Manaslu Circuit Trek Itinerary || Killer Mountain || Larke-La Pass || Visit Nepal Official
Manaslu Circuit Trek Itinerary || Killer Mountain || Larke-La Pass || Visit Nepal
This video is about the trekking itinerary to Mount Manaslu also Known as Killer Mountain. The Pass at the height of 5106 m from sea level known Larkya - la Pass is between the circuit trek. Manaslu Circuit may be the best Trek in Nepal, remote, lightly traveled, visually stunning and culturally rich. 15-day trek of the Manaslu Circuit.
Trek circulated Mt. Manaslu (8,163 meters) - 8th tallest mountain in the world
It is one of the most beautiful, and still not too walked tourist routes of Nepal.
This region of Nepal is located on the border with Tibet, and for a long time it was closed for foreigners.
The trail around Manaslu was opened only in 1992. Rather to say, conditionally open. You can only come here accompanied by a certified guide, working with foreigners.
Tracking around Manaslu is not conventional pedestrian tourism, it's not what we are used too. It is a long foot walk with light baggage.
It is not permitted to go on the trail without a guide. You can resent and protest. But it is better to relax and enjoy the process.
Our travel begins in Pokhara, on the bank of the picturesque Bava Lake. Daramsala — a typical mountaineering camp. Usually hikers spend the night here. To conquer the top in the early morning. We are only going to have breakfast, and a short halt here.
We not only have to pass over the Larkya La, but also need to reach the next village, on the other side of the mountain, before it gets dark.

Upper Mustang Trek 2018
Upper Mustang is the arid desert mountain in the central part of Nepal. The landscape and culture of this “Forbidden Kingdom” are identical to the bordering Tibet and showcases the indigenous and geographical diversity of Nepal. Colorful oasis provides striking colors to the monochrome valleys of earthy colors, turning the valley of Upper Mustang into a visual delight for the travelers.
The touristic hub Nepal is known as trekking, hiking, peak climbing, Mt. Expedition, Wildlife Safari Bunjee Jumping, River Rafting, Kayaking, Cannoning and many more. Even though three is the variety of activities which would never miss once you are in Nepal. In overall there are hundreds of trekking trail open for its visitors and the same amount of other destinations like the religious tour cultural tour. However there some restriction in some place to go through. For example, if you want to visit Mustang then you need to pay the entry fee of USD 500 for 10 days valid and some other place like Everest you have to pay USD 33 for the single entry. According to the rules and regulation, someplace has less fee to be entered and some place has more as well as some place that travelers doesn’t have to pay the penny.
PAANCHPOKHARI Sindhupalchok, Nepal - the closest thing to HEAVEN from Kathmandu
#paanchpokhari #nepal We visited the beautiful Paanchpokhari once again, this time of Sindhupalchok during the festival of Janai Purnima. Thanks to our friend Phurpa, we were invited by Paanchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality, and its tourism and sports development wing. They have been organizing Paanchpokhari Half-Marathon every year during Janai Purnima and we were there to cover the third edition.
And wow, what an experience! From Shamans clad in vibrant clothes to pilgrims flocking the religious site, from the lush green grasslands full of colorful wild flowers to the breathtaking view of the mountains in the morning, from the friendly locals to one of the tastiest mo:mos we ever had, this was truly an epic experience.
Contrary to popular belief and because of the latest developments, it is now more easier than ever to reach Paanchpokhari.
Special Thanks to Phurpa Lama and friends, Ngima Chhiring Tamang, Ward Chaiperson of Bhotang, Baikuntha Dai and Third Paanchpokhari Half Marathon Organizing Committee for the support.
If you plan to visit Paanchpokhari, these contacts will be helpful.

Annapurna Circuit Trek | Thorong la pass by 7 years old boy : Trekking in Nepal
The Annapurna Circuit trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. This trekking allows you to have amazing natural scenery and culture dramatically change from subtropical forests, paddy fields, and the world’s deepest river gorge to ice flows, a high mountain pass, arid cliffs, and mountain views.
Passing through Manang, the trek starts with views of the Gangapurna range, Tibetan-like Buddhist villages, and woodlands, through the Marshyangdi Valley. The highest elevation of this trek is Thorong La pass which is 5,416 m above the sea level. Annapurna circuit trek basically the trek starts from the Besi Sahar and ends at Marpha village depending on the trekker's choice, interest, and fitness level. Make sure that from Besisahar to Manang and Mustang to Marpha is connected to the road sometimes you can trek in the alternative trails sometimes you have to follow the main road.
You have a marvelous view of the mountain that will be encountered during trekking such as Annapurna 2,3,4, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, Dhaulagiri massif, Manaslu, Nilgiri and so on the panoramic view.

