8 MOST Haunted Pubs in England
Hey stranger,
In this video we dive into eight of the most haunted pubs in the U.K., specifically England, which are also (naturally) some of the oldest pubs in the U.K.
Witness the ghosts of smugglers, soldiers, duelers, jealous lovers, and many MANY children. And while all children are insanely frightening, ghost children are the MOST terrifying.
These are England's 8 MOST haunted pubs:
8. Marsden Grotto, Tyne+Wear
7. Yew Old Tree, Kent
6. Ye Olde Kings Head, Chester
5. The Devil’s Stone, Devon
4. Ancient Ram, Gloucs.
3. Ostrich, Slough, Berks.
2. Golden Fleece, York
1. Red Lion, Avebury, Wilts.

The Old Kings Head - Chester
The following recording was made at The Old Kings Head, Chester, Myself (Paul Rowland) and Julie Parry were in Room 1 and as usual chatting about various things as we regularly do as an investigation procedure.
During this time a new EVP machine (code name Steam Punk) was operating.
To most of our conversations nothing happened, but when the film Poltergeist was mentioned a reaction took place.
The camcorder was not set in night vision mode so there is only audio of interest.
The blue light is a quartz crystal in which audio modulated light containing all audio within the room can be heard.
The unusual burst of noise came from the machine.
Unfortunately the tape ran out as this recoding finished.
I am extremely grateful to Harry Achilleos, the owner of the Old Kings Head who kindly allows me access for paranormal investigation.

Places to see in ( Chester le Street - UK )
Places to see in ( Chester le Street - UK )
Chester-le-Street is a town in County Durham, England. Its history goes back to the building of a Roman fort called Concangis. This Roman fort is the Chester (from the Latin castra) of the town's name; the Street refers to the paved Roman road that ran north–south through the town, and which is now called Front Street (shown at right).
Chester-le-Street is located 7 miles (11 km) south of Newcastle upon Tyne and 8 miles (13 km) west of Sunderland on the River Wear. The parish church of St Mary and St Cuthbert is where the body of St Cuthbert remained for 112 years before being transferred to Durham Cathedral, and the site of the first translation of the Gospels into English, Aldred writing the Old English gloss between the lines of the Lindisfarne Gospels there.
A market town, markets are held on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Until 2009 the town had its own local government district. This was formed by the amalgamation in 1974 of the former Chester-le-Street Urban and Rural Districts. It was abolished in 2009 when Durham became a unitary authority as part of the 2009 structural changes to local government in England, a move that was controversial at the time.
John Leland described Chester-le-Street in the 1530s as Chiefly one main street of very mean building in height., a sentiment echoed by Daniel Defoe. St Mary and St Cuthbert church possesses a rare surviving anchorage, one of the best-preserved in the country. It was built for an anchorite, an extreme form of hermit. His or her walled-up cell had only a slit to observe the altar and an opening for food, while outside was an open grave for when the occupant died. It was occupied by six anchorites from 1383 to c. 1538, and is now a museum known as the Anker's House. The north aisle is occupied by a line of Lumley family effigies, only five genuine, assembled circa 1590. Some have been chopped off to fit and resemble a casualty station at Agincourt, according to Sir Simon Jenkins in his England's Thousand Best Churches. It is Chester-le-Street's only Grade I listed building.
The viaduct to the northwest of the town centre was completed in 1868 for the North Eastern Railway, to enable trains to travel at high speed on a more direct route between Newcastle and Durham. It is over 230m long with 11 arches, now spanning a road and supermarket car-park, and is a Grade II listed building.
Lumley Castle was built in 1388. It sits upon the eastern bank of the River Wear and overlooks the town and the Riverside Park. The small United Reformed Church on Low Chare, just off the main Front Street, was built in 1814 as the Bethel Congregational Chapel and remodelled in 1860. It is still in use and is a Grade II listed building. The Queens Head Hotel, locally known as The Queens Head, is located in the central area of the Front Street. It was built over 250 years ago when this road was the main route from Edinburgh and Newcastle to the south and London.
Chester-le-Street Post Office at 137 Front Street is in the Art Deco style and replaced a smaller building located on the corner of Relton Terrace and Ivanhoe Terrace, and was opened in 1936. It is unusual in that it is one of a handful of post offices that display the royal cypher from the brief reign of Edward VIII. At the time of the football matches 'Front Street' was actually the A1 road from London to Edinburgh. A bypass was built in the 1950s, which still exists today as the A167. The bypass road itself was partly bypassed by, and partly incorporated in, the A1(M) motorway in the 1970s.
Chester-le-Street railway station, on the East Coast Main Line of the National Rail network, between Newcastle and Durham, opened in 1868. It offers local connections and cross-country train services. As of 2008, train operators serving the station are CrossCountry, TransPennine Express and Northern. A local independent company, Chester-le-Track, has operated the station since 1999, as an agent for Arriva Trains Northern and Northern Rail.
( Chester le Street - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Chester le Street . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Chester le Street - UK

