Paquette's Annual Tractor Pull and vintage Farm Tractor and vehicle show
This annual show was on Feb. 18, 2017 in Leesburg, Florida.
Paquette's is a huge vintage farm museum with Farmall and IH tractors, and holds this tractor pull plus show of classic cars, vintage trucks and fire engines. This video contains about 16 minutes of videos of mostly the tractor pull, then about 100 still shots of the other displays in the remaining 10 minutes..

Paquette Museum opened its doors to an antique truck show, and also displayed its museum contents. This is the first in an occasional series of the videos I made there. It's an amazing collection of tractors, trucks and implements.

GREAT CHICAGO FIRE BREWERY, LEESBURG FL
LEESBURG BREWERY WITH A CHICAGO FLAIR
COME JOIN US……. The Great Chicago Fire Brewery & Tap Room, Leesburg Florida
This a fun, friendly place to hang with friends and to me new ones. Our Chicago/Firefighter themed Tap Room offers 10 of our own beers brewed on premise along with several guest taps featuring beers from small craft breweries across the US. Enjoy our spacious outdoor beer garden and street side outdoor seating.
Our daily menu can be compared to any one of a 100 hot dog joints in Chicago. Real Italian Beefs with Giardiniera peppers. Italian Sausage with sweet peppers. Maxwell Street Polish Sausage with grilled onions. Gyros off the spit with tomatoes, onions and fresh tzatziki sauce. I can’t forget the original Chicago Hot Dog. All beef with onions, neon green relish, tomatoes, mustard, a pickle slice, sport peppers and celery salt. (Never any ketchup!) Pizza Puffs. Chicago Pizza goodness all wrapped up in dough and fried to perfection and last but not least, real Tom Tom Brand Tamales.
We have just added a true Thin Crust Chicago Pizza to our menu. A cracker thin crust with our own pizza sauce to the edge. We add your favorite toppings like Italian Sausage or Pepperoni and then cover it all with fresh Mozzarella Cheese. The crust and the cheese are baked to a golden brown and it is cut into squares not slices.
Now let’s talk about our beer. We brew “drinkable” beers. Simple beers that everyone can enjoy, because we realize not everyone is a craft beer aficionado. Brewing in small batches, we can be creative, but not crazy in our beer choices.
We hold regular special events like Tap Takeovers where we bring in beers for a designated brewery and their brewery rep to talk about the beers they brew. There are always samples and great give-a-ways. There is our Cool Cars Under the Stars cruise in on the Third Thursday of every month and our Downtown Leesburg Bike Night sponsored by our great friends @ GATOR HARLEY-DAVIDSON on the second Thursday of every month.
We have plenty of parking and are located in Historic Downtown Leesburg, which offers a great shopping experience with specialty shops, antique stores, and a host of unique food and drink establishments. It’s definitely worth the trip from Orlando or the Villages. Out on your motorcycle and need a bite to eat or to wet your whistle, this is the place!
We have recently added some amazing craft spirits distilled right here in the state of the Florida, some right here in Lake County; Whiskeys, rums, vodkas and gins (No tequila distilled in Florida to date.)
We also have our new food trailer, Fry Station 311 serving some of the best Fried Chicken, Wings and Fish hand dipped in our own special batter and seasonings. Open Fri-Sat 3pm-8pm

NASCAR DAYTONA BEACH RACE Circa 2/58
Another from the Fireball Roberts Collection. Bonus footage of the Remnants of the fatal Bobby Meyers (Petty Car) Crash in Darlington. On the original reel, Darlington Race came first before the Beach Race.
At the Southern 500 on September 2, 1957, Myers qualified the No. 4 Petty Enterprises Oldsmobile in the second spot. Myers led his first lap in NASCAR Grand National Division competition during the race. Myers was involved in a violent crash on lap 27; Fonty Flock was driving Herb Thomas's No. 92 Pontiac and spun on the backstretch (the current start-finish line), stopping perpendicular to the track, in turn three (near the current Turn One following 1997 changes). Paul Goldsmith and Myers both struck the stopped car at full speed.[1][3]
Flock and Goldsmith both received serious injuries in the crash. Fonty Flock spun and slid to a stop on the backstretch. Bobby Myers slammed into him, immediately followed by Paul Goldsmith. The crash seriously injured Goldsmith, ended Flock's career, and killed Myers. He then flipped side over side and barrel rolled. Myers died from his injuries.
