Peek-A-Boo Loop | FULL HIKE - Bryce Canyon National Park
On this very morning (December 2017), I explored/hiked Bryce Canyon National Park in the state of Utah. This challenging path through the Hoodoo’s is complete with eye popping sceneries looking into the sandstone Canyons that will forever be remembered. Bryce Canyon National Park consists of around 37,000 acres of scenic colorful rock formations and desert wonderland. Individuals from all over the world come and visit this location with languages as varied as the shapes and colors of the hoodoos express pleasure in the sights. Elevations ranging from 6-9 thousand feet and diverse soil and moisture conditions influence the park’s plant life.

BRYCE CANYON National Park [Peek-A-Boo Loop] - Utah
On this day (December 2016), I explored Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. There is no place like Bryce Canyon with odd shaped pillars of rocks left standing from forces of erosion that can be found on every continent, however, these are the largest collection of “Hoodoos” in the world. Pictures are amazing, but they do not do justice.

Family came to Bryce to visit. We asked what do you want to do, they said adventure. We gave them Peekaboo, Spooky and Eerie Canyons. This is what we were able to record from Peekaboo Canyon in Escalante, Utah since the GoPro died.
Fairyland Loop Trail-Bryce Canyon National Park
This is a short video of the Fairyland Loop Trail that I hiked on my 57th birthday, July 16, 2014. It's a great hike that showcases the beauty of the hoodoos of the park. The hike is about eight miles and will take the average hiker about three and a half hours or so.

Bryce Canyon National Park - Sunrise to Sunset Point hike through Hoodoos
The Navajo Loop Trail descends from Sunset Point through the slot canyon of Wall Street, where 500 to 700-year-old Douglas Firs reach upward toward the sunlight at the top of the canyon. The Navajo Loop is the most popular trail in the park, and is often combined with the Queen's Garden Trail to form a longer loop that passes through the Queen's Garden and emerges onto the rim at Sunrise Point. From here two very scenic and easy strolls can be taken as part of the Rim Trail. A ½-mile walk to the north on a wheelchair accessible trail which takes you to Sunset Point. Walking ¾ of a mile to the south across gently rolling terrain, you arrive at Inspiration Point.
My exact route:
Start at Sunset Point - known as Queens Garden Trail
Quick stop at Queen Victoria
Continue Queens Garden Trail to Peeakaboo Loop.
Hike Peekaboo Loop counter clockwise
Head up Navajo Loop (known as all street.
Finish up at Sunset Point.
Things To Know Before You Go To Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon National Park Mud-Bogging
Hey you guys! Thank you for joining me on another journey. We are here at Bryce Canyon National Park in Garfield County. This is one of the top Utah vacations to be had. Its magnificent hoodoos are like nothing you've ever seen before. Driving through Bryce Canyon, the spectacular beauty can be taken in at the viewpoints like these: Sunrise, Sunset, Inspiration and Bryce, Paria View, Swamp Canyon, Whiteman Bench, Farview Point, Piracy Point, Agua Canyon, Ponderosa Canyon, Black Birch Canyon. To more fully experience the park though, we hiked down the horse trail near Sunset Point since it was off-season in February. We encountered some patches of snow and ice, so we were very glad to have ice cleats to put on our hiking boots. The attractions of the park were even more amazing down among the limestone sculptures. It was so interesting to have Ranger Emily tell us about the canyon. We ended up finding a dirt road perfect for mud-bogging in our rental car, a Nissan Versa, outside of Bryce. That was a blast! We found affordable lodging in Panguitch for the night. It was so cool to later experience the night sky in Bryce Canyon and test our astronomy knowledge. This park is easily accessible by flying into Las Vegas or Salt Lake City and then renting a car--I suggest a four wheel drive--and driving the few hours there. Here's a travel tip for you: if you come in the winter, you may need snowshoes. These are some of the sights & trails you should check out: Sunrise Point Sunset Point , Navajo Trail, Queen's Garden Trail , Peek-a-Boo Trail, Inspiration Point, Mossy Cave Trail, Fairyland Trail, Tower Bridge and Natural Bridge.
