Kona Riviera Villa 201 Ocean side Condo Kailua Kona Vacation Rental
1 Bedroom - In quaint 12 unit complex - Right on Ocean
This cozy, comfortable and unique condo is located within the small, quaint, and quiet Kona Riviera Villa complex. The complex is located on Ali' Drive (the ocean drive from the village of Kailua-Kona to the small community of Keauhou). Sit on your very own, private lanai which is direct oceanfront and watch the dolphins and whales frolic in the ocean; relax on the living room sofa looking out at the beautiful Kona sunsets; cook your favorite meal in the lovely recently updated kitchen while looking out at the serene ocean; lie in bed while peacefully dreaming of paradise and watching the ocean tides. If you love the ocean, enjoy peace and quiet, and appreciate a location that has a beachy character, this place is for you. Feel the ocean breezes and fresh salt air every day of your vacation. For your comfort, we recently added A/C to the bedroom.
The Kailua-Kona Coast has the most colorful and spectacular pink, lavender, and orange sunsets in Hawaii. You can watch the incredible Kona sunsets right from one of the decks or the lanai, as well as the cruise ships, para-sailing, whales and dolphins.
The Kailua-Kona Historical Village is a short drive from the Kona Riviera Villas (2 miles north on Ali'i Drive) . The Village is very quaint, with lots of charm and good shopping right along the water’s edge. Some of the activities you can find in the Village and nearby are: beaches, luau’s, farmer’s markets, art galleries, jewelry shops, restaurants, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, boogie boarding, and deep sea fishing…Just about every water sport you can think of! There are also several great golf courses nearby. There is so much to do to stay active, or you can do nothing and just lounge on the beach.

Stunning Ocean View! This beautiful 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms home with a private solar heated pool and an outdoor shower. Unobstructed ocean view of the Kona Coast line. Spectacular stargazing from your own private deck.
At the hale...LIVE OUTSIDE! At night the outdoor lanai area around the pool is wonderful spot to kick back and relax, have a drink and/or dinner, and/or watch the kids play in the pool.
The home is conveniently located close to many amenities which include a plethora of dining options (including the famous Sam Choy), a movie theater and shopping center, all within a five minute drive. Numerous resort amenities are available just to the South. The Keauhou Bay area offers great ocean access, scuba diving, and sailing, catamaran, fishing charters, sea kayaking and outrigger canoeing.
Just a few miles down the shoreline you will find Kahalu’u Beach State Park, famous for its encounters with the graceful green Hawaiian Sea Turtles.
Magic Sands Beach and Kahalu'u Beach Park are BOTH within 1 miles...These two beaches are our absolute favorites on Ali'i Drive and the most popular. This is the best location to the beaches and to enjoy access to the best shopping and restaurants on Kona to Downtown Kailua. Keauahou with the famed manta ray night dives is also about 5 minutes. Right in the middle of everything.

Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Pier. Visit the famous Farmer's Market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee, have a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang out on the many beautiful beaches.
Up the coast is a busy marina with Hawaii's best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, dolphin and whale watching and other ocean activities. Ali'i Makai is conveniently located, a great home base to explore the many wonders of the Big Island including Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory, coffee and macadamia nut farms, artist communities, and more!
Steven gives his cloths to homeless man in Kona Hawaii.
Steven is stranded on the Big Island Hawaii because a donated boat giving to his ministry sunk and the local authorities and business refused his presence in the area for a haul out. Sadly the boat sunk, but Jenkins stays on island helping the homeless.
Hiking Guide - Green Sand Beach, Hawaii
The Green Sand Beach Hike on the Big Island, Hawaii is great for hikers of all levels. Found on the southern tip of the Big Island, hikers can expect a hot, hour long, trek to the green sands that await them at the base of the bay. Unlike some other 'colored' beaches, the sands here are actually a shade of green - created by glassy Olivine crystals along the volcanic coast! Rides to the Green Sand beach can also be purchased from locals at the parking area for those not up for the hike.

Paradise? Sewerage in the Water, Drugs on the Docks - S O S - Hawaii's State Marinas
WARNING: SOME OF THE SCENES IN THIS VIDEO MAY BE DISTURBING TO SOME VIEWERS.
The State of Hawaii's public boat harbors are in trouble. With raw human sewerage in the water, drug related crime on the docks, a dysfunctional paperwork system that forces legitimate boaters to wait years for a slip while people without boats are allowed to bog down the allocation system for years on end, crumbling infrastructure, and harbor revenue passing through to an 'ocean recreation' general fund rather than direct reinvestment back into its harbor system, boaters in Hawaii are in trouble, with no help in sight.
