90th Anniversary Celebration of Wailuku Jodo Mission (Part 1: Service)
Wailuku Jodo Mission (Maui) celebrated its 90th Anniversary on November 13, 2004. Service was officiated by Rev. Yoshinori Nakazawa. Message was delivered by Rev. Komyo Kozu. There should be part 2 coming (I'm looking for the tapte)!!!

2015 WEHOPE Dharmathon Message by Rev. Nakai
The WEHOPE gathering was a five-day meeting of Jodo Shinshu Buddhist Kaikyoshi ministers from around the world reflecting on their common mission to freely share the truth of the Buddhadharma in a way that speaks to the immediate concerns of the communities they serve. On April 15 and 16, 2015, a total of 18 ministers shared the Dharma messages which are presented here.
WEHOPE stands for West and East Hongwanji Overseas Propagation Exchange. The two mother temples are in Kyoto, Japan: Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha – Nishi Honganji (West) and Shinshu Otani-ha – Higashi Honganji (East).

Live a Real, Not Virtual, Life A Dharma Talk given by Reverend Bob Oshita at the Oregon Buddhist Temple Sunday January 21, 2018.This Dharma Talk was given at our annual Hoonko service, the service which commemorates the passing of Shinran Shonin, the founder of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism. Reverend Oshita was the Rinban at the Sacramento Betsuin. He retired in 2016 after 32 years at the temple. He and his wife Reverend Patti Oshita are the current chaplains at the State of California Assembly, only the 2nd Buddhist officials to hold the title of Chaplain for the State of California Legislature.
