Greenwich is a town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It is home to many hedge funds and other financial service companies. Greenwich is the southernmost and westernmost municipality in Connecticut. It is 38+ minutes by train (express) from Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. The largest town on Connecticut's Gold Coast, CNN/Money and Money magazine ranked Greenwich first on its list of the 100 Best Places to Live in the United States in 2005.[2] The town is named after Greenwich, a borough of London in the United Kingdom.[3]
Wealth
Both the Official AENGLC Wealth Value and the CPR AENGLC Wealth Value show Greenwich as having the highest wealth value in Connecticut at over $930,000 per person. The AENGLC is based on the value of residential and commercial real estate and measures the town's tax base available to pay for public education(see Conn. Dep of Ed). It is not a measure of the personal wealth of individual residents. New Canaan is the wealthiest town in Connecticut, with a per capita income of $100,824, second is Darien at $95,577 and Greenwich third at $92,759 per the 2010 Census. Median family income in New Canaan at $220,278 also is higher than Greenwich at $167,825.
Greenwich was the highest income place with a population of 50,000 or more in 2000. However, using the list of the 100 richest places in the United States with at least 1,000 households yields a different result. This is the most common list used for referring to the richest communities in the country, as it eliminates any places with unsubstantial populations. On this list Greenwich ranks 56th after New Canaan at 30th, Darien at 42nd, and Weston at 55th.
The median price for a single-family home in town was $1.7 million in 2006, when about 140 properties sold for $5 million or more, according to Prudential Connecticut Realty. In 2007, the highest asking prices for residential property in town were $39.5 million for the 76-acre (310,000 m2) estate of actor Mel Gibson on Old Mill Road, $19.7 million for a 13,000-square-foot (1,200 m2) mansion on 8.7 acres (35,000 m2) with a private lake, and $38 million for an estate with formal gardens and a greenhouse the size of a cottage.[21]

6 major US cities could be underwater within 80 years — here are the disturbing ‘after’ images
If the worst climate-change predictions come true, hundreds of coastal US towns and cities — from Atlantic City, New Jersey, to Galveston, Texas — could disappear underwater by 2100.
The National Oceanic and Atmosphere Agency released a report in January that hinted at the possibility of an extreme sea-level-rise scenario that could cause chronic flooding to affect as many as 670 coastal communities. That scenario is considered unlikely but possible.
The research group Climate Central took the projections laid out in NOAA's report and created a plug-in for Google Earth that shows how catastrophic the damage would be if the flooding happened today. You can install it (directions here) and see anywhere in the US.

A Pistol for Ringo is an above-average Spaghetti Western. The anti-hero (Gemma) and villain (Sancho) are both very charismatic, and each has a good sense of humor. The basic plot situation is interesting: Fleeing from a bank hold-up in which their leader was wounded, a gang of bandits takes refuge at a farm. Although the farm is surrounded, the posse cannot attack because of the hostages. The anti-hero is highly paid to infiltrate and destroy the gang, and recover the money. The film has some unusual twists; for example, the bandits are executing two hostages per day, even after the anti-hero joins the gang, and he makes no effort to halt the executions. There is an interesting contrast between the behavior of the anti-hero (Gemma) and the sheriff (Martin) who behaves like a traditional Western hero. The film has a nice music score by Ennio Morricone. But somehow, this film failed to fully satisfy this viewer. The heroine is dull and bland, too much of the film takes place at the farm, and the anti-hero kills the villain in an absurd manner. There are also some gaps of logic-why didn't the bandits lock the sheriff in his jail? In any event, the film was such a financial success that the seven principal actors were reunited in The Return of Ringo (a sequel in name only, since all characters were different). The video suffers greatly from lack of widescreen; for example, the first shootout has Ringo against four opponents at once, but all you can see on the TV screen is Ringo and one of the opponents, so you don't even know who drew first. For a long time, Walmart seemed like the unstoppable juggernaut of the retail world, but things haven't been looking so great for the retail giant. In fact, they just announced another round of closures. So what's going on with Walmart, and will it get better or worse?
In 2016, Walmart purchased Jet.com and began aggressively expanding their online presence. Why? Because Amazon, that's why. The online retail giant was figuratively eating Walmart's lunch, so Walmart had to shift gears from a brick-and-mortar retail word to a digital one.
CEO Doug McMillon told Business Insider that the resulting downturn in profits as they refocused their business was, quote, planned and expected. But it hasn't been all sunshine and roses. Industry experts say that Walmart has had issues figuring out how much to keep in stock to satisfy both online and in-store orders, often resulting in physical locations being either overstocked with unwanted merchandise or understocked on key goods. And considering the whole point of going to Walmart is to get all the vital supplies in one place, not having those items when customers need them is a big problem.
