know how to respond to a bear encounter.