Ghost story
Prince Charles | 70 years in 70 photos
Prince Charles is a bright representative of the modern generation of British monarchs. Prince of Wales is an example of a true aristocrat. He grew up in the family of Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Philip. Charles was brought up in the traditions of the Windsor dynasty. He is a potential heir to the British throne and can become an important figure in the British Commonwealth of Nations.
Prince Charles is the first child in the family. He was born at Buckingham Palace a year after the marriage of Princess Elizabeth and Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The grandson of King George VI at the age of three, after the death of his crowned grandfather and the accession of Elizabeth II, became the first claimant to the throne. Two years later his sister Anne was born. Ten years later - in 1960 -his brother Andrew was born. In 1964, the Queen gave birth to the youngest son Edward.
Prince Charles, as the heir to the British crown, studied at the elite school in London. Prince of Wales entered Cambridge University and studied history until 1970. Five years later, according to the tradition of the oldest (after the Oxford) university, the prince was awarded a Master of Arts degree from Cambridge.
In 1952, after the coronation of Elizabeth, Prince Charles became Duke of Cornwall. It is a British title, which automatically passes to the eldest son of the monarch. The official name of Charles is His Royal Highness the Duke of Cornwall. In 1958, the title Prince of Wales and Earl of Chester were added to the official name of Charles. If the eldest son of the Queen ascends to the throne, he will become King Charles III.
There are rumors that Prince Charles prefers to become George VII - this is his fourth name. But the royal court and his speechwriters officially denied this information, pointing out the prematurity of the discussion.
In the summer of 1969, in the Welsh castle of Caernarfon, at the investiture ceremony, the Queen Mother put the Crown of the heir to the throne of the crown on Prince Charles's head (also known as the crown of the Prince of Wales). After the coronation, the prince became an active participant in the social life of England. The following year he attended a meeting of The Cabinet of the United Kingdom.
In the 1970s, the Prince of Wales participated in several meetings of the House of Lords. For the first time in the 300-year history of the monarchy, the heir was allowed to participate in the work of ministers. Charles was introduced to the list of candidates for the post of Australian governor-general, but because of the constitutional crisis that erupted in Australia, the prince refused that post.
In the early 1970s, Prince Charles joined the military service. After the training course, he was enrolled in the air force: Charles is pilot of a helicopter and fighter. A few years later he joined the fleet of Britain, where he served for two years.
Prince Charles is a bright personality. Filmmakers repeatedly used his biography. In 2006, the historical and biographical drama by Stephen Frears The Queen was released, describing the first days of the royal family after the death of Princess Diana. Helen Mirren played Elizabeth II, and the British actor Alex Jennings played the role of Prince Charles. In 2011, the movie William and Kate was released, where Ben Cross played the heir.
In his youth, the eldest son of the royal family was known as Lovelace. In the late 1970s, he proposed to Amanda Knatchbull, who was related to the British monarchs (Charles's second cousin), but Amanda refused the heir. In 1980, Prince Charles was dating Sarah Spencer - a girl from an aristocratic family, the daughter of the viscount. But Sarah's younger sister Lady Diana became the prince's wife.
A beautiful wedding took place in the summer of 1981. It is noteworthy that the newlyweds were of the same height: Charles and Diana are 1.78 meters. The young couple seemed to be a happy family, but relatives and close friends of the couple knew about scandals. A year after the wedding, Prince William was born, and two years later (in 1984), Diana gave birth to their second son, Prince Harry.
The British loved Diana, and when the rumors of the adultery of Prince Charles with Camilla Parker-Bowles appeared, the reputation of Charles suffered. The English took the side of Diana, the people's princess. Diana's death in Paris in 1997 caused a substantial outpouring of worldwide grief. And Prince Charles, who divorced his wife a year before her death, was criticized.

