OCEANSIDE CA ~ California Coast City, San Diego County
July 17, 2012. This video footage is mostly around the Oceanside Small Craft Harbor, showing boats and ships of the area, the Oceanside Fishing Pier, WWII Pearl Harbor Memorial, The Jolly Roger Restaurant on the water. Very good food there to eat and a nice scenic window view of the harbor.
I saw boats as small as canoes (which really looks fun to paddle a canoe), to large fishing boats / vessels passing through with tourists and others.
It appears the fishermen of the Oceanside Fishing Pier are trying to catch sharks and stingrays and whatever. I saw some catching fish like perch, sea bass, ones like that.
I think there's a US Naval Station somewhere not far away, but maybe another time. I had to get moving along from southern California back to Arizona.
