The Toadstool Hoodoos, Utah, United States.
Just off Highway 89 a few miles west of Big Water, Utah are the quite eerie looking Toadstool Hoodoos.
An hour round-0trip from the car park, these deceptively large features area well worth the walk. I was unlucky as I arrived the day after a major rain storm and the ground was in places, a mud pool. Having said that, the muddy boots, (and hands from slipping) were worth it.
These are miniture (7m tall?) versions of the Balanced Rock feature shown in another of my videos.
Co-ordinates for parking: 37°06'04.2N 111°52'24.1W (Copy and paste into Google Earth or similar. Toadstools about 30 min hike north.
Toadstool Hoodoos Trail, Happy Mothers Day! from Arizona (Utah) | Vlog 256
Best part about it, it was free! Its a small hike Near Kanab Utah.
Tourism level is a 1-2/10 10 being, you have to dodge selfie sticks.
Check out the Toadstool Hoodoos Hike, its short, like 0.8 miles each way and you can explore the mushroom areas a little bit more if you like. I recommend going at dusk, golden hour. It looked amazing and wasnt too hot. You can camp out there for free!

The Toadstools Grand Staircase Utah
The Toadstools Grand Staircase among hoodoos in southern Utah on the Toadstools Trail, located just off Highway 89 near Page, Arizona.
A land of balanced rock formations which look like mushrooms, The Toadstools is an enchanting wilderness area accessed via an easy to moderate 1.5-mile round-trip hike.
Located in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, this precious area is a great place to play and explore. You can stretch your legs on the jaunt from Kanab to Lake Powell or stick around and try to discover the more than a dozen toadstools beyond the largest, and first, one. This hike is free, unlike many destinations in the area, and makes for fun and interesting photos.

Toadstool Hoodoos using 4K drone
In this video I fly around the Toadstool Hoodoo area using a DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone shooting in 4K. I hiked to a hillside overlooking the area and flew the drone over the main Hoodoo area where the iconic Toadstool Hoodoos are. But, in addition to showing off the area that most people visit I also fly around the area to show parts that most people don't even know exists so that you may plan a trip there with greater knowledge of the other interesting areas around the main hoodoo site.
So, the takeoff point was located on a hillside a bit ESE of the main area and then head north before heading west towards the main area. I then cover the main area and the most impressive hoodoo's before flying NE over some slot canyons that are seldom visited. I makes one more trip over the main platform area before heading back east and to another lessor known area with badlands and canyons. I proceed to fly back west a bit flying over the takeoff location giving a view to the normal parking area and the route one takes to hike to the formations.
The use of a drone provides a vantage point not available to folks hiking on foot and allows me to highlight hoodoos that can't be seen from the ground. There are other hoodoo areas mentioned in the video that may be reached on foot but the soft soils could easily be damaged -- another advantage of a drone as it is truly a zero footprint way to explore and photograph and video with zero damage to the soils.

Grand Staircase-Escalante NM, Utah
The Wahweap Hoodoos, a congregation of impossibly white rock spires topped with reddish-brown capstones, are quickly becoming one of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument's most recognized formations. The hoodoos are generally described as three separate groupings—the White Hoodoo, Hoodoo Central, and the Towers of Silence. The three groups are separated by just a few miles and you can visit all three in one morning without a problem.

The Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument is a U.S. National Monument protecting 1,880,461 acres (760,996 ha)[1] of land in southern Utah.
There are three main regions: the Grand Staircase, the Kaiparowits Plateau, and the Canyons of the Escalante - all of which are administered by the Bureau of Land Management as part of the National Landscape Conservation System. President Bill Clinton designated the area as a national monument in 1996 using his authority under the Antiquities Act. Grand Staircase-Escalante encompasses the largest land area of all U.S. National Monuments.

The Monument stretches from the towns of Big Water, Glendale and Kanab, Utah on the southwest, to the towns of Escalante and Boulder on the northeast. Encompassing 1.9 million acres, the Monument is slightly larger in area than the state of Delaware.
The western part of the Monument is dominated by the Paunsaugunt Plateau and the Paria River, and is adjacent to Bryce Canyon National Park. This section shows the geologic progression of the Grand Staircase. Features include the slot canyons of Bull Valley Gorge, Willis Creek, and Lick Wash which are accessed from Skutumpah Road.
