Olympic National Park Beaches, Washington, USA in 4K (Ultra HD)
The Olympic National Park coastline has some of the wildest and most beautiful beaches in the world. With amazing views, sea-stacks, piles of driftwood, tide-pools and miles of coast line to explore they are popular for beach combing, backpacking, and hiking along the Pacific Ocean, and less for sunbathing.

Washington Coast | Ruby Beach, Lake Quinualt, Seabrook, & Long Beach
Our road trip along the Washington Coast and Olympic National Park with our awesome Korean Jindo dog, exploring the unique beaches of Ruby, Seabrook, Long Beach, and Lake Quinualt.
TOP TRAVEL TIPS:
*The Washington Coast is beautiful, but it is difficult to go when it's sunny, so try to go when sun is predicted in the forecast.
*Long Beach has much to offer with Cape Disappointment State Park and Beards Hallow- definitely could be done with this trip.
*Cannon Beach and the Oregon Coast is less than an hour away from Long Beach, and La Push where Second Beach is located is less than an hour away from Ruby Beach, so this drive could become an epic road trip if there is enough time.
*We left from Seattle and explored all of the stops in one day, then stayed in Long Beach, probably the nicest ocean sandy beach in Washington.
Map of our route:
WHAT WE DID:
(0:00) Intro with all of the destinations

Washington's Coastal Beaches Part II - Pacific Coast and Fireworks
Part two of an RV trip and camping around Washington's Olympic Peninsula visiting Salt Creek Recreation area tidal pools, Crescent Beach, and Crescent Lake, Ruby Beach, South Beach Campground, Quinault, and in Ocean Shores for Fireworks on the beach.
Part I
My first stop was the Salt Creek Recreation Area where I scored a great campsite with an ocean view. I also spent a day exploring the nearby tidal flats along the coast before sharing a beautiful sunset with some new friends.
Part II
As I traveled west along Highway 101, I couldn't help but stop at Lake Crescent, located right in the middle of the Peninsula. Lake Crescent's clear water and majestic surroundings made it a worthwhile break from the drive West.
After a brief stop in Forks, WA (made famous by the Twilight movies) I headed to the Pacific Coast. My first stop on the Pacific Ocean was beautiful Ruby Beach where I walked the beach and made friends with a couple fellow travelers visiting from California.
A short drive south along coast put me at the South Beach Campground. This quaint campground, operated by the National Park Service, is located right on the waterfront and costs a mere $10 per day. I decided to stay there a couple days and celebrate my birthday while I was there.
I eventually made my way to Ocean Shores, WA where I met up with my family. We enjoyed a relaxing few days, lit fireworks on the beach, and also enjoyed the many others doing the same.
Overall, it was a spectacular little trip. I had a great birthday, made friends along the way and spent quality time with my family. What more can you ask for. This is a trip I will definitely repeat.

There are bunkers and forts scattered along the Strait of Juan De Fuca protecting the shipping lanes of America and Canada during the Civil war to WWII. Some have more access then others. Pacific Coast - Oregon - YouTube
The ocean isn't exactly warm and the occasional great white shark makes it's presence known, but that still doesn't stop the Oregon surfers. The Oregon Pacific coast is beautifully rugged with stretches of sandy beaches, rugged rocks and cliff formations and towering trees green and loaded with moss...all in all, quite beautiful.
