00:30 Tour briefing
01:23 Khai (Bamboo) Island
01:59 Phi Phi Don Island
02:33 Monkey Bay Island
04:40 Koh Khai Island
The trip to Phi Phi Islands was a part of our one week Phuket itinerary.
We were picked by 7:30 am from our Seaview Hotel Patong in a mini-bus and after picking couple of more tourists from the nearby area we arrived at marina and waited for about 30 minutes. Toilet facilities available in here. We were offered snacks and tea. There lies a pile of sea-sickness pills in a basket next to snacks for free in case you need them.
We were then explained with dos and don’ts of the trip and about upcoming full day activities.
We bought beach shoes and mobile waterproof covers from the nearby shop that sells all relevant items.
We soon boarded the speedboat and reached Bamboo (Khai) Island after sailing for about 2 hours through high waves jumping and bumping as we sat in the front open side of the boat.
I strongly recommend to go well prepared for enjoying each and every second of the trip. For instance, wear light clothes and beach shoes, apply and carry plenty of sun lotion, carry towels, travel light with no heavy belongings, waterproof mobiles and cameras (water splashes all over and through).
Scuba diving too can be availed by paying extra bucks which we didn’t as we found the time allowed for it was bit short as we were more concerned about not missing other activities at the islands. We spent our time swimming and snorkelling clicking pictures underwater with GoPro camera.
We rented chairs at the rate of 100/- baht just to keep our belongings under the shed.
We were served with freshly cut watermelon and pineapple slices by the tour operator that were quenching our thirst and we were eating them non-stop.
We then headed in the same speedboat to another island Phi Phi Don where we had buffet lunch which was so palatable. Mineral water bottles were for free but you have to buy soft drinks at a nominal price. Use of toilets is paid which is ok as it is well cleaned and maintained. We clicked amazing pics at this island too.
After having lunch to our fill, we came back to our speedboat and proceeded to a nearby monkey beach where lots of monkeys are found on the cliffs waiting for the visitors to go near offering them food. Our boat sailed to the cliffs as close as possible allowing us to click great pictures.
We finally visited Koh Khai Islands; clear and stand still waters where we dived from our boat and had a wonderful time swimming.
The ride back was again rough but enjoyable as the tides were high. Again we sat at the front side. Fresh fruits were being supplied on-board as well.
Apparently I didn’t apply sun lotion properly and had sunburns followed by the blisters that appeared next day. I applied aloe vera cream which is available so commonly all over which is quite effective in treating sunburns. Please do take proper care to avoid sunburns. You will not pay attention to it out of excitement. So I repeat do go well prepared and you surely will have a great wonderful memorable trip.
By 6 pm we were dropped back at our hotel.

Phuket City on Phuket Island is the capital of Thailand’s Phuket Province. The Thai Hua Museum has exhibits on Phuket’s culture and history. Phuket city a lot to see and do and spend money in this old town full of heritage buildings. Phuket Town features an exciting mix of old and new, simple and sophisticated, peaceful and pulsating. The activity in Phuket Town is nearly around the clock. In the early morning, stoic monks take to the streets on their daily alms rounds and the fresh market buzzes with restaurant owners buying ingredients for the day's meals. Non-stop bustle characterises the daytime, and lasts well into the evening. Nights are reserved for enjoying good company, whether at a restaurant, a disco, a quiet bar, or a combination of all three.

