Open Air Museum of Ethnography, Tbilisi, Georgia
The Giorgi Chitaia Open Air Museum of Ethnography in Tbilisi, Georgia houses cultural architecture and exhibits from all over Georgia. Located in the Vake district, the whole museum covers 52 hectures of land and comprises over 14 ethnographic zones, 70 historical buildings and over 8,000 folk artifacts, including traditional household items. With friendly English and Russian speaking guides, the museum provides an excellent insight into Georgian culture and history.
Turtle Lake, a weekend recreational destination for Georgians, is also located uphill from the museum. It makes a pleasant stroll and there are cafés and restaurants for those who wish to grab a drink or a bite in the peaceful surrounding.

There is a way ^^ Visit the Ethnographic Open Air Museum in Tbilisi and you will get an impression of the whole cultural atmosphere of this beautiful country! This museum presents about 70 houses belonging to different regions of Georgia. The air is fresh, the views are beautiful, the pastime is informative. Especially beautiful in spring and autumn. The museum is located on a hill from the city and it is most convenient to use a taxi to travel there and back. Entrance fee from an adult 5 GEL (October 2019). More information on museum.ge

Best museum in Tbilisi, Georgia + a creepy Soviet park
Visiting the Ethnography Museum in Tbilisi, Georgia is always a good idea. The museum is more like a historic village consisting of more than 70 houses and 8000 items and it has a super cute goat! Located on a secluded hilltop it also offers some great views!
Below the museum is a huge Soviet-style park. Built in 1946, Vake Park tries to impress but fails, miserably, as all things Soviet do. It's still worth seeing, though, if you happen to be in the area.
