MARK ZIMMERMANN : COLOR AS METAPHOR
Film by Eric Minh Swenson. Produced by AC Projects. Music by TJ Morehouse and Rick Depofi.
Mark Zimmermann, an American artist and writer, was born to a military family in Munich, Germany, in 1967 and grew up in Hawaii and the southern United States. Since 1998, he has exhibited his paintings in 17 solo shows and numerous group exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe.
Zimmermann’s paintings are based on the marriage of meditative fields, architectonic structures and an organic gestural line. In discussing this work, the editor and writer, Larry Qualls noted, “…a majestic landscape narrative… they illuminate the nature of painting itself. In a sense what these paintings do is bring a synthesis of the conceptual and the realistic; it is as if there is the conflux of two grand traditions: the purely abstract and the purely objective.”
In 2000, Zimmermann became the first American artist to exhibit in a commercial gallery in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2009, he was commissioned to create of suite of monumental paintings for the VIP Lounge of the Palazzo Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2010, he was photographed by Andres Serrano, in a project documenting New York artists. Most recently Zimmermann has been Photographed by Eric Minh Swenson and is the first NYC artist to be the subject of a film in Swenson's ongoing documentary series.
As a writer, he has widely published poetry and short fiction, as well as essays and critical works on painting, photography, sculpture, architecture, theatre, and film throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. His writing has been translated into six languages. He lives and works in New York City and the San Fernando Valley of California.

MORRISSEY - April 17, 2004 - Las Vegas, NV, USA (Full Concert) LIVE
Recorded Live at The Joint, Las Vegas, NV, United States - April 17, 2004. You Are The Quarry Tour - American Warm-Up Dates. Artwork & Information: Passionsjustlikemine.com
Setlist:
First Of The Gang To Die
Hairdresser On Fire
America Is Not The World
I Like You
The Headmaster Ritual
Subway Train/Everyday Is Like Sunday
I Have Forgiven Jesus
How Can Anybody Possibly Know How I Feel?
Such A Little Thing Makes Such A Big Difference
Little Man, What Now?
I'm Not Sorry
A Rush And A Push And The Land Is Ours
The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores
No One Can Hold A Candle To You
Jack The Ripper
Hand In Glove
Irish Blood, English Heart
/There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
The first concert of Morrissey's extensive You Are The Quarry tour went down very well, especially when considering that more than half of the setlist was performed for the first time ever and that the band now included a new member, keyboard player Mike Farrell. The sound was overall excellent, but there were a few vocal glitches here and there early on in the gig. Morrissey apologised for this more than once and said that they would work it out for the Anaheim show. Things gradually picked up and by the end of the show everything was perfect. All in all Morrissey was slightly less talkative than he had been on the past few tours. Security was very strict and a barrier kept the audience at a certain distance from the stage so, despite a few near-successful attempts, nobody made it up to their idol. Many fans still managed to shake Morrissey's hand.
The setlist featured 8 of the 12 songs off Morrissey's newest album You Are The Quarry, set to be released one months later. Four of these had already been introduced on the 2002 tour and the other four were completely new to everyone in the audience. The crowd was therefore more quiet during these numbers because the fans were paying attention to words and music they were not familiar with. All The Lazy Dykes (also from the newest album) was on the setlist but skipped.
Another unfamiliar song in the setlist was Morrissey's cover of Raymonde's No One Can Hold A Candle To You. The song would later be released as a b-side, but not until the end of the year. Morrissey also did two Smiths songs never performed live before in his solo career, The Headmaster Ritual and A Rush And A Push And The Land Is Ours, as well as two more that had already been played on previous tours. The rest of the setlist was rounded up with early solo songs ranging from 1988 to 1992, all of which previously done live, except for the new version of Everyday Is Like Sunday which included a new intro, the first verse of a New York Dolls song called Subway Train.
After the Imperfect List intro Morrissey walked on stage with his musicians and greeted the audience with Good evening to you Vegas... Hello... He had something that looked like mistletoe hanging from his crotch zipper. The plant was eventually sent flying into the audience, just like Morrissey's shirt would at the end of the concert. The first live introduction of the evening was America Is Not The World and it was introduced by Morrissey with It's very nice to see whoever you are like... and, of course, we don't agree with experiments on animals under any circumstances but... we don't mind experimenting on humans, so... tonight we're gonna try out some new songs and... we never know, you might like them! Please don't be offended, America is not the world...

