This is probably one of the best markets we have reviewed. All under one roof you will find fresh fruit and vegetables, pet shop, nursery, bakery, Deli, butcher, fresh seafood and a barber. Along side what you would normally see at a market like Paddy's. There is plenty of on-sight parking, toilets and ATM's. For lunch there is a variety of food trucks and food stores . Just a tip, its quite big so go to the information center and ask for a free map of the markets first. Do your rounds then get your groceries before you leave.

Parklea Markets to stay open
Parklea Markets will remain open. Stall-holders were thrilled with the news when interviewed by Anne Tarasov and Carlos Furtado from the Blacktown Sun recently. Most said that the fact that the venue was indoors allowed them to trade no matter what the weather was and customers were still flocking to the markets despite the economic climate.

We went to Parklea o look for food to eat that day. and being that there is a stall that sells Polyfood, we had to support them first. hat's how I feel and that's what I did.

Parklea Markets Bans the Selling of Cats and Dogs
Parklea Markets, located in Sydney’s west, has banned the selling of caged cats and dogs on its premises after a highly publicised incident that occurred in February this year. Trevor and Sue's Pet Supplies were criticised for keeping animals locked in small cages at the markets overnight during a heat wave in Sydney, where temperatures reached 44 degrees.
Footage of the caged animals went viral after two shoppers, Aimee O’Brien and Zac Gallen, posted photos and videos showing the conditions the animals were in on social media. An online petition was started on Change.Org to ban the presence of caged cats and dogs on premises. The petition has gained over forty-five thousand signatures since February.
