A Walk Around The City Centre, Oslo, Norway
The inner city centre is bounded by Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) to the east, the Royal Palace (Slottet) to the west and the seafront (from Akershus fortress to Aker brygge) to the south. It is fairly compact and easily walkable. Karl Johans gate, the mostly pedestrian main street connecting Oslo S and the Palace, is the main artery of downtown Oslo. However, several of the neighbourhoods close to the centre hold interesting sights and entertainment offerings, so to explore these you should make use of the city's comprehensive and modern public transport system.

OSLO PASS | Oslo on a budget with Oslo City Pass | Plus, the Viking Ship Museum
Oslo, Norway is an expensive city. Thankfully, you have the option of Oslo Pass, a bundle that can save you money while traveling in Oslo.
Full review of Oslo Pass here:
The Oslo Pass gives you the freedom to travel by bus, tram, underground for free within Zone 1 and 2 - pretty much all of central Oslo. I chose to ride bus 30 to the exciting Bygdøy Peninsula, where two of Oslo's most popular museums are located. By the way, if you have an Oslo Pass, admission to these museums is free - along with about 30 other museums in Oslo!
The Viking Ship Museum is one of the best museums I've ever been in. It was built specifically to house two excavated, well preserved Viking Ships from the 800s. You can also find so many Viking artifacts inside the ship.
Not far from the Viking Museum in Oslo, the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History is also highly recommended. There are around 150 structures here to showcase Norwegian culture and architecture in an open air museum. You can also visit some of the inside exhibits, where you can find several friendly and knowledgeable attendants.
The highlight of the Norsk Folkemuseum is the Stave Church. It was an authentic 13th century wooden church, brought over from Gol. You can step inside to admire its amazing preserved structure, and talk to the attendant lady to learn more about it.
Thanks to Visit Oslo for providing me with an Oslo Pass.

OSLO FREE WALKING TOUR | Oslo City Hall | Things to do in Oslo, Norway
Looking for things to do in Oslo, Norway? There's no better way to get an introduction to a city that to do a free walking tour (or view vlogs about free walking tours)!
Today, I decided to do the Oslo Free Walking Tour in the morning.
You can do the Free Walking Tour Oslo in either English or Spanish. The English tours happen twice a day - 10am and 1pm daily.
It starts at Oslo Central Station. We made our way to the Oslo Promenade and Oslo Opera House before hitting up the old town. Oslo has three city halls, and we visited them all. The tour ended at the Oslo Parliament Building, next to the Grand Hotel.
Although an indoor visit to the Radhuset is not part of the Free Walking Tour in Oslo, you simply have to go inside. It's free, and fabulous!
Radhuset feels like walking into an art gallery. There are so many great murals that show you the daily lives of Norwegians throughout history. You'll also see some great interior design. Don't forget to check out the jewel of the city hall, the Munch Room.
Please like and share this video.

A Walk Around The Oslo Central Railway Station, Oslo, Norway
Oslo Central Station, Norwegian: Oslo sentralstasjon, abbreviated Oslo S, is the main railway station in Oslo, and the largest railway station within the entire Norwegian railway system. It is the terminus of Drammen Line, Gardermoen Line, Gjøvik Line, Hoved Line and Østfold Line. It serves express, regional and local rail services by four companies. The railway station is owned by Rom Eiendom and operated by Bane NOR, and was opened in 1980.
Oslo Central was built on the site of the older Oslo East Station (Oslo Østbanestasjon, Oslo Ø), the combining of the former east and west stations being made possible by the opening of the Oslo Tunnel. Oslo Central has nineteen tracks, thirteen of which have connections through the Oslo Tunnel. The station has two buildings, the original Oslo East building and the newer main building for Oslo Central. Each building houses a large shopping centre. The square in front of the station is called Jernbanetorget.

Oslo city - Norwegian fishermen selling fish in Oslo Harbor - Oslo attractions
Fisherman stand in their boats selling fresh caught fish and shrimps in Oslo Harbor (Oslo Harbour) close to the fashionable Aker Brygge harbor area. The fish on sale appear to be European Flounder (Latin name: Platichtys flesus) or in Danish Skubbe, a member of the flat fish family, Cod (Latin name:Gadus morhua) or in Danish Torsk and shrimps (fresh and cooked shrimps). I am a little bit in doubt whether the Cod (Torsk) that they are selling are indeed Cod? There mouths appear to be very narrow and pointed for a Cod? Does anyone have an opinion?
Wiki writes about Oslo, Oslo, the capital of Norway, sits on the country’s southern coast at the head of the Oslofjord. It’s known for its green spaces and museums. Many of these are on the Bygdøy Peninsula, including the waterside Norwegian Maritime Museum and the Viking Ship Museum, with Viking ships from the 9th century..

Oslo is a small town with only 600,000 inhabitants you'd think there isn't much to do in Oslo. Well, you may be pleasantly surprised. Oslo has a lot of great bars & night clubs to offer but the only downside; Oslo is VERY expensive and venues close at 3:00am but that shouldn't prevent you from having an amazing time.
I recommend you start your evening in the Grünerløkka hipster district, this renovated district has quite a few great places to grab a few drinks like Blå & Bortenfor easily located right next to each other. Blå is often considered the best place to be on a Sunday.
In the downtown core of Oslo there is a bar alley way called Strøget which houses a conglomerate of bars namely; Uhørt, Angst, Den Gamle Stobutikken and Karusell all great for socializing and a few beers.
My favorite venue in Oslo is Kulturhuset, a massive social complex with ping-pong tables, fussball, multiple stories of bars and multiple dance floors. I met so many incredible locals at this place that I always ended my nights at this place. A must visit in Oslo!
For some good ol' fist pumpin' and beats head over to NOX/Sollihagen for a young Norwegian crowd or Stratos for an upscale EDM rooftop party with incredible views of Oslo. Alternatively, there is the Lawo lounge where you can mingle with the high rollers and upscale peeps of Oslo. Make sure to try the true Norwegian shots: Akvavit or Aquavit, this extremely strong liquor will have you question your new found Norwegian friends.
If you are an electro head or techno music enthusiast there is a great club called The Villa, this place often featured world famous techno DJ's. End your night with an epic pork knuckle wrap from the Crowbar & Brewery on the Torggata street where you will also find Cafe Sara. In conclusion, Oslo is a small, expensive but amazing city for a few days of sightseeing and making new Norwegian friends.
