Built in 1899, by polish architect Lev Vlodek, the passage belonged to the merchant Mendelevich. Now, passage is one of the lare largest auction centers in Odessa.
ODESA is fourth largest city in Ukraine with a population of 1,029,000 people. Odesa - it's summer capital of Ukraine, it's major seaport located on the northwest shore of the Black Sea.
According to European standards, city of Odessa is a relatively young city. It was founded in 1794 by the Empress Catherine. Odessa has the highest in Ukraine density of population. Although the Ukrainians make up a majority population (about 60%) and the Russians make up large minority of 34 %, the primary language spoken is Russian , even among most Ukrainians, while Ukrainian is used primarily for official purposes.
Odessa itself is known for its uniqueness, and one of its unique features is the local humor. It also is a major manufacturing, railroad, and cultural center and, with its mild climate, a popular resort with many beaches, night clubs and hotels. In a rating of FDI Magazine Odessa ranked fourth in Europe for economic efficiency (Cost Effectiveness) and attractive business (Business Friendliness)In this video only the good sides of Odesa.

Nous avons quitté la Moldavie pour entrer en Ukraine! Nous sommes près de la Mer Noire, à quelques kilomètres d'Odessa.
Passage de frontière ok, avec un contrôle de l'Armée.
Visite guidée de notre AirBnb pour ce mois. Notre routine, nos sorties, nos impressions. Et une première virée sur la ville d'Odessa, la perle ukrainienne.
Quelles sont nos difficultés ici? Incontestablement d'apprendre le russe! Car la majorité parlent russe, même s'ils parlent aussi l'ukrainien!
Pas facile, il faut l'intonation que j'ai du mal à trouver. Et ici, très très peu parlent anglais, ce qui ne nous facilite pas la tâche!!! ;)
Certains parlent un peu russe? (petit clin d'oeil à Aline :) )