Lumba Sumba Pass Trek, Nepal, Kanchenjunga [full trek]
This film features the full three week Lumba Sumba pass trek, in the Kanchenjunga region of Nepal. It is in a little-known undiscovered trekking region - off the beaten track in the remote and isolated Eastern Himalaya. More info at
Episodes (slightly longer versions) are also on my channel.
The trail traverses the mountains between the third and fifth highest in the world - Kanchenjunga and Makalu. It passes through rarely visited Sherpa and Limbu villages, rugged valleys and up to the spectacular Lumba Sumba pass itself.
The Lumba Sumba was only opened to foreign trekkers in 2012. But even now (2018), very few outside visitors go there. Although there are teahouses in many villages, up towards the pass the trek requires at least three or four nights of camping. Many people camp for the whole trek, but mixing it up with a combination of simple lodges and camping worked for us. Once we had left the Kanchenjunga trail, we didn’t see a single other foreign trekker for about two weeks. We were late in the season (November), but I expect if you visit at any time trekker numbers will be low.
Online, I met Andrew from England, then Prakash (guide) and Sundesh (porter) from Nepal. We were a small group of four trekkers.

We love Nepal. Why? This tiny country offers so much to travelers in search of amazing vistas, trekking, outdoor activities, cultural experiences, and fascinating cities. Despite its poverty, its gritty and overcrowded city streets, and its difficult living conditions, we instantly fell in love with this country.
Nepal offers some of the best trekking options in the world, with both the Annapurna Circuit and the trek to Everest Base Camp. But there is more to Nepal than just the Himalayas. The Kathmandu Valley is home to one of the densest concentrations of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the world. Pokhara is the adventure capital of Nepal but it is also a wonderful place to relax and to get your yoga fix. Walking the streets of Thamel in Kathmandu was one of our favorite activities.
Nepal is a budget traveler’s haven, offering world class activities at extremely low prices. Consider visiting here this year…you will make some phenomenal travel memories.

Travel Tips
==========
When To Go
High season is October and November. The skies are clear and the weather is still relatively warm. This is when trekkers flock to Nepal, hitting the trails in the Himalayas. Shoulder season is in the spring during the months of March and April. If you trek to Everest Base Camp during this time you will be able to see the tents of Everest climbers at base camp. The monsoon brings rain from June to September, making trekking difficult. During the winter months, trekking in the Himalayas is possible, but be prepared for very cold conditions and snow.
Power Cuts, aka “Load Shedding”
Nepal does not have the infrastructure to provide electricity to all of its people all of the time. Be prepared for daily power cuts in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and other cities. There is a power schedule that is loosely followed.
Traveling Overland in Nepal
If you plan to travel in Nepal by car or bus, build extra time into your schedule. Travel in Nepal is slow. A 200 km journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara took us eight hours. Yes, traveling this way may be frustrating at times but it is an eye opening experience.
Top Experiences
==============
Trekking to Everest Base Camp. This is one of the main reasons people travel to Nepal. This is an epic travel experience, a multi-day trek through the Himalayas to the world famous Everest base camp. And yes, you can do it with kids! If you are traveling to Nepal as a family, you might like to read Trekking to Everest Base Camp with Kids.
Annapurna Circuit Trek. Believe it or not, this is Nepal’s most popular trek. Some say the views are more better here than on the journey to Everest.
Kathmandu. This city has got some serious character. The streets are narrow, dusty and crowded. Motorbikes, tuk-tuks, and people compete for space on the roads. Prayer flags flap in the wind. Shops filled with souvenirs compete for your money in Thamel. Kathmandu is chaotic, beautiful, dirty, overwhelming, energetic, friendly, loud, and tons of fun. Walking the streets here was so enjoyable for us, full of unexpected surprises
Lumbini. Lumbini is the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, the founder of Buddhism. This holy site is home to numerous temples and is a place of pilgrimage for many people.
Pokhara. Best spot in the world to go paragliding? Some say it is. Pokhara is also a great spot to relax, do yoga, go shopping, and hike up to the World Peace Pagoda.
UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Patan and Bhaktapur. Both of these cities, located near Kathmandu, are home to ancient temples. Unfortunately, some of them have been badly damaged or destroyed by the earthquake of 2015. These are places still worth seeing…visiting here could be like watching history unfold as Nepal slowly rebuilds some of its holiest sites.
Open - Nepal and The Himalayas - Nov 2018
Opening sequence of our Nepal and Himalayan Adventure Nov 2018. Much more to follow.
Langtang Kyanjing Gompa ||Nepal || VLOG 4 || Day 5
The Langtang Valley is just a short drive north of Kathmandu and so provides an opportunity for very short duration treks to still reach high into the heart of the Himalaya Mountain peaks that run along the border between Nepal and Tibet. This region was affected by the April 2015 earthquake and parts of the original trekking trail still remain blocked by landslide material. However rebuilding and trail clearing by the local people has been rapid and extensive and the valley is now open once again for trekking. This is one of the most scenically rewarding treks in Nepal.

