THE 15:17 TO PARIS - Official Trailer [HD]
From Clint Eastwood comes The 15:17 to Paris - in theaters February 9.
--
From Clint Eastwood comes “The 15:17 to Paris,” which tells the real-life story of three men whose brave act turned them into heroes during a highspeed railway ride.
In the early evening of August 21, 2015, the world watched in stunned silence as the media reported a thwarted terrorist attack on Thalys train #9364 bound for Paris—an attempt prevented by three courageous young Americans traveling through Europe. The film follows the course of the friends’ lives, from the struggles of childhood through finding their footing in life, to the series of unlikely events leading up to the attack. Throughout the harrowing ordeal, their friendship never wavers, making it their greatest weapon and allowing them to save the lives of the more than 500 passengers on board.
The heroic trio is comprised of Anthony Sadler, Oregon National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos, and U.S. Air Force Airman First Class Spencer Stone, who play themselves in the film. Starring alongside them are Jenna Fischer (“Hall Pass,” TV’s “The Office”); Judy Greer (“War for the Planet of the Apes”); Ray Corasani (TV’s upcoming “The Long Road Home”); PJ Byrne (“The Wolf of Wall Street”); Tony Hale (TV’s “Veep”); and Thomas Lennon (“Transformers: Age of Extinction”). Paul-Mikél Williams plays the younger Anthony, Bryce Gheisar plays the younger Alek, and William Jennings plays the younger Spencer.
Eastwood (“Sully,” “American Sniper”) directs from a screenplay by Dorothy Blyskal, based on the book by Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos, Spencer Stone and Jeffrey E. Stern. Eastwood also produces the film, along with Tim Moore, Kristina Rivera and Jessica Meier. The film’s executive producer is Bruce Berman.
Behind the scenes, the creative team includes frequent collaborators Tom Stern, who served as cinematographer on 13 of Eastwood’s previous films, and Deborah Hopper, who has served as Eastwood’s costume designer on 17 prior films; editor Blu Murray, who most recently cut “Sully,” and that film’s composer, Christian Jacob. Veteran art director Kevin Ishioka, whose work can be seen in “Sully” and in “Dunkirk,” serves as production designer.
Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Village Roadshow Pictures, a Malpaso production, “The 15:17 to Paris.” The film will be released in theaters on February 9, 2018. It will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, and in select territories by Village Roadshow Pictures.
Oldest Footage Of Paris Ever
English:
The Oldest Footage Of Paris Ever
Historical film production company Yestervid have released their latest video, 'The Oldest Footage of Paris'.
It features a stunning collection of the oldest footage of various places around the great city of Paris. The unique video also includes maps and new footage showing side-by-side comparisons of the old and new.
The video features:
* 24 vintage shots of recognizable places in Paris from 1877-1900
* Added dates and maps to show where the camera was
* Amazing side-by-side or fade comparisons with modern footage of exactly the same spot
* The clip that is the oldest surviving footage of a known location in Paris - a historic gem from 1887.
The video has French titles, but is fairly self explanatory for non-French speakers.
Why make this film?
As far as we know, a project of this nature and factual depth has never been undertaken.
We also love the feeling of seeing the horse drawn carts, people and old buildings.
Nostalgia makes you reflect on your own life and leaves you with a sense of wonder because essentially, this is your story.
How and when was the video produced?
In June and July 2015, old footage was researched and collected from various credible sources. The original shots were then recreated by visiting sites across Paris. The footage was carefully matched up, arranged by location, dates and other facts were researched, maps and some great photos were added, and it was finished off with a classy soundtrack.
Who is Yestervid?
A film production company that specialises in the films and footage of yesteryear.
We dive deep into the past to find the best human stories and amazing nostalgic gems, and then we spice them up for a new generation.
Our films are enjoyed by everyone with a love of nostalgia, culture and history.

La vidéo présente :
* 24 photos vintage d’endroits reconnaissables de Paris entre 1877 et 1900.
* L’ajout de dates et de cartes pour montrer où la caméra se trouvait
* Une comparaison côte-à-côte incroyable avec des images récentes prises exactement du même endroit
* Le clip vidéo qui est la séquence la plus ancienne de Paris ayant survécu et datant de 1887.

Paris (2008) - Trailer English Subs
Directed by : Cédric Klapisch
Produced by : Ce Qui Me Meut
Genre: Fiction - Runtime: 2 h 10 min
French release: 20/02/2008
Production year: 2007
This is the story about a Parisian suffering from an illness who wonders whether he is going to die. His condition makes him look at things and the people he encounters in a whole new way. The fact of envisaging death suddenly gives value to his life, the lives of others, along with the life of the whole city.
Truck farmers, a baker, a social worker, a dancer, an architect, a homeless person, a professor, a model, and an illegal Cameroonian immigrant, despite having next to nothing in common, all find themselves united in this city and this film. You may think there is nothing special about them, but for each of them, their lives are unique. You may think that their problems are insignificant, but, for them, there could be nothing more important in the world. - Cédric Klapisch
