David Heinichke talks about the coastal tall grass prairie ecosystem and other geographic features of Brazos Bend State Park. The park is always different as the seasons change.
Brazos Bend State Park is one on Texas' most diverse and interesting parks with everything from American Alligators to Vermilion Flycatchers. There are literally hundreds of bird species that are home to the park or migrate through the park.
Every visit to the park is different as it changes constantly with the seasons and weather. You will be seldom disappointed and constantly surprised by what the park has to offer.