Mardi Himal Trek, Annapurna region Nepal
The Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek is a recently-opened pristine trail in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The trail was walked only by shepherds and cattle before 2012. Trekkers follow the ridge above the Modi Khola river draining Annapurna Base Camp. The trail at first winds through dense rhododendron and maple forests rich in bird life. The clearings in the forests offer magnificent view of the Annapurna range.
The trail soon climbs above the tree line, offering undisturbed view of snow-covered peaks, including the most spectacular Mt. Fishtial. The changing colors of the peaks at sunset and sunrise appear heavenly. Eventually you will be rewarded with a view of Annapurna I (8,091 meters, 10th highest in the world) and other peaks seen from Annapurna base camp.
On day one, after breakfast, drive 40 to Kande to begin the trek. Day two heads to the forest camp at 2,700 meters. The trek branches off from the main trail towards Annapurna base camp. The forest camp has three teahouses in the middle of the forest. On day three, head to Badal Danda camp, at 3,300 meters. This offers undisturbed views of snow peaks and sweeping valleys. On day four, trek to High Camp at 3,600 meters - on this day the vegetation is mainly grass, allowing unbroken views of the range.
Day five is the toughest of all, with an altitude gain of almost 1,000 meters. Mount Fishtial and Mardi Himal appear closer. You will also see Annapurna III and Annapurna I at a distance. On the way back, go further to Badal Danda for the overnight stay. Day six is a trek back to Deurali, and on day seven you will trek down to Dhampus Phedi for the drive back to Pokhara.

The 7 Days Langtang Valley Trek starts with a day ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. We begin the walk from Syabrubesi (1400 mts). We head upward to Lama Hotel (2500 mts) and Langtang village (3500 mts) until we arrive at the famous Kyanjin Gompa (3850 mts). In this video I review one of my favourite treks in Nepal, the Mardi Himal Trek. It is one of the greatest short treks in Nepal. I would say that the climb to the Upper View Point is one of the best hikes in the world! I had a great time on the trek in October 2018 and I'm super happy to do this trek review!

Manaslu Circuit Trek in Nepal With Tsum Valley - 2019
The Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley is a trek in Nepal, which reaches an altitude of 5,100m at Larke Pass through the base of Mount Manaslu, the 8th highest mountain in the world. These unspoiled mountain valleys feature a mix of raw Himalayan nature and ancient Buddhist culture, with Manaslu and Tsum Valley offering the most striking and jaw-dropping scenery of the entire Himalayas.
You don't have to look far to find reports that overcrowding is a growing issue, both on Mount Everest and other classic trails in Nepal. However, the Manaslu and Tsum Valley remain off the beaten path and are among the least crowded treks in the western region of Gorkha Nepal. The trek also offers a lot more side-trips than any other base camp, although the majority of visitors would only explore the Manaslu circuit. However, with a pre-planned NEST Adventure, the team in Kathmandu has made it possible to explore the Himalayan landscapes and Buddhist culture of Manaslu with an additional side trip to Tsum Valley.

About Myself (Raj) Who is the Editor/Producer/Director and Script Writer Born and raised in Gorkha, Nepal, I am proud to call the Manaslu region my home! I have been in the travel business for over a decade from being assistance guide to being a guide/leader to being a manager and finally a founder of NEST Adventure. So you could say, I know my way well enough in the Himalayas especially in some of the off-the-beaten trails in Nepal like Manaslu, Kanchenjunga or Mustang.
