Restaurant La Paloma in Palma, Mallorca
Dining in La Paloma is one of Palma’s best pleasures. Housed in a beautiful historic building, this La Lonja restaurant is one of the city’s favourites, offering excellent food all day.
Two floors of carefully curated ambience await at La Paloma. With soft lighting and charming décor, it’s a lovely setting in which to join friends, family or a partner for lunch or dinner. This Swedish-owned establishment is famous for its selection of grilled meats, but it doesn’t end there. Modern tapas, classic Spanish tapas and vegetarian options are equally as good, and well complemented by the extensive wine list.
There’s a touch of regality about La Paloma, with its exposed stone walls, original arches, iron grill windows and chandeliers. For special celebrations, there’s the choice of a private dining space with capacity for up to 30 people, and the equally fitting Sa Noble room upstairs, the sense of history well preserved.
You don’t require a special date for an excuse to visit one of Mallorca’s nicest restaurants, however. The weekday set lunch menu offers very good value and is well worth booking for, too. Wind your way along Calle Apuntadores, and be charmed by a very Mallorcan fusion of Swedish flair meets Balearic soul.