2 Sea Kayaking - Phang Nga Hong by Starlight
When other sea cave-kayak tour operators are winding down for the day, the John Gray Sea Canoe crew is just getting started. John Gray is the godfather of sea kayaking in Thailand. He developed the ‘Hong by Starlight’ tour as a way to avoid crowds. A hong, in case you were wondering, is a sea cave.
3 Phuket FantaSea Show
Phuket FantaSea is the island's biggest show. With trapeze artists, a cast of hundreds, performing elephants and other animals and an exotic storyline that blends tradition with fantasy you'll have a wonderful evening out here.
4 Bamboo Rafting Nature Tour
Get close to the wild side of Phang Nga, seeing elephants, turtles, crocodiles and truly stunning natural landscapes. This tour visits a government-run fishery centre which breeds and releases sea turtles, a safari camp with a mini zoo and elephant trekking, the Ton Pling Waterfall and finishes with a journey down the Wang Khiang Koo River on a bamboo raft. It’s a relaxed, easy-going trip and gives you a very personal experience of Thailand’s untamed natural side.
5 Phang Nga Bay Cruise on June Bahtra Junk
See some the most famous of Phuket’s sights from the deck of the most exotic mode of transport available – a traditional Chinese Junk. The June Bahtra provides a safe, stable and exceptionally charming platform from which to explore the beautiful Phang Nga Bay, the famous James Bond Island and the remarkable Koh Pan Yee floating village. Propelled both by its striking red sails and a sturdy engine, the journey is as pleasant as the destinations on this cruise.
6 Phuket Island & City Tour
Phuket Island and City Tour is the perfect introduction to Phuket. This half-day tour by air-conditioned minivan takes you to the most famous cultural and scenic places of Phuket, giving you a glimpse of the island’s beauty at a bargain price. 7 ATV & White Water Rafting in Phang Nga
Phang Nga Province – right next door to Phuket – is a veritable cornucopia of wildlife, stunning scenery and adventure opportunities. Visitors to Phuket are lucky in that they can have the luxury of a beachside hotel along with easy and swift access to Phang Nga.
8 Phuket Eco Extreme by ATV
Explore 350 acres of wild, rugged terrain with an equally wild and rugged vehicle at Phuket’s most well-established ATV camp. Ride through dense jungle, mangroves and beaches, taking in wonderful sights in an exciting rush through the countryside.
9 Flying Hanuman
Zip through the jungle canopy 40 metres above the ground at this eco-friendly adventure park in Phuket. Fly between the trees along perfectly safe industrial-strength cables to sturdy wooden platforms where you can learn more about the island’s wild side, including the unique creatures which make the treetops you are exploring their home. It is a very different kind of nature tour, combining high-speed excitement with a fascinating view of a rarely-seen part of the landscape.
10 Coral Island Tour by Speedboat
It’s amazing how hot it can get at 09:00 in the morning. Thankfully, at Chalong Pier there’s plenty of shade and benches on which to sit with a cool drink. There are a lot of people here and their faces – in spite of their wildly differing nationalities – show just three basic emotions. There’s anticipation on foreigner’s faces, determination on the tour guides’ faces and pure bewilderment on children’s faces.
At 09:30 a guide wearing a Coral Island Resort T-shirt leads us down the steps at the beginning of the pier and helps us into a single engine speedboat. Soon, we’re roaring along and leaving a gorgeous wake behind us as we head south, past the headland at Rawai. The view of southern Phuket from the sea is decidedly verdant. You’d never guess what a busy place it can be at times, it looks so peaceful from a distance.
Phuket Town Day Tour With Scooter | Phuket Thailand Tour vlog
Phuket is one of the biggest islands in Thailand. Phuket old town is the hearth of this island. Being based in Phuket it is very easy to explore the surroundings of the Phuket island on the Andaman Sea. It is very easy to rent a boat or go on organised tours in to Phi Phi Islands, James Bond Island or any other island from in the Phang Nga Bay Thailand. Phuket is very popular tourist destination, being easily connected to the rest of the world via its international airport.
Renting a scooter in Phuket is one if the best things to do as you have the freedom and time to explore more. Driving a scooter in Thailand is very cheap and is one of the best options to move around once you settled in a place.
This video vlogs one day tour around Phuket Old Town area. You can get a good idea on what you can see and do in a day in Phuket, Thailand. The main attraction points highlighted here are:
1. The Monkey Hill Phuket - very close to Phuket Town, this attraction provides splendid views over one side of the Phuket Town, and gives you the chance to see the monkeys; there are plenty of monkeys here and some local fruit juices and drunks that you can have on the way.
2. Khao Rang View Point is a very quiet and peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the splendid views over the Phuket Town.
3. Karon View Point is one of the busiest view points in Phuket Island just because it offers views over the three most famous beaches in Phuket and the Andaman Sea. Here you can see a beautiful sunset over the Phuket island.
4. Big Buddha is highlight of the Phuket island. The journey to Big Buddha can be very pleasant as you can stop to feed the elephants or enjoy some green fresh coconuts. Big Buddha offers amazing views over Phuket Town and inspires you with the grand marble statue of Buddha.
Riding a scooter will allow you to easily see all these attractions and in the same time you could squeeze in an hour or two of beach time on the west coast of Phuket Island.

BEST PHUKET TOUR? ???? | Chalong Bay Rum Distillery Cocktails | Thailand Travel Vlog
In this vlog we visit Chalong Bay Rum Distillery for a cocktail workshop class, an amazing Phuket tour! They use pure Thailand sugar cane so that...✈ Our 220 page guide on how to travel non-stop —
Thailand has some of the most amazing activities, there are so many Phuket tour options as well,, but we wanted to try something different. We were staying in the Chalong are of Phuket and remembered why the name Chalong rung a bell... someone we met in Bangkok was talking to us about Chalong Bay Rum. Turns out the Chalong Bay Distillery was just up the road and they offer cocktail workshop classes and distillery tours! Is it the best Phuket tour? We weren't sure, but wanted to find out.
This tour was amazing - the Chalong Bay Distillery itself was fascinating, in particular their use of pure Thai sugarcane, supporting Thailand and it's locals. Of course the cocktails were tasty, full or rum and a huge amount of fun as well.
Full disclosure, we were welcomed by Chalong Bay Distillery but as you can tell from the video, this is an honest and glowing review from a really epic afternoon and our favourite Phuket tour! Check out Chalong Bay here and learn more about the process, their rums and their tours:

Patong Beach - Local bus from Patong Beach to Phuket Town - Phuket attractions
We are in Patong Beach which lies on the island of Phuket in Thailand. My wife and I have decided that we would like to visit Phuket Town for the day, and rather than take a taxi there we would like to try the normal public transportation services. Our bus (the Patong Beach Bus Stop) is located right down in the Southern end of Patong Beach actually almost opposite or close to the Patong Merlin Hotel.
The journey to Phuket Town from Patong Beach cost around 50 Baht and probably took alot longer than a taxi. The ride was however very pleasant and it was a good way to mingle with the local Thai people who where also heading for Phuket Town. The bus was eventually full, yet there was always space for one more person. Nice to see the younger generation offering their seats too the older people. Phuket Town is definitely one of the main must see attractions on Phuket Island. Wherever you are living we highly recommend that you try getting there by local bus.
Our footage starts on Patong Beach Road. Watch out for Tuk Tuks, Bangla Boxing Stadium announcements, the Patong beachfront, Jet skis, the Patong Merlin Hotel, McDonalds, Burger King...
Hope you enjoy the video. Please feel free to leave a Comment, Question, Like and/or Subscribe to our channel for more travel videos like this.

TRAVEL HUSTLE REPEAT GEAR ►

Phuket is Thailand’s largest island and it’s known for its beaches, incredible views and it’s nightlife. Today I am going to be showing you Phuket’s top attractions.
There are over 25 Buddhist temples on the island and Wat Chalong is the most famous. It’s a three story temple and it’s well known because it houses a bone relic of the Buddha.
Here we are at Phuket’s big Buddha. This Buddha measures 45 meters in height and looks over southern Phuket. From most of southern Phuket you can see the Buddha and as you can see the complex has not been completed yet. What ever you buy at the complex goes towards funding the completion of the Buddha.
Thalang Road the most famous street in Phuket town. They recently applied for UNESCO World Heritage recognition. The street is made up of seno Portugues mansions and shop houses which have been rebuilt, re-painted and remodeled. On the ground level their cafes, restaurants and boutiques.
Patong Beach is the most touristic beach on the island. The beach has cafes, watersport activities and restaurants. It is a beautiful beach so you have to see it when in Phuket!
Another beautiful beach is Surin Beach, which is only a 15 minute drive north of Patong Beach. This is the perfect place to get a quite lunch, take a dip or go snorkeling.
Lastly we have Bang Tao Beach, this is a more family oriented beach, its less touristy and more relaxing. Phuket has many more beaches not just these three. The western coast is easier for swimming and the eastern coast tends to be more muddy.
We head out to Phang Nga Bay with Captain Mark’s Alternative tours. We signed on for a full day speed boat tour. First stop is Ko Lao Landing island to visit paradise beach. Next up we visit a 1000 year old bodhi tree.
We then head to Koh Panyi Village, a 1000 person muslim village. The families have been there for over two hundred years. Lastly we visit Panak Island to visit a dark cave, secret lagoons and a haunted pirates cave.
That was things to see and do in Phuket, Thailand! Comment below if you have been or want to go!

One day trip:Around Phuket Island
A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.
Telugu Travel Vlog 1 : Phuket, Thailand (Temple, Phuket City Viewpoint, Phuket Weekend Night Market)
Telugu Travel Vlog 1 : Phuket, Thailand (Temple, Phuket City Viewpoint, Phuket Weekend Night Market)
Phuket is an island province of Thailand. Its situated in the south part of Thailand. Phuket has few of the most popular beaches of Thailand situated along the clear waters of the western shore.
The Island has a lot of high-end seaside resorts, spas and restaurants.
The best way to get around and explore this town is to hire a motorcycle or scooter and cruise around. And that's what I did. I hired a scooter and decided to cruise around the town, taking whichever road I feel like. I had no agenda. I just went on roaming around.
First I stumbled upon a Temple which looked really beautiful from distance. Decided to take my first stop here. I checked out the temple and its architecture and saw how people paid their homage to the God. It wasn't different from how Hindus pray at the temple back in India.
The differences I saw were that, 1) People enter into the temple with their shoes on. 2) People offer soft drinks like Coco Cola and Fanta to the God (Bet even the God gets thirsty in this heat)
Next I went onto to cruise around the main Phuket Town. I saw some narrow road heading to something. The road was really nice and cool with lots of trees on both sides. It was an amazing ride with cool air hitting my face. At the end of the road I reached my 2nd destination - Phuket City Viewpoint.
The Phuket City Viewpoint has an awesome view of the whole town(or city - how they like to call it). I could also see the waterfront from the viewpoint. I realized that Phuket is such a flat town with hardly any high rise buildings.
Also I got to sit on a bench with a view of the whole town and to think about life and contemplate (I do that too much).
Next I got to hear about the weekend night market from a local and I decided to head there as my last stop for the day.
The Phuket Weekend Night Market is a busy busy place where you would definitely, definitely be lost. Its huge with a range of items on sale and that too at affordable rates(IF and only IF you are good at bargaining). The food section isn't the biggest, but it definitely is the busiest at all times. The range of food items is just crazy. But its useless for the vegetarians. If you are lucky and determined then you may stumble upon a few stalls selling 1 or 2 vegetarians items. Else fruit is always an option.
So after visiting the Night Market, I was totally drenched in sweat and decided to end my exploration of the city for the day.
All in all it was a fun filled day of exploration of Phuket, Thailand.