Hale Centre Theatre Cairns Plaza, Sandy, Utah, USA - Crystal Fountains
Located on the west coast of USA, Hale Centre Theatre which is known as “Utah’s Professional Family Theatre” has been playing a vital role in the performing arts industry for 33 years. The factory-turned-theatre first opened its curtains to the community in Salt Lake City in July 1985 and served as Salt Lake City’s milestone for 13 years before the organization decided to move the theatre to a vast space - 42,000 square-foot - at West Valley City, Utah in 1998. After 19 years of this transition, Hale Centre Theatre which was running at full capacity every night for 13 years, has started a new journey in Sandy with the re-opening of Hale Centre Theatre at Mountain America Performing Arts Centre.
Hale Centre Theatre has been home to popular musicals and performances for more than 30 years including famous shows from Wizards of Oz to The Addams Family. At this extended location, which is different from its previous stages,, there are two spectacular theatres comprising of almost 1400 seats with more actors and administrators where Hale Centre Theatre can now host more shows and theatre lovers.
The audience visiting the new Hale Centre Theatre is not only impressed by the marvelous interior design and spectacular shows but also the exciting attraction outside the theatre. The water feature is illuminated with a wide spectrum of colors making it an exciting attraction for visitors to walk past.
Crystal effectively applied its latest RGBACL technology to create an exquisite water feature where visitors of Hale Theatre can pause and enjoy this unique and intriguing attraction. Along with supplying custom LED360 stands from Crystal’s stainless steel manufacturing plant, the fountain of Hale Centre Theatre Cairns Plaza was choreographed and programmed by Crystal’s designers with nearly every possible pantone colors including specific shades such as Halloween themed amber, orange and red or even St Patrick’s day green. With these entertaining and content based lighting shows which were created by using wide-selection of color options, Crystal contributed to transform the water feature to a dynamic and magnificent attraction.
The fountain of Hale Centre Theatre Cairns Plaza not only uplifts the aesthetics of the theatre’s ambiance outside but also makes it an outstanding tourist attraction which will continue to be spectacular for its visitors in the years to come.

Las Vegas Mayor Pro Tem Michele Fiore pushes back against the narrative that this move is criminalizing homelessness and says the city will transport people to better areas and will not enforce the ordinance if the city’s shelters are full.

My channel is focused on creating content with the purpose of showing you and exploring with you the world's most extraordinary and inspiring luxury homes, bringing you quality edited design projects video presentations. Featuring architectural design projects, interior design ideas & decor.
Designed by architect John Maniscalco, the property is a 60-acre luxury property atop the hills in the heart of Oakville, Napa County. The one-of-a-kind home features a sleek modern design aesthetic that blends interior spaces with the outdoors through floor to ceiling glass windows and nearly 3,000 square feet of covered porches and terraces.
The main house features an elegant courtyard water feature, four bedrooms, four and a half baths, a great room with fireplace, dining and family rooms, a surround sound home theater, office, an infinity edge pool, and a 2000-bottle wine cave carved directly into the hillside. The master suite houses an indulgent steam shower and soaking tub. Centralized controls make simple work of adjusting lighting, music, temperature, security and automatic louvers and shades throughout the home. Additional Green features include an electric car charging station, solar array, reverse-osmotic wáter filtration, central air conditioning and radiant heating.
The adjacent guest house features one bedroom, one bath, living and dining room, kitchenette, outdoor shower and pool bathroom with sweeping views of Napa Valley. Also located on the estate grounds is a separate guest retreat with one bedroom, one bath, a living room, full kitchen and family room.
Beyond the primary residence, the property’s 60 acres contain a recreational park (accessed via a private road) with tennis and bocce courts, an outdoor kitchen and hearth, and an approximately one acre organic garden and orchard. This pristinely-manicured green space, shaded by 100-year old oak trees, houses groves of fruit and olive trees and an active honeybee colony.
The property’s stunning location in the heart of the Oakville AVA (American Viticultural Area) inspires a number of the estate’s finest features. A climate-controlled wine cave, carved directly into the hillside, provides a tasting venue and storage for up to 2,000 bottles. The property also encompasses three vineyard blocks, planted with clones and rootstock selected by Thomas Rivers Brown, Food & Wine’s 2010 Winemaker of the Year. The vines at the property are capable of producing 100-125 cases per year.
Oakville’s reputation for producing some of the finest wines in the world is ever-present: neighboring winegrowers include Robert Mondavi, Opus One, Screaming Eagle, Bond and Harlan.

