Crazy glass toilet door at Cafe Diglas, Vienna, Austria
This toilet door is clear glass, until you lock the door. Then it turns cloudy, and a No Entry sign is projected on the door. Cafe Diglas is great - you'd just better hope that the toilet door doesn't fail while you're sitting in there!

PAN AM NEW HORIZONS AUSTRIA & VIENNA TRAVELOGUE MOVIE 61624
This 1964 color film on Austria is one of a series of Pan Am New Horizons travelogues and was produced by Film Services (London) Limited. The soundtrack has beautiful music. It opens with a long shot of a Pan Am Jet Clipper landing before the jet bridge arrives, the Captain opens the door, and passengers deplane at Vienna Airport (:09-:54). People exit a VW Standard Microbus at the Vienna Intercontinental Hotel; the women wear short white gloves and the men are in suits. (:55-1:10). A double trolley tram zips by (1:12). People dine under umbrella tables (1:19). A Vespa scooter with a large basket passes (1:32). The tram passes the Parliament Building (1:41), and the Belvedere Museum (1:58). Musician statues include Beethoven (2:20), Schubert (2:32), and Mozart (2:39). At an outdoor café, a woman reads a newspaper and drinks her coffee, and children eat milk and toast (3:05-3:25). A couple are served a close-up of strudel and pastries (3:28-4:11). A party is held in the wine gardens at Grinzing (4:46-5:25). People are served drinks on the TranzAlpine Express Train (5:28-5:52). A yacht zips by at St. Wolfgang (6:07-6:28). The White Horse Inn is both a real hotel with a statue and a 1931 operetta (6:30). Stores offer traditional-styled clothing (6:39-6:53) and Austrian pottery (6:53-7:00). A tour boat for Falkenstein passes (7:21-7:32). The splash from a water skier covers the camera amid multiple water skiers (7:33). A closeup of a hand places a golf ball on a tee (7:55-8:20). The City of Salzburg is panned (8:25-8:52). Metal shop signs have fanciful shapes (8:53-9:05). The fountain outside the Sound of Music location spews water (9:06). Various outdoor diners are shown (9:13-9:33). A procession with a cross of Jesus and the “poles of glory” wrapped in flowers leads off the St. John’s Day celebration in Zederhaus (9:35-10:15). Corn shocks are neatly stacked in the fields (10:17-10:30). The Ambras Castle is famous for painted chimney pots (10:36-10:53). Murals are painted on houses (10:59-11:15). An attractive woman wearing a Bavarian (Tyrolean) hat with a feather loads a shotgun while pheasant hunting (11:26-11:45) and returns to the Itter Castle (11:46-12:16). At its pool, a man is joined by a bikini-clad woman with a beehive hairdo (12:17-12:55). Later, they have drinks and dinner (12:55-13:55). The Annasaule Monument is in Innsbruck (14:05), which also has the Golden Roof (14:15-14:35) and Maria Theresa Street (14:36). A cable car passes overhead going up the Eastern Alps (14:55-15:30). A couple dressed in traditional Alpine clothing walk hand-in-hand (15:34). A woman in a dress and a man in a suit each ride a chair lift (15:39-16:00). Views of the Alps are shown (16:01-16:24), with a closeup and sound of a cow bell (16:25-16:35). A woman carries a basket of apples and drinks water out of hand pump as an old man and boy stack chopped wood (16:36-17:13). A NSU Prinz 4 dangerously drives up the many curves of the Silvretta High Alpine Road to Grossglockner (17:16-18:50). Winter means snow skiing (18:53-19:40).

LIVE from Vienna as polls open for snap parliamentary election
Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe
Ruptly is live from the polling station where former Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz is registered to vote in Vienna on Sunday, September 29.
Austrians are heading to the polls to vote in a snap parliamentary election that’s taking place following the so-called ‘Ibiza Gate’ scandal, which brought down Austria’s coalition government earlier this year.
According to opinion polls, the Austrian People’s Party (OVP) will get 34 percent of the vote, the Socialist Party (SPO) 22 percent and the Freedom Party (FPO) 20 percent.
If no party gains an outright majority, coalition negotiations could follow the election.

Open House Vienna | Hochhaus Herrengasse 6-8
13-14 September 2014
Vienna ranks as the city with the world’s best quality of living, according to the Mercer 2012 Quality of Living Survey. Part of this is due to its outstanding architecture and design. On 13 and 14 September 2014 about 50 to 100 buildings - many of which are normally inaccessible - will open their doors for the general public, free of charge.
Open House Vienna invites residents and guests to get to know their neighborhood and previously unknown parts of the city. To personally experience architecture, to get a fresh look at architecture and design as such, and to feel the urban energy of Vienna.
Vienna combines tradition and modern life in a special way. Open House Vienna is set to open doors of commercial and residential buildings, of highlights in the history of architecture and state of the art contemporary buildings.

ST. STEPHEN'S CATHEDRAL-SYMBOL OF VIENNA!
Vienna, Austria is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and St. Stephen's Cathedral is the symbol of Vienna. The cathedral is the highest point of Vienna's inner city skyline and it looks like it can reach the heavens. The church features a combination of Romanesque and Gothic styles. There are hundreds of years of history here and you can feel the history as soon as you enter the cathedral's doors. You will be amazed at the interior's stained glass windows, paintings, carvings, and sculptures. It's organ is one of the largest in Europe. Mozart was married here. This is absolutely a must-see when visiting Vienna!

Vienna Xmas tree lighting opens festive markets
(16 Nov 2019) Vienna Mayor Michael Ludwig on Saturday switched on the lights of Christmas tree in front of the town hall, officially opening the city's Christmas markets.
Over 2,000 LED lights make sure that the tree can be seen from everywhere on the square.
This year the tree hails from Salzburg – it's 32 metre (105 feet) height makes it the tallest Christmas tree in Vienna so far.
The ceremony was accompanied by traditional Austrian brass bands.
Every year various Christmas Markets in Vienna attract millions of visitors worldwide.
Around 150 stalls can be found in front of the town hall selling everything from mulled wine to jewellery.
In addition, the market also features an ice-skating rink right next door.
All Vienna Christmas markets will be open until December 24.
