We Won A Trip To Costa Rica On Wheel of Fortune!
Yahoo! My girlfriend and I won a trip to Costa Rica on Wheel of Fortune -- without ever appearing on the popular TV game show.
We simply joined the Wheel Watchers Club on the Wheel of Fortune website.
When a contestant on TV won a vacation by solving the nightly Prize Puzzle, the Wheel Watchers Club drew our lucky number and also awarded the trip to us.
The announcer said The home prize winner is Ron S. of New Jersey. i had 24 hours from tne time the show aired to got to the website and click the Did I win? button. I did it in less than 24 minutes -- and the website replied YES!

National Park goes access all areas
LEADIN:
Costa Rica is considered one of the most bio-diverse regions in the world. It's helped the country become globally renowned for eco-tourism.
Now, one popular rainforest park claims to be fully accessible for people with different abilities.
STORYLINE:
This green frog, or the anteater bear are just some of the animals living at this nature reserve in Costa Rica.
But Carara National Park is not just catering for those that can see the creatures. It is a specially adapted park for disabled people wanting to experience the park through touch and sound.
Costa Rica's new inclusive policy will enable people to discover different species, and to do it on their own terms.
51-year-old music teacher, Gerardo Mora is blind. And until recently, a walk through the rainforest on his own would have been very difficult.
Mora can now pick up a specially adapted audioguide, and walk over to the information board that has braille information.
The Carara National Park is adapted to the needs of people with different abilities, and features things like an embossed map that points out rest points along the way.
With the help of his guidedog, Mora embarks on the rainforest pathways. He can enjoy the sounds and smells of the rainforest.
He can also feel the clay statues of rainforest creatures, such as the macaw. The different sculptures enable visually impaired people to get a better sense of what the animals look like.
Mora says: When they added the clay statues, it was good because I know for the first time what a Macaw is like. There is some equality, and I can now identify the same things as people that can see. Later when they began to make audio MP3 maps, then one says, Okay, perfect! What they are reading, I am listening to. When they brought out the embossed maps, you can point out the paths. It is important because walking along the path, or somewhere does not mean that one will know how it is exactly because I cannot feel it with my feet, but when you feel it in your hands, you can understand what it's like, and have the independence that anyone wants to have, and no need to have someone saying this, and that about how things are, you have it at your fingertips.
The campaign to build a path for all was developed within six months in an alliance of the public-private sector.
151,000 Costa Ricans also donated money, and the trail was completed in 2012.
Park director, Roco Echeverri says the success of the route in the park is down to four things: safety, independence, comfort and the natural surroundings.
I would like to highlight that the park is a mix of all the elements, and all the tactile additions make it special. It is not only because it has specially adapted paths, tactile maps, audio guides, labelling, and sculptures to help people with disabilities to enjoy it in the following manner - independence, comfort, nature, and safety - these are the four parts that actually ensure the path is accessible, she says.
Just one hour from San Jos, the trail cuts through two forests, and presents a unique biodiversity in fauna and flora.
In the park you can see hairy caterpillars dangling by a thread, or anthills with leaf-cutter ants.
Or an El Ceibo tree or perhaps an iguana if you are lucky.
Theatre producer, Eduardo Mosheim is seeing the park from his wheelchair.
He stopped to enjoy the hairy caterpillars: Well what I liked are the hairy caterpillars, it's just funny because, there are a few caterpillars that were just hanging... I began to take pictures because there were a few worms that were moving along on threads, which was very impressive. But when I got close to the caterpillar, you could see that it had a lot of hairs, and colours, and was very luxurious.

Beware These Worst Beaches for Shark Attacks!
Shark attacks seem to be on the rise in many parts of the world, therefore, you might want to steer clear of the following known shark-infested waters. Statistically, these are among the most dangerous beaches for deadly shark attacks.
1. Pernambuco, Brazil
The shockingly high attack rate in these waters appears to be due to over-fishing. Without enough food supply, the sharks have begun to sample other forms of fare to satisfy their relentless hunger.
2. Second Beach, South Africa
The beach is popular among shark-seeking tourists and cage divers. Tour operators dump boatloads of bloody chum in the water order to entice the great whites. You definitely don’t want to surf or swim anywhere near these boats and their chum lines.
3. New Smyrna Beach, Florida
More than 238 shark attacks have been documented at Florida’s (surprisingly) popular New Smyrna Beach. In fact, 15% of worldwide shark bites have occurred here. Most of the bites are courtesy of baby bull sharks that favor these waters. To date, none of the recorded attacks here have been fatal.
4. Velzyland Beach, Hawaii
About 41 different shark species that frequent Hawaii’s waters including aggressive specimens like bull sharks and great whites. The last fatal shark attack at this beach occurred in 1994 when a tiger shark attacked a surfer. More recent attacks on surfers have been reported, but none fatal.
5. New South Wales, Australia
This region, which includes famous Bondi Beach, has recorded more than 170 unprovoked shark attacks and more than 50 fatal attacks, and great white shark encounters are more common here than in other parts of the world. Due to the position of the continental shelf, swimmers and surfers are in close proximity of deep waters where these potential predators cruise.
6. Fletcher Cove, California
Fletcher Cove may be picturesque, but it is also the scene of 142 unprovoked shark attacks, including some recent fatalities. Scientists are convinced that the fish-strewn waters in this region are ideal feeding grounds for large predators like the great white.
7. Reunion Island, Indian Ocean
This island has had more than 10 attacks in a recent two-year period, three being fatal. This has prompted island officials to close the beaches to swimmers and surfers. Experts aren’t sure why the sharks are biting people with greater frequency.
8. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Since 2005, there have been more than fifty attacks. In fact, researchers have claimed that South Carolina’s waters are just as dangerous as Florida’s when comparing the swimmer-to-attack ratio. Their waters are attractive to species like tiger sharks and bull sharks.
9. Coffin Bay, Australia
The name says it all. Don’t swim here unless you fancy a meeting with a great white. Recently an abalone diver was attacked and killed by two great white sharks. His body was never recovered.
10. Surf Beach, California
A nineteen-year-old surfer was attacked and killed a few years ago by a great white shark believed to be 18 feet in length. The waters here are home to seals, which attract great whites in large numbers.

Орёл и Решка. Перезагрузка. АМЕРИКА (Heads and Tails Reloaded. (Marino Ballena National Park).