WE give thanks to God forThe Queen's long and glorious reign: for her devotion to duty and to the peoples of this United Kingdom, the OverseasTerritories and the Realms, and the Commonwealth; for her sustained support of the Armed Forces and civil powers; and for her unswerving commitment to the peaceful democratic principles of these lands.
Let us bless the Lord: Thanks be to God.
The Right Reverend Dr Richard Chartres KCVO, Bishop of London and Dean of Her Majesty's Chapels Royal, says:
WE give thanks to God for Her Majesty's example of humble service: for her commitment to the needs of others; for her affectionate service of her Peoples; and for the strength and inspiration she fosters in the Nations. Let us bless the Lord: Thanks be to God.
The Right Reverend Jana Jeruma-Grinberga, The Lutheran Church in Great Britain, and
Co-President, Churches Together in England, says:

Lord, in thy mercy: Hear our prayer.
The Most Reverend George Stack, Archbishop of Cardiff, says:
WE pray for those who bear The Queen's authority: for all who have been elected to public office; for those who serve in the Forces of the Crown, especially those currently engaged in theatres of conflict; and for those who uphold and maintain justice; that, inspired by a vision of Christ's glory, all may honour one another and seek the common good.
Lord, in thy mercy: Hear our prayer.
The Very Reverend Dr John Cairns, Dean, Her Majesty's Chapel Royal, Scotland, says:
WE pray for The Queen and all members of the Royal Family: that they may have health of body and mind, length of days and grace to continue to serve the needs of others, and all joy and hope in believing.
Lord, in thy mercy: Hear our prayer.
The Reverend Michael Macey, Minor Canon and Precentor of Westminster, says:
ALL these our prayers and praises let us bring to the throne of heavenly grace, as we say together the prayer that Jesus taught us:
OUR Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever.
Amen.
THE HOMAGE
All sit. Claire Skinner, actress, reads from St George's Chapel, beside the Coronation Chair
THE THRONE
THE crown translates a woman to a Queen -
endless gold, circling itself, an O like a well,
fathomless, for the years to drown in - history's bride,
anointed, blessed, for a crowning. One head alone
can know its weight, on throne, in pageantry,
and feel it still, in private space, when it's lifted:
not a hollow thing, but a measuring; no halo,
treasure, but a valuing; decades and duty. Time-gifted,
the crown is old light, journeying from skulls of kings
to living Queen.
Its jewels glow, virtues; loyalty's ruby,
blood-deep; sapphire's ice resilience; emerald evergreen;
the shy pearl, humility. My whole life, whether it be long
or short, devoted to your service. Not lightly worn.
Carol Ann Duffy CBE FRSL (b 1955), Poet Laureate specially written for this Service
All stand. The Dean says
A PRAYER
Let us pray:
O ETERNAL God, whose chosen servant Elizabeth our Queen hath for sixty years worn a crown of glory and righteousness in humble duty and devotion to thee:grant that we, her people, knowing whose authority she hath, may continue faithfully to serve, honour, and obey her, in thee and for thee, after the example of him who is the servant King, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

STORYLINE
Britain's Queen Elizabeth II left the London hospital where she'd been treated for the symptoms of a stomach infection Monday, following a brief and rare hospitalisation for the 86-year-old head of state.
A smiling Elizabeth walked unassisted out of King Edward VII Hospital Monday afternoon before saying goodbye to staff.
She was then driven away in a motorcade.
The queen has left the King Edward VII's Hospital having been admitted briefly as part of the assessment of symptoms of gastroenteritis, the palace said in a brief statement issued after her release.
Gastroenteritis is an inflammation of the stomach and/or the intestine, generally caused either by food poisoning or the norovirus, a common winter vomiting bug that affects several hundred thousand Britons every year.
The queen has cancelled engagements for this week due to the illness.
Norovirus infections are only very rarely dangerous, and doctors who weren't involved with Elizabeth's treatment believe she may have been hospitalised as a precaution.
It was the monarch's first hospitalisation in 10 years, but it set off few alarm bells in Britain, where she is seen as being in excellent health.
Although not as physically active as she used to be - having reluctantly given up horse riding, one of her favourite hobbies, and cut down on taxing overseas trips - the queen still maintains a demanding schedule.
Unofficial court figures indicate she carried out roughly 400 official engagements in 2012 - ranging from weekly one-on-one meetings with the prime minister to gatherings of 100 or more people.
There were no concerned crowds of wellwishers gathered outside the hospital Monday - only news media keeping an eye out for royal visitors coming to pay their respects.

Old Hall Hotel Sandbach & Tree with 'eyes'
The Old Hall Hotel from Sandbach High St - one of the most haunted buildings in Britain; it faces an uncertain future - perhaps even demolition. Just a little further down is a most interesting tree. A tunnel is said to link the hall's cellar to the altar at St Mary's Church across the road. See the Ministry of Weirdness -
