Pacific Dunes Ranch and RV Resort in Oceano California is an Encore property offering short and long term rates for RV guests. Located adjacent to the dunes of Oceano State Recreation Area guests can walk to the ocean (about 1 mile due west) or play in the sand and on the dunes. Pacific Dunes Ranch and RV Resort is located in a unique setting. The RV park is accessed by turning off Pacific Coast Highway (CA 1), passing by an industrial area, crossing the railroad tracks and then passing through farm fields.
Pacific Dunes Ranch and RV Resort offers full hookup RV sites with paved roads and sand/ gravel pads. The park shows signs of deferred maintenance and is a little rough around the edges but is located in a scenic area and is the only place to camp, other than on the beach in Oceano Dunes SVRA, with direct access to the dunes. Some guests mistake this access for the SVRA, it is not. If you want to ride dune buggies/ ATVS on the dunes you still need to drive out on to the beach through the normal access point. Guests of the RV park CAN walk out on the dunes but no motorized vehicles are allowed.
Easy access for any size RV with mostly pull thru sites on the interior surrounded by backin sites. The RV sites have a picnic table and easy to access hookups. Some pull thrus can be a bit tight side to side but most are plenty long. The official reservation line is 877-570-2267 but you can also call the RV park direct for reservations.
Day use guests can also access the dunes by paying a small fee. Thousand Trails and Encore members get discounted rates; normal guests can expect to pay about $55 per night.

Forest
Take a look at Forest! Forest is an 8 year old, 15 hh grade bay gelding. Forest has been shown in 4-H and has been extensively trail ridden all over the country. He has been on many overnight rides and will stand tied to the trailer on overnight rides. Forest will go anywhere you point him out on the trails, through the creeks and ditches, up and down the hills, over the logs, around machinery, through the brush, mud and rough terrain, rides off alone or rides well in a group. In the arena, Forest stands to be brushed, saddled, bridled, and mounted. Forest has a nice walk, trot, lopes circles, and takes both leads, stops nicely, backs up and neck reins that very best!! Forest is easy to catch, loves attention - is an in your pocket type of horse. He loads good, ties all day long, rides off the same each and every time, clips good, stands for the vet and farrier and he is an absolute gentleman to have around! He gets along good with other horses, both mares and geldings, has been ridden along the road and traffic does not bother him, ride him bareback with a halter and rope - anything you want to do horseback he takes it all in stride! If you want a gelding to get you noticed out on the trails with his color, shape and disposition, Forest is sure to get you noticed! Not to mention he is extremely well broke, and safe for anyone to ride, you won’t want to miss out on him! Sells 100 % Sound.

They call it The Endless Summer the ultimate surfing adventure, crossing the globe in search of the perfect wave. From the uncharted waters of West Africa, to the shark-filled seas of Australia, to the tropical paradise of Tahiti and beyond, these California surfers accomplish in a few months what most people never do in a lifetime& They live their dream.
Director Bruce Brown creates a film so powerful it has become a timeless masterpiece that continues to capture the imagination of every new generation. When it first played in theaters, audiences lined up to see it again and again, spellbound by its thrilling excitement and awesome photography. But in fact, what's most compelling about the film is the sport of surfing itself, and once you've seen it, you'll never forget why.