MORRISSEY - March 16, 2006 - Austin, TX, USA (Full Concert) LIVE
Recorded Live at Austin Music Hall, Austin, TX, United States - March 16, 2006. Tour Of The Tormentors - American Warm-Up Dates. Artwork & Information: Passionsjustlikemine.com

This Morrissey appearance at the South By Southwest Festival was the best concert of these three American dates. Morrissey was in top form and very talkative. The audience was very responsive despite the presence of many non-Morrissey fans who had come so see other bands. They sang along to many of the songs, especially Girlfriend In A Coma. Nobody tried to scale the barrier until the very end of the encore and then about two or three fans made it on stage.
The Oklahoma City setlist from 2 days before must have been more satisfying than the one from Tulsa before that because the songs were performed in the same order here in Austin. Only Suedehead was dropped, perhaps to comply to the festival's time restrictions or schedule.
As soon as Morrissey walked on stage, he greeted the audience with the unusual and surprising And all of a sudden, by some shocking act of fate, you find yourself in Austin! After set opener First Of The Gang To Die he said something closer to a greeting, but still not quite So finally, finally, finally, we make it to Austin. In Still Ill, besides the previously introduced change England's a swine, and it owes me a living, Morrissey also sang and I should know because I've seen them but very very often. After the song he answered a fan Am I still ill? Dear God, I hope so...
In You Have Killed Me Morrissey slightly changed a line to who am I that I even come to be standing here. After the song, as an introduction to it and the next, he said That was that, this is this! and then the band launched in The Youngest Was The Most Loved. He followed the song with a proper introduction: That song was called 'The Youngest Was The Most Loved' and it's from our new album which... I think you can depend upon Waterloo Records... (then in a lower voice) maybe... In Reader Meet Author, besides the now common change The year 2000, it hasn't changed anyone here, Morrissey made many more minor changes, such as you don't know a thing about their life, book won't save them..., but more interestingly you hear the way this sad voice sings (which probably implies that the author in question is listening to Morrissey).
After the latter song Morrissey introduced his musicians: Would you please say hello to the lovely Boz Boorer... and to the only Gary Day... to newboy Matt Walker... and to our very own Austin boy, Jesse Tobias... and from (coughs) Cleveland... somebody has to be, Michael Farrell... He asked some heckler in the audience: Yes? What would you like to say?. In I Have Forgiven Jesus Morrissey made a change to by Friday, this job has killed me and in I Will See You In Far Off Places he sang It's so easy for us to stand together, but it's so hard for the flesh to combine. After that song he remained on the same topic by sarcastically commenting So I heard today that the USA bombed Irak again, (crowd boos) but they're probably looking for weapons of mass destructions, eh... keep an open mind....
Diana Ross - If We Hold On Together (Blaisdell Center - Honolulu, Hawaii, Jan 12, 2018)
Diana Ross sang a beautiful and (shall I say it?) delicious rendition of her giant #1 Japan hit, If We Hold On Together, a song she rarely sings in the continental United States. Unfortunately, from my vantage point, there were too many obstacles (hands waving/heads bobbing) that I couldn't get a good video of it. Also, security was tight around me and they had previously told me no video...so I did the next best thing, I recorded the audio. I added photos that I had taken at the concert to create this video. You make do with what you have.
Since then, I have seen other versions of this on YouTube with the actual video footage from the concert so I guess it all depended on where you sat in the arena. The best one I've seen is by someone that goes by the YouTube moniker: reveamourpaix. Look up that person's videos of Diana Ross' concert in Hawaii. They are fantastic! Here's my version....I hope you enjoy this for what it is!

Zedd performing live in Vancouver at the Commodore Ballroom September 28, 2013. Moment of Clarity tour.
My phone hasn't really captured how amazing the production visuals were, this doesn't do it justice at all. As you can tell, the camera went a little crazy with the bright lights and couldn't focus.