Phi Phi Islands Day Trip out of Phuket 2015 (Thailand #5)
This is a very popular day trip out of Phuket. We did it with Phuket Sail Tours, and I give them a very high thumbs up! The most famous stop is Maya Bay, an incredibly beautiful beach and nearly enclosed lagoon that was used as the film location for Leonardo DiCaprio's movie The Beach. As a result, it is now insanely overrun with tourists. Too bad because it really is stunningly beautiful.
If you do decide to do this tour, choose your operator very carefully! Most are junket shops that run very packed boats. Phuket Sail Tours runs a much less crowded speedboat, and leaves Phuket harbor shortly after dawn in order to be one of the earliest boats to reach Maya Bay. Very different experience if you get there late morning or in the afternoon, as Maya Bay can be terribly overrun with people!
After Maya Bay, we traveled to a lagoon that is only accessible at high tide and you can watch our tour guide put on quite the show with a cliff jump. He had everyone's attention in the whole lagoon!
The video also features a stop at Monkey Beach to feed monkeys bananas from the boat (they can become very aggressive if you get close to them on shore), and a visit to the Viking Cave where Swallow nests are grown and harvested for the coveted bird's nest soup.
We had a great time.

Off to Phuket's Old City night market and the next day Phuket's Monkey Hill we go! The Thailand travel vlogs continue full steam 2x a week!
We got a taste of the night markets here the previous night, and had intended to go back the next day just a little earlier to beat the crowds and get some shopping done. However while hanging out at the pool we got to talking with a fellow Canadian lady and she made a good point we should go check out the Old City's Sunday Night Market, the popular one in Phuket.
So we got ready and later that evening we were off to the old City! We left the scooter at home as it was only about a 15 minute walk from our place and we just wanted to explore the old City area on foot and not deal with the parking and having to return for our scooter, which worked out well. The market itself was in the middle of one of the main downtown streets (closed off of course) and then sprawled out from there on to other side streets and storefronts a long the way. It was nice to be out under the beautiful night sky and have the fresh air around you atleast as opposed to the more stuffy previous market we had visited. It was a bit more touristy and probably slightly higher priced than the previous market but would definitely recommend visiting it still if you're in the area. Great varieties of food, fun live music spots and being in around old City after sundown with the roads shutdown is a fun way to check it out.
The next day we put the scooter to use and visited Monkey Hill near Old City Phuket. It was a fun short drive through traffic and a fun stop that gets a fair amount of tourists. I would personally recommend a scooter or perhaps renting a cheap motorcycle taxi as you can take it 80% of the way up, to where the monkeys start and then you'll have a little extra energy to enjoy the monkeys and walk the short remainder to the top. We got some nice views of Phuket and the surrounding area, and the monkeys were hilarious as they always are. They are wild monkeys but there are also people who supervise them and look out for tourists and break up any disturbances going on (the best they can, so please follow the rules or it's a risk for you, and teaches them bad behavior for future visitors too). We read online atleast that these monkeys have been known the carry rabies so all the more reason to stay a safe distance and not try and pet, feed, or impose yourself on then. We walked up from the parking spot and you get a few more viewpoints. There is also some sort of electrical or telecommunication station up top with a spooky old facility there we check out too.
After Monkey Hill we grab a bite to eat at the Phuket Central Festival Mall and then we had a movie night in the SFX theater in there. We didn't get any good footage really (sorry) there but it was a nice theater and we prebooked a love seat chair at the back. I believe it was $20cad for 2 for admission and the back better chair. We also got paprika popcorn which we learned in Thailand is a DELICIOUS idea and should be a thing in North America.
Hope you guys liked seeing some monkeys and the old City area! Be sure to give the video a like if you did and show your support. Next video it's off to Patong Beach and a snorkelling day tour trip to Coral Island and around. It'll be our LAST video in Thailand!???????? Crazy..
So stay tuned and see you next episode friends!
