Puerto Banús is an upscale community about 30 minutes drive away from Estepona Port with a large number of designer stores.
Selwo Safari Park is styled after African safari parks and houses 2000 animals in semi-wild conditions. It is a 20-minute drive from Estepona Port on the public transport route. Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Estepona is the exhibition and congress centre of Estepona, located opposite the supermarket on the eastern edge of Estepona - closest to Marbella. This centre is home to nearly all of Estepona's organised events including product presentations, fairs, commercial exhibitions, concerts and more.
Playa del Cristo, or Christ Beach, is five minutes west of Estepona Port. It is a small cove with lifeguards on station and also two chiringuitos or beach front bar/restaurants. Estepona acoge este fin de semana el Campeonato de España de Fisioculturismo y Fitness
El Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Estepona acoge este fin de semana el Campeonato de España de Fisioculturismo y Fitness organizado por la Federación Española. Se presentan diferentes categorías en hombres y mujeres, y en total serán unas mil personas entre participantes y miembros de la organización
Acto de Clausura del Curso 2015 EFA El Soto
Más de 500 personas, entre familiares, miembros de la comunidad educativa, invitados y autoridades llenaron el salón de actos Manuel de Falla del Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Granada, en el acto de clausura de curso y graduación de las promociones 2013-2015 de la Escuela de Formación Profesional Medioambiental EFA EL SOTO.
El Acto lo presidió D. José Ruiz Palomino, Presidente de la Federación de Escuelas Familiares Agrarias de Andalucía Penibética, titular de esta Escuela. Además, en la mesa estuvieron: Dña. María Teresa Soriano Vallejo, Directora del IFAPA y actuando en representación de la Consejera en funciones de la Consejería de Agricultura, Pesca y Desarrollo Rural de la Junta de Andalucía, Dña. Elena Víboras Jiménez, madrina de las promociones de Grado Superior que terminan. D. Manuel Titos Martínez, catedrático de Historia Contemporánea de la Universidad de Granada y padrino de las promociones de Grado Medio que terminan, D. Luis Rodríguez Gutiérrez. Presidente de la Asociación de padres de la EFA EL SOTO y D. José Manuel Pérez Moya. Director de la Escuela Familiar Agraria “El Soto” de Chauchina.
D. Angel Henares Maldonado, (Jefe de Estudios de la EFA) fue el encargado de coordinar este tradicional y emotivo acto, dando entrada a todos los intervinientes, y presentó la memoria de actividades del curso 2014-15, de una forma amena y acompañada de abundantes recursos multimedia. Un resumen que plasmó a la perfección la amplia actividad desarrollada por el centro en este curso académico, y que abarcó desde los actos de inauguración del curso, la Medalla de Oro de la Diputación Provincial de Granada, las enseñanzas impartidas, el reconocimiento a la excelencia educativa, las prácticas en empresas, las Jornadas Socioambientales y un sinfín de actividades más que se han recogida en la 15ª Memoria de actividades impresa.
A continuación se pasó al momento culminante del acto, el más esperado por todos, familias, profesores y especialmente para los alumnos, la entrega de Becas, como reconocimiento a la labor y esfuerzo hecho por los alumnos para conseguir el título durante los dos últimos años.
Tras la graduación de los aproximadamente 150 alumnos de la promoción 2014-15 de los Ciclos Formativos de Prevención de Riesgos Profesionales, Trabajos Forestales, Gestión Forestal y del Medio Natural, Producción Agroecológica, Gestión de Alojamientos Turísticos, y la entrega de Becas a estos alumnos, se procedió a la visualización de un vídeo recordatorio de las prácticas realizadas por nuestros alumnos en Europa, concretamente en Nicotera (Calabria- Italia).
Posteriormente se dió paso a la intervención de D. Luis Rodríguez como Presidente de la Asociación de Padres que emotivamente desgranó el sentir de un padre ante este momento y la implicación de estos con esta escuela Familiar. Después, el alumno de Grado Superior, David Villegas, leyó el manifiesto a favor del medio ambiente en nombre de toda la comunidad educativa y a continuación otro de nuestros alumnos de grado superior, Manuel Quirós, tomó la palabra para dar las gracias a la EFA y a sus padres en nombre de sus compañeros. Fue un momento simpático, adornando sus palabras con alguna que otra anécdota y emotivo a la vez.
A continuación se procedió a la entrega de las DISTINCIONES “EFA EL SOTO 2015″. Este año han recaído en IFAPA, Centro camino de Purchil Granada, en reconocimiento a su colaboración con la EFA y su trabajo por el Medioambiente y la Agricultura. Recogió la distinción Dña. Mª Teresa Soriano Vallejo, directora del centro. La siguiente distinción recayó en Sierra Nevada Natural, en reconocimiento a su colaboración con la EFA y compromiso con a conservación del medio ambiente, recogiendo la distinción su director D. José Manuel Rivas Fernández. Finalmente las dos últimas distinciones fueron entregadas a D. Guillermo Montero Illescas en reconocimiento a su trayectoria educativa y su compromiso con la formación de los jóvenes, y D. Diego de la Cruz Serrano del Pozo en reconocimiento a su colaboración con la EFA y su compromiso con los jóvenes y familias. Las distinciones fueron entregadas por D. José Ruiz Palomino y D. José Manuel Pérez Moya.
Al terminar los tutores de los cursos que terminan D. Alfonso José García, D. Francisco Rodríguez, D. Miguel Ángel Sánchez, D. Rubén García y D. Eduardo García, se reunieron con sus cursos para fotografiarse junto con el resto del claustro, y los padrinos de la promoción.
Al final las familias pudieron disfrutar de un aperitivo en las instalaciones del Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Granada.

Basada en una hilarante sesión de psicoanálisis, Lutherapia está compuesto por diez obras nuevas, entre las que se incluyen títulos como El cruzado, el arcángel y la harpía (Opereta medieval), Las bodas del Rey Pólipo (marcha prenupcial), El flautista y lasratas (orratorio), Aria Agraria (tarareo conceptual) y El día del final (exorcismo sinfónico-coral). Como es habitual, se presentan instrumentos informales nuevos como la Exorcítara, el Bolarmonio, y el Thonet.
